After a season of neglect my garden was overgrown & desperately in need of attention. Ben replied promptly, they arrived at the arranged time as well. Job was carried out to a high standard. A job that would have taken me days, was completed in a few hours. Pruning, few feet of the hedge, a boundary of trees all cut back, weeding, edges reformed & tidying. All waste taken away. Now the garden looks amazing.

First used this company a few years ago to revamp garden after building work. Sarah provided an amazing plan making sure all the areas most viewed from indoors were exciting and colourful. We now have a beautiful cohesive garden. We have been pleased to welcome Sarah back to our garden to enhance further areas which she has done with much success. Because she listens so carefully and then actually tries to fit our brief so closely it has been a very painless experience. Would not have known where to start to get what we had in mind - but now we have it! We are currently liaising with Sarah over a few tweaks and additions and as usual she has some brilliant ideas. We really enjoy our garden now both viewed from inside the house as well as in this glorious leisure space. Very happy to reccomend this company.

I recently had a One Day garden consultation with Sarah to give me some inspiration and advice on what to do with our garden (we’ve recently moved into a new build house with a fairly large garden area that we wanted to make the best of with some lovely planting while also making it kid friendly for our toddler and find space for a shed!). Sarah spent the morning with me thoroughly going through ideas for types of plants, positioning of plants, garden layout and helped with lots of problem solving too (as the garden space we have has a fairly challenging layout). It was a really enjoyable morning and I liked the collaborative approach that Sarah took, exploring my preferences at every point. From the morning’s session, Sarah produced a wonderfully detailed garden proposal for us and specific instructions for planting. Sarah’s plant knowledge is really impressive, she knew exactly what was best for our soil and the Yorkshire climate. As someone with minimal gardening experience, I now feel like I have a route forwards to creating a beautiful garden whereas before I didn’t know where to begin!! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend! When we bought our house, we were didn’t know where to start with the overgrown garden. We wanted to maintain the established plants and borders but make it low maintenance and easy to stay on top of. Annabel and Sarah created a contemporary garden design, which incorporated everything we were looking for in a low maintenance design. I have a small to medium sized garden on a slope, a long list of things I want to do in the space and a relatively small budget - a triple challenge! Sarah really listened and talked through all my ideas and came up with a brilliant design that incorporates lots of planting space for veg, herbs and flowers, a fruit garden, wildlife pond and seating area, whilst dealing with the slope and somehow making it seem bigger than before! It's a joy to be in and wows everyone who visits. Sarah was friendly, knowledgeable and professional and went the extra mile to help me. We asked Rob to maintain the garden at our parent's house until sold after they passed. Rob quoted turned up when he said and did a first class job returning as and when required. We live over 100 miles away and Rob just messaged to say he was going and sent pictures when finished. We could not ask for more and cannot recommend these guys highly enough ! Wow my garden was like a forest before. The work green gardens have done to transform my garden is amazing! Very responsive, very polite and professional did everything I asked for. No problems at all and very clean with their work. All friendly too but the job is immaculate and would 100% recommend to anyone. So many companies let me down but these lot came out valued and assessed everything and gave such a fair price compared to others.

Richard and his team transformed our overgrown space to a garden which always makes me smile whenever I see it. All the team were extremely professional and explained the process and helped us pick the plants which were low maintenance but ensure the garden looks beautiful all year throughout. Richard, Lottie and Andrew were incredible at taking on our garden full of stone, brick and artificial grass and clearing it all to create the beginnings of a beautiful garden. They came at a really difficult personal time, and their kindness, patience and absolute competence allowed the work to continue without stress. It was wonderful to know that we could completely trust their advice and helped us make decisions as the project went on. We were absolutely delighted with the superb job Richard Austin did in designing our beautiful new garden. He closely consulted with us throughout the process, listening carefully to all of our specific requirements - whether with regards to plants and features, or budget and timescales - and offered thoughtful guidance and expertise. Once the final designs were produced - during which time Richard regularly consulted with us and took in our feedback - Richard successfully project managed the hard landscaping which (due to geographical constraints) was outsourced to another firm. He himself then did a very fast, effective and highly professional job of the planting, sourcing the plants at the best quality and price. We have been delighted by the results, the garden never ceases to draw admiring comments from visitors and is getting progressively better as the years go by. Thank you for doing such an outstanding job for us and we would have no hesitation in recommending Richard to others.

Great guys, would definitely recommend and will definitely be back for further works in the future. Krystian provided a few different quotes for potential options and was able to show me his work. After deciding what we want, Lucas came over to take a look at the job, and within the week, he has been able to get the work done. They were both happy to stay later than I expected to complete the job within one day! It wasn't the biggest job, which is probably why we got squeezed in so early, but I can't help but think another tradesman would have made this last over a couple of days. Great work! Thanks again.

Challenging job done very well, quickly, neat and tidy and at reasonable price. Honestly would recommend Krystian and Lukasz to everyone looking for professionals for standard and non-standard projects. They will advise you if you are not confident with landscaping. Required job was to: relay existing patio, lay new patio area at the same level, make a drainage, use sleepers (to prevent landslade) wherever required, build up a new access to the garden from readymade posts, gate and fence pannel. On the pictures, there is still odd soil to be taken (waiting for the grab hire) and grass to be laid to complete the job.

Jason did various jobs for my elderly mum. Chopped down a small tree, trimmed some bushes, cleared all the autumn leaves up and fixed a fence broken by the wind. Visited the garden on 3rd September. Although it only has limited parking we had no problems finding a space. We were greeted at the entrance by a friendly and informative guide who gave us a brief overview of the gardens and amenities. As it was close to lunchtime the first stop was the cafe. This has a large seating both inside and in the garden. The food was good, we both had Paninies which were very good and at a good price. The facilities are spotlessly clean. You can visit the cafe without having to pay entry to the garden. The garden although is only 1 acre the design crams in so many small gardens and walkways it seems so much larger. The planting and hard landscaping is wonderful and is well worth the visit. Price is £7 which is very reasonable and even better is part of the gardeners world 2 for 1 ticket offer. The annual price is also a very cheap option at only .£30. There is also a shop and also plant sales again at reasonable prices. I would highly recommend a visit

A truly magical gem that surprises and delights. One of the most peaceful and restorative spaces I've had the pleasure to spend time in. This place couldn't fail to bring joy to all who visit. The sheer pleasure of being immersed in such a tranquil space can be seen on the faces of every single volunteer. It's a little escape from the hustle and bustle of life beyond the gate.

An absolute hidden gem! One of the most beautiful garden to visit in Yorkshire!! Plenty of interest everywhere you looked. There’s lots of different areas to wander and seating in places to marvel at the fantastic handiwork. The cafe had seating both inside and out with a good selection of food and drink. Plenty of parking spaces alongside a gift shop and plant nursery. Highly recommend visiting if you love gardens!!!

Visited here for the first time. What a beautiful garden with plants we've never seen before, a meadow with around 10 beehives, and a lovely cafe. A real gem, we will visit again next year. Cheers guys.

Richard and the team have done several jobs for us and we have been pleased with their professionalism and quality of the work. They've replaced a fence that came down in the storm, cleared an area filled with bushes and replaced them with roses, reused the bushes elsewhere in the garden and did a great job clearing and sorting the garden. I would definitely recommend them.

After struggling to get quotes after an uninsured driver went through my grandparents garden wall, Richard provide clear quotes which our insurers were happy with and commenced work shortly after.
