One of the best Maths Tutors. My Daughter attended here from the age of 7 and had amazing one to one with the Tutor. She achieved an A* as her overall grade from GCSE. Alot of support was given throughout her time here. Highly recommend Top Marks for anyone wanting Maths & English Tutition.

My son went to Top Marks tuition centre. The grades he got were excellent. The tutor is very reliable with good work ethic. She is a teacher by profession in a secondary school and she really knows the national curriculum. I would definitely recommend this tutor to anyone wanting realistic grades for their children. She is well organised and the structure of her learning is of a high standard. She is reliable and very affordable.

My daughter started at Kip Shipley when she was struggling with Maths, looking like she would not pass. We visited a few private tutors but as soon as we visited Kip Shipley I got that feeling of when you are looking for a new house, you know within the first few minutes of walking in that it's for you or not. Me and my daughter spoke to Gael and she was so warm and welcoming without the stuffiness of other places that we had visited, it felt like we had known her for years. My daughter was noticeably comfortable there and so there was no doubt we had found the right fit. Gael introduced her to her tutor Roy and her grade in Maths quickly started to improve and she has just got her GCSCE'S and got a 7 which is a massive improvement since she started at Kip on a 4. I would not hesitate in recommending to others or sending my youngest daughter there. The tutors are so calm and down to earth and great communicators instilling confidence in your child.

Both of my daughters have been to Kip McGrath in Shipley to help them gain confidence and keep up in maths at school. My eldest now scores 7s in maths leading up to GCSEs this year, whilst my youngest (9) needed to be taught a modern maths approach which isn't the way I learned. She now feels comfortable with the pace and ideas of maths at school and we are grateful to Gael and Roy for helping her grow so quickly. The cost is reasonable and the tutors are keen for students to sit every lesson which has been paid for so offer catch-up sessions in case of illness or unavailability from the student. There is a free assessment and you can get a good deal when paying in advance for a full term, weekly on a day that suits you. If your child needs a little help to get back on track in one of the key skills taught at school, just message and have an initial session to see how they go.

Both of our boys have attended Kip (Shipley) for the 11+ over the last few years and have been successful in reaching the required standard and gaining a place at their school of choice. We did try other tuition places for our youngest but ended up back at Kip. Gael /Roy and the rest of the team are super helpful and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is also much more relaxed and has a welcoming family feel to it. So much that our youngest actually enjoyed attending his lessons there. Would highly recommend Kip (Shipley) for anyone interested in the 11+ or even for just some extra help with their schoolwork.

I'm really happy with Tutor First. I've had my eldest son attend before his GCSE and now my young son is attending. He really enjoys going and thinks Jack is great. He says your learning but it likes being with your mate with Jack. Would recommend to anyone looking for a tutor.

Amazing private tuition centre. My son has has improved his Science and Maths subjects immensely. He has improved in all areas of his subjects that he is studying. We recently went to his parents evening and all the teachers noticed major improvements on his cycle assessments. This is has improved his confidence and learning in Year 10 and for essential preparation for crucial Year 11 GCSE's exams. We couldnt be more appreciative of the work at Kip McGrath, as he home studying wasn't helpful and easily distracted with modern technology.

Brilliant tuition centre with large , warm and welcoming open classrooms and great parking from where you can actually view the children working which is really great. My daughter passed the 11+ with this centre and felt her confidence grow quickly due to the strong relationships building with her tutors and fellow students The tutors create a perfect balance, motivating and caring for the students , especially good for shy and anxious children, creating a relaxed and comfortable learning environment. My daughter looks forward to 2 classes every week, she has never ever said she doesn't want to go ! Here, there's a chance to ask questions and get one to one support, unlike school , the tutors have time for your child and they will never feel nervous about asking for help... along with daily , ongoing, online learning at home In between, you will never worry about English and Maths again. My son has been going to Explore for a year now. When he started, he was very weak with reading, writing and numeracy. It really stressed me out when school told me how behind my son was working. I googled and found Explore Learning. I got him enrolled for English and Maths and showed the managers the reports. My son was in Year 2 at that time. He took two sessions a week and additional sessions during half term. My son started improving right away and I saw a massive difference in his next school report. He scored really well in the final term at school and then went into Year 3. When I saw this improvement, this encouraged me to consider a grammar school to challenge my son. I booked a test with the grammar school. My son passed the test in the first go with flying colours! This gave me more confidence and prompted me to write this review. To all parents who want the best for their children; if your child is weak in Maths and English, I wholeheartedly recommend Explore Learning to you all!

My 6 year old daughter has attended weekly tuition lessons at Explore for nearly 1 year now and I’m really pleased with the progress she’s made during this period. The staff are all extremely friendly and seem well trained in providing tuition. I’m pleased with the improvement I’ve seen in my daughter’s learning.

It’s a good tuition, every tutor is nice, hardworking, and respectful and gives loads of support. As today i did leave this tuition and they actually gave me a standing ovation for everything I’ve done for them. I want to thank the management team, and the tutors helping me with my gcse work and their hardwork. I also want to thank the greatest of all time tutor, Caitlin, for all the wonderful time she helped me and her jokes she made and how she told me about herself. I also want to thank Zainab g for her support she’s given to me in English literature and language and maths (the same as Caitlin did) and want to thank her for letting me sit with hudhayfah when working together and sorting a problem that I had. I just want to say to the people who wants their kids to go to this tuition is join them, they are actually good tutors that actually pay off their hard work to help others. John has kindly helped our daughter with her English GCSE’s for around 9 month’s after we got a shock last year where she was predicted below expected exam results. John through his thorough coaching and his attention to detail has lifted our daughter’s expected grades from a predicted level 3 to a 6 which is what she requires for her chosen career path. Johns approach to tutoring has certainly helped our own daughter and I would highly recommend using him for private tuition.

Me & my wife Sarah can’t praise Kip McGrath enough for all the help they gave our daughter Holly. We signed her up to build her confidence for her Year 6 SAT’s to ease the stress of it all and feel more comfortable when they came around. Ryan is incredible, Holly really enjoyed how he taught the lessons & he identified what area she needed to build on. Her Maths has improved dramatically & she went into her SAT’s with no worries at all. Thank you so much Ryan, Holly will be back for more sessions as & when during her High School Years!

Well what can I say about Charlotte, she is a caring, enthusiastic, motivated, lovely human being and that is clear to see in the work that she does which shows how passionate she is about providing the best education for children to learn and improve academically.
