I did some research and visited a few private tutoring centres before discovering Grade Up. When I met Atta, I had many questions about how he delivers the classes. He was incredibly informed, encouraging, and answered all of my questions. Ultimately, I chose Grade Up, which was the BEST DECISION EVER. My son's predicted grades were 6s & 7s, however he achieved 9s in GCSE Maths, 9-9 in GCSE combined science, and 8s in GCSE English language and literature. My son loves it here, although he took some time adapting to the centre, management and staff were FANTASTIC in catering to my son’s needs and requirements making changes to help him adapt and become more comfortable. An outstanding, amazing tuition centre which goes above and beyond to meet your child needs. My child was struggling with English and since attending the session at the tuition centre I’ve seen improvement. Lovely, friendly staff with good qualified teachers and specially Mubbashar you can see the passion he has to meet every child individual needs also love the way he has set up a pizza party every 4th week for the children attending the tuition session. The tuition centre is all year round which I find very helpful as when the children breakup for the six week holidays their don’t forget what they learnt at school. I will definitely recommend this tuition centre to other parents.

My son went to Top Marks tuition centre. The grades he got were excellent. The tutor is very reliable with good work ethic. She is a teacher by profession in a secondary school and she really knows the national curriculum. I would definitely recommend this tutor to anyone wanting realistic grades for their children. My son has been going to Explore for a year now. When he started, he was very weak with reading, writing and numeracy. It really stressed me out when school told me how behind my son was working. I googled and found Explore Learning. I got him enrolled for English and Maths and showed the managers the reports. My son was in Year 2 at that time. He took two sessions a week and additional sessions during half term. My son started improving right away and I saw a massive difference in his next school report. He scored really well in the final term at school and then went into Year 3. When I saw this improvement, this encouraged me to consider a grammar school to challenge my son. I booked a test with the grammar school. My son passed the test in the first go with flying colours! This gave me more confidence and prompted me to write this review. Brilliant tuition centre with large , warm and welcoming open classrooms and great parking from where you can actually view the children working which is really great. My daughter passed the 11+ with this centre and felt her confidence grow quickly due to the strong relationships building with her tutors and fellow students The tutors create a perfect balance, motivating and caring for the students , especially good for shy and anxious children, creating a relaxed and comfortable learning environment. My daughter looks forward to 2 classes every week, she has never ever said she doesn't want to go ! Here, there's a chance to ask questions and get one to one support, unlike school , the tutors have time for your child and they will never feel nervous about asking for help... along with daily , ongoing, online learning at home In between, you will never worry about English and Maths again. I've been going to Peak Tution for about 4 years now. Peak tuition helped me a lot in my GCSE's as they provided me with work I had to work on as well as helped me improve my Maths, Science and English grades. Before I went there, my maths grade was 2 and now it's 7 which is a huge improvement. It's a great place for student and I highly recommend going there.

My daughter started at Kip Shipley when she was struggling with Maths, looking like she would not pass. We visited a few private tutors but as soon as we visited Kip Shipley I got that feeling of when you are looking for a new house, you know within the first few minutes of walking in that it's for you or not. Me and my daughter spoke to Gael and she was so warm and welcoming without the stuffiness of other places that we had visited, it felt like we had known her for years. My daughter was noticeably comfortable there and so there was no doubt we had found the right fit. Gael introduced her to her tutor Roy and her grade in Maths quickly started to improve and she has just got her GCSCE'S and got a 7 which is a massive improvement since she started at Kip on a 4. I would not hesitate in recommending to others or sending my youngest daughter there. The tutors are so calm and down to earth and great communicators instilling confidence in your child.

Both of our boys have attended Kip (Shipley) for the 11+ over the last few years and have been successful in reaching the required standard and gaining a place at their school of choice. We did try other tuition places for our youngest but ended up back at Kip. Gael /Roy and the rest of the team are super helpful and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is also much more relaxed and has a welcoming family feel to it. So much that our youngest actually enjoyed attending his lessons there. Would highly recommend Kip (Shipley) for anyone interested in the 11+ or even for just some extra help with their schoolwork.

My eldest daughter attended Kip McGrath Shipley for 2 years running up to her 11+ exams. She thrived in the fun and friendly learning environment that the founders Gael and Roy have created and she (secretly!) looked forward to going every Saturday. Thanks to Kip McGrath Shipley's help she was successful in both of her 11+ exams, and she's now enjoying her first year of secondary school at North Halifax Grammar. All being well - and with the continued support from Kip McGrath Shipley - she'll be joined by her younger sister in a couple of years time. Finally, it's just worth mentioning that Gael and Roy switched premises in summer 2019, and their new learning centre is lovely and bright, with easy access for pick up and drop offs.
