Well what do I say.... Lisa is an excellent tutor with a positive attitude and engaging style. She quickly identified areas that our children had to improve on and gave targeted practice and coaching. As a result, our children greatly improved in all aspects of school. Especially in maths. I would never send my children anywhere else. we travel 1hr40mins round trip so my children can be tutored by lisa and her team.

My son started First Learning when he started secondary school. His report on Maths from primary school showed many areas needed improvement. Lisa and her team at First Class are brilliant and assessed my son on entrance to identify his week areas. Now my son has achieved over 85 percentage on subjects assessed as 30 percentage previously. Lisa is a very thoughtful tutor who puts a lot of thought into how she presents the material. Her lessons were engaging, useful, and she was very patient with everyone in class always encouraging her students to try. Sarah is a wonderful tutor who is always approachable, kind and understanding. After the covid lockdowns my daughter really struggled with her confidence in maths, but over the last year we have seen a huge improvement. She got full marks in her multiplication tables test this year and is performing above average in her last tests. My daughter loves going on Friday afternoons and is so much more confident and happy. As a parent I cannot recommend Sarah enough.

This tuition certainly offers excellent standards of teaching and each students progress is measured to make sure they understand the session being taught. I can’t recommend Gemma highly enough , my son has dyslexia and dysgraphia, at the beginning of year 11 he wasn’t expected to pass English language or literature. Her calm manner and sense of fun made my son engage and he enjoyed going every week. Gemma is very approachable and kept me regularly informed as to how he was getting on . Gemma’s tuition brought my sons grades up from a 5 in Language and 6 in Literature to achieving a 7 in Language and 8 in Literature. We had one to one tuition with Simon in maths for both my children prior to their GCSEs They both found him friendly and helpful and grew in confidence, knowledge and maths application. My daughter also attended the group classes at the centre for a period of time too, as drop in sessions were available for her. There was a weekly e- mail and Simon was happy to be contacted for any queries or tricky questions. We have been very impressed with the set up and would highly recommend first class learning to students at any academic ability.

My daughter needed help with GCSE maths. Adam Tutorial was local and we thought we'd give it a try. We are glad we did. The sessions are held in a small group, rather than the traditional 1-1. Maths is something you need someone to guide you when stuck and not a subject you need constant supervision. The end result is my daughter obtained the grade she thought beforehand she wouldn't attain. Adam definitely helped her on her journey.

Honestly I can not recommend Adam enough. He has been absolutely amazing, his knowledge and understanding for the children is exemplary. My sons Maths grades improved by 2 marks within 4 months, and he looked forward to his lesson every week. He said the way he was taught the maths was brilliant and if he was struggling Adam made sure he left feeling confident. He had is last lesson on Wednesday and I've just received 2 messages with extra support for his GCSE next week, he didn't have to do this but it shows that isn't just a business to him. If my daughter needs tuiting in the coming years I will not hesitate in where she will be going. Thankyou Adam again.

I have just used tuition mill for both of my boys. I found the tutors very professional and committed to provide an excellent service at the tuition mill. The management is very friendly and approachable, understanding to your individual needs. My boys excelled with the extra help from tuition mill. I felt really comfortable with my boys attending here because it is professional place and provides a great opportunity for them to have the experience of attending the tuition mill. I had regular updates and I was always able to contact them anytime of the day. My experience of tuition mill was like it’s your family and your taken care of and your needs are met. My older son who is now 18 and about to start his University degree attended The tuition Mill for extra maths support. He was able to achieve a grade 6 in his GCSEs. I strongly believe this was due to the classes he attended. The staff were extremely supportive (in and out of class times) and went out of their way to ensure he had everything he needed to pass his exams. My 9 year old now attends and has been attending for approximately three years. He loves going and I can see huge improvements in his work. The staff are great, communication is great and they respond to the individual needs of the students. Highly recommend.

Regarding the Maths support Roy gave, my son really enjoyed working with him and what Roy did was much appreciated. I am certain this has positively affected my son's grade and was the right decision to pursue. It clearly benefitted him in terms of his maths understanding and conversancy for his Physics A-Level and also associated levels of maths understanding and cognitive ability / maths type problem solving skills in general.
