We had our wedding at This Green Moon last month. If you are thinking about booking them for your special day or a party DO IT! I can't recommend them enough. Ashleigh and Paul and the whole TGM team could not do enough for us. Nothing was out of the question or too much trouble! We had a lot of heartbreak and hurdles leading up to the wedding. So I needed all the support I could get. They took all the pressure away with their expertise and calm beautiful ways. Plus have you seen the site? It's just magic 🏕️ We had a 140 plus guests with a whole range of needs and likes but they made it work with ease. The forestry trail for the kiddies was amazing giving their parents 2 hours off to boogie. The choice of drinks from the bar was incredible, the sounds systems brilliant, the staff so accommodating and clearly love their jobs. If you want an outdoor wedding but feel overwhelmed by the prospect of it book This Green Moon. They have the experience and set up, anything they don't have they know where to source it. They have a huge list of recommended suppliers, but if what your after isn't there, they will work with you to make sure you get what you're heart's desire. The weather on our wedding day was grey and damp, but in the lit up woodland haven of TGM it just added to the magic. There's plenty of covering from the elements and the fire pit in the centre of the tents kept all our guests warm whilst toasting marshmallows. I could go on and on. We found This Green Moon by chance when looking for local wedding venues and, it ended up being the only place we saw as we knew it would be perfect. Ash & Paul from the moment we met them and agreed dates were absolutely incredible, making sure every detail was covered for our wedding day. The setting is beautiful but, was made even more special by all the work the team put in on the run up to our wedding and surpassed all our expectations. Every member of the team were amazing and did everything possible to make sure us and our guests had the best time. I could write chapter and verse about This Green Moon and have thanked them endlessly for making our wedding exactly how we wanted it to be.

We held our wedding at This Green Moon in early May 2024, and we couldn’t have wished for a better experience. Ash, Paul and the team were incredible from first meeting them through to organising everything on the day. They helped us plan our day, gave really helpful insight and recommendations from their experience at other events, and on the big day made everything run so smoothly there was absolutely nothing to worry about. The whole team made our wedding so special; our friends and family are still talking about how great the venue looked, how friendly the team were and how good an atmosphere there was. Visited for a forest full of Christmas magic, absolutely loved it from start to finish! Staff were fab, great food and drinks selection. Magical experience for the kids following the trail and the lady at the craft table was super friendly and lots of fun! Lady and gent supervising fire pit - Marsh mallows and spiced cider were very polite and friendly too! There was live music, mainly Christmas, lots of people up dancing, really lovely. A brilliant start to our festivities, thanks so much x

Back in May our daughter and son-in-law got married on the beautiful island of Mykonos and we employed the amazing services of Pamella Dunn. We highly recommend Pamella Dunn Weddings, the service, organisation and communication between us and the wedding venue was outstanding. Pamella is such a wonderful lady to work with and is amazing at planning your dream wedding.

I can’t thank Pam enough for overseeing my wedding! I came to her with a vision and said ‘make it happen’.. and that she did!! Her floral arrangement are out of this world and she is an extra pair of very calming hands on the day. Pam was absolutely fantastic and put our mind at ease so much on the run up to the day and on the day. Just knowing she was there with us was a massive weight off if our shoulders. I cannot recommend Chloe enough. I've had a few balloon stacks from her and each time they have been amazing and just what I wanted for my boys. Chloe is extremely talented and very reliable. The last balloon stack was for my sons birthday beginning of Feb and I only just took them down at the beginning on May! They last ages and look fab!

On behalf of my husband and myself, we just want to say the biggest thank you to Ros and her team for styling our wedding. It looked truly stunning, and we had so many compliments on day. When we first met with Ros around 2 years before our wedding, I had ideas in my head of what I wanted, but I could not picture it. Ros, being the creative person that she is, took my ideas and set up a table to show me what it would like. From then on, the vision came to life. On the day of the wedding when we had our first look of the room all set up for the wedding breakfast, I could have cried at how beautiful it looked. We had created our own centrepieces for the tables and wanted these to be highlighted by the styling, and I was honestly blown away when I saw them! Every bit of the styling looked amazing and looked like it had been done with effort and care. Throughout the entire lead up to the day communication was spot on. Every detail was checked and double checked and nothing was to much for anyone that I spoke too. Even when I was being super picky about fonts and wording it was never too much to ask. Ros and her team are all highly professional and lovely people. Everyone that I spoke too was approachable and knowledgeable about what I was asking, and for someone with OCD, this was a massive reassurance! We would both recommend ATD to anyone wanting amazing styling done for their wedding by a wonderful, friendly team. Also want to thank Hannah at Inspirations Floral who works along ATD. Ross and her team did an amazing job for my surprise 60th birthday celebration meal at The Loft at The Moorlands, Halifax. My daughter, who lives in Edinburgh, liaised with Attention to Detail to organise the event explaining what she wanted for the venue. This took the stress out of organising everything for my daughter. When I walked into the venue I was taken aback with how gorgeous it looked! The flowers, the place settings, balloons, photo display plus more. Absolutely beautiful 😍 I would definitely recommend Ross and her team to others. 5 stars!!

Ros at Attention To Detail goes out of her way to make any event one that will never be forgotten. Nothing is too much, her ideas are always new and exciting, and any dream can be achieved. I have worked alongside Ros for a number of years providing her with flowers for events, and in turn she helps to provide brides and grooms with a venue that will have people in ore. What can I say! Right from the start Chris had the party started, knowing what to play and when. His energy was amazing. How he kept going like he did is beyond me! The sound was spot on. Really nice sound. The full kit worked perfectly. He had the crowd eating out of his hand. Honestly so impressed. Requests were made and played. Nothing was too much trouble. Ten out of ten! What a top bloke.

Wow! We couldn't have asked for a better DJ than Graham for our evening wedding party. He was simply immense! Graham had clearly read our brief and song selection, and he took it to the next level by adding some extra tracks that were just perfect. His ability to understand and enhance our vision for the evening was exceptional. Graham nailed exactly what we had in mind and flawlessly read the room all night. There wasn't a single moment when the dance floor wasn't packed, which is a testament to his talent and intuition. The energy he brought was infectious, and his seamless transitions kept everyone dancing from start to finish. Graham's talent and professionalism truly made the evening unforgettable. Over 20 guests specifically commented on how fantastic the DJ was. We would thoroughly recommend Graham to anyone looking for a top-DJ for their event. He was just quality personified and absolutely made our evening do!

We had Luke from WDC as our DJ for our wedding in July 2024. We had seen him previously at an event at Lost & Found and loved the songs he played. So we requested him for our wedding. Luke was absolutely brilliant, he made sure everyone was on the floor dancing all evening. We just gave a few song suggestions that we liked and he created a playlist from there and it was great. We had the best night and all of our guests had a fantastic time too. So thank you very much Luke for being a part of our special day. I had also been in touch with Hannah from WDC in organising Luke as our DJ. She was great in helping with this. She always answered queries really quickly. We can’t thank Debs enough for all her help in planning our wedding venue decorations. We had Debs booked for a previous venue and she happily moved with us to a new one. Our wedding was delayed due to covid so I changed my mind on the centre pieces but wasn’t sure what I wanted, debs was quick to suggest an alternative and they looked fab. Booked with Mark The Event for our Engagement Party Photobooth Hire. Mo and the team were exceptional - really friendly, helpful and professional. They compiled a guestbook for us to keep and sent us a link to all the pictures after the party. All our guests loved the printouts and getting their pictures on the spot with airdrop was really cool. Highly recommend their services and will be using again for our wedding!

Honestly the best photo booth we’ve had, lighting was great, props, background and personalisation available! Also could print out as many as we wanted on the night in addition to an airdrop digital photo! Would definitely recommend.

When we were picking the car for our wedding, we had a vast choice available to us, and it was really easy to put in place a date and payment. They were brilliant and very organised and the service was absolutely fantastic when ringing to clarify times for pickup. The driver Andy was absolutely phenomenal and was as polite as ever and went above and beyond his call of duty for both myself and my wife and her family and mine… he even checked both houses were locked and secure and we hadnt forgotten anything before we set off… and he asked us if we wanted any photos with the car inside and out before we set off and then when we got to the venue… we would 100% recommend cartwright cars to anyone… thanks again for everything it was massively appreciated!

Cartwright cars provided 2 cars for our wedding and it was an absolutely AMAZING. Drivers were so lovely and a calming presence. They made sure in my dress I was safely in and out of the car. Stayed after the ceremony for photos, even helped hold drinks and bouquet so the perfect shot could be found. Helped make the day as special as it was.

I run a Wedding floristry business and have recently relocated up to North Yorkshire (from South Yorkshire) as a result of this I have enquired with The UK Wedding Event about attending their Wedding Fairs to reach new clients. I attended my first one yesterday (26/3/24) and had a really positive experience. On booking I was kept up to speed with the details of the day, my emails were promptly replied to and I received a call to discuss the details of the day and my requirements. I was already impressed. I organised my mums surprise 50th birthday celebration here and it went perfect. The venue is beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had the crystal ballroom and it was great, we also hired the food and dj with the Berties and they did a fantastic job too. Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience, my mum absolutely loved it. X

We wanted a celebration of life party which ended up as a surprise Wedding. Katie, Emma and the team at Bertie's were just so helpful and compassionate at every stage of the party organising process. The room looked amazing, the food was great, can recommend highly enough. Thank you!

Went for Christmas party. Very fancy place with bar area and upstairs dining area. Limited options for vegetarians but the salad was delicious. The lemon raspberry cheesecake was to die for, the ragu was ok. The music and host were lovely and the staff was very sweet and helpful. Enjoyed it, also has good parking!

First I would like to say a very big THANK YOU to all the staff at Bertie’s. The venue was perfect, 80 people attended my wife’s celebration of life. The staff at Bertie’s couldn’t have been more helpful, Katie, (the manager)was wonderful, her organisation of the event was first class. The chef did me very proud, a perfect selection of hot and cold food, with a desert and Cheese board. Also Bertie’s supplied tea and coffee. I would recommend this venue to anyone wanting a FIRST CLASS venue!
