Ian did a fantastic job on fitting my worktop and new sink. He also created a cupboard to hide my boiler and the unsightly pipes. Cupboard has now been painted to match the kitchen units. I am so pleased with it and the attention given. Ian is meticulous.

I can highly recommend Ian. He completed a number of jobs for me, including laying laminate flooring, fitting skirting boards, architrave, a door casing and a new internal door. The work was completed to a very high standard, and Ian clearly takes pride in his work. Communication was great, and he was polite and friendly throughout. Would definitely hire Ian for any future joinery work required.

Ben built us a large bespoke utility cupboard with an adjoining dresser unit, made to match the style and colour of our existing kitchen units. He discussed our requirements, made suggestions, produced diagrams and worked around our builders. We have been very impressed with the quality of work. The soft-close drawers and shelves take a substantial weight of china and bottles! I would definitely recommend Ben and hope to use him again for other projects in the future.

We had a bespoke wooden door made by AG Joinery and we couldn’t be happier! The door is beautifully finished with frosted glass panelling to the side and a frosted glass arched window at the top. The quality of the product is fantastic and we are very pleased with our new front door. Thank you

Excellent joinery - Tony built a toy storage book nook under our stairs, a bespoke fitted wardrobe and 3 floating shelves. The service was excellent, he created unique beautiful pieces with skill (especially in our uneven cottage) and he assembled and fitted them in just a few days. Friendly, professional. We are very pleased with our staircase renovation completed recently by Richard. From the start, we were given different options and costs for the project. We had a very creaky staircase which was fixed, then oak cladding fitted alongside new oak treads, spindles and handrails. The work was completed to a very high standard and the finished staircase looks amazing. Richard even came back to add an additional top tread. We would definitely recommend Richard. We found Richard a conscientious and skilled carpenter. The staircase was just what we imagined and the cupboard under the staircase was much more than we imagined. RJ Joinery Review February 2024 & July 2024 Integral Wall Cabinet - July 2024 Having been delighted with Richard's upgrade of our staircase, we commissioned him to create an inbuilt wall unit in our lounge as part of the refurbishment programme. Needless to say the finished oak unit is a masterpiece of design and craftmanship at an extremely competitive price. As you can see from the attached photographs it has become the centrepiece of the new lounge and has met with rapturous approval from everyone who's visited. Thanks also go to Paul Wardman our electrician who oversaw a total rewire in the lounge and installed the LED lighting in the unit. Paul is a brilliant electrician, very professional, friendly and competitive. He has overseen all our electrical work since 2009! Thanks Paul Finally, thanks once again Richard for an exemplary service, and a feature that will always remind us of your outstanding craftsmanship! Staircase - February 2024 We recently decided we needed to upgrade our very tired staircase. We invited quotes from a variety of specialists across the UK and were staggered at the ridiculous cost for a maximum of 3 days’ work i.e. Neville Johnson £8,500! We had all but given up, but a chance conversation with some close friends suggested we visit, and look at their recent stair renovation, undertaken by Richard of RJ Joinery, Wakefield. Witnessing his craftmanship, alongside a glowing reference, we invited Richard to visit us and supply a quote. We met Richard a few days later, just before Christmas 2023, and were extremely impressed. All existing newel posts, caps, handrail, and supports were to be removed and replaced with genuine oiled oak, unlike a number of 'specialists' who were simply going to clad the existing 47-year-old inadequate staircase. In addition, the open stringer would be replaced with oiled oak veneer ply. Whilst the closed stringers would be clad with oiled oak veneer ply. Furthermore, to add a contemporary feel to the finished article, we decided to install glass panel infills with brushed steel clamps. Finally, the treads and risers would be repaired, and put an end to the squeaky ascent to the first floor! Richard had a busy schedule and confirmed he could start work at the beginning of February 2024, once our pre-arranged redecoration had concluded at the end of January 2024. His quote promptly arrived, and we were delighted to engage a true craftsman at a highly competitive price, and a fraction of what Neville Johnson had quoted! Richard is a perfectionist, thoroughly professional, diligent, punctual, and extremely polite - he loved our fresh coffee! Each day he arrived by 08:15 and left a clean and tidy house on his departure. The whole project was completed in 2.5 days, which is highly impressive. We cannot speak highly enough of Richard, and the results speak for themselves. The outstanding quality of finish and attention to detail went well beyond our expectations. The attached photos show the project from start to completion. Thank you Richard for delivering a first-class design and renovation on budget and within the agreed schedule! Nothing is too much trouble and he managed to satisfy me being a very picky and sometimes difficult customer! I've been looking at having some new front doors for a while and PC Kitchens & Joinery were highly recommended by a friend. I was not disappointed. The communication with Martin was polite and professional and he turned up on time on the day (something I've always found an issue with most other tradesmen). The new doors are fantastic and fitted to a very high standard with the existing doors taken away and the house left clean and tidy afterwards. I would definitely recommend that anyone considers Martin for kitchens, bathrooms, and joinery work and I have already had him around to measure and price up some new fitted wardrobes.

No words can express how we feel about what a fantastic job Chris has done. From start to finish, working with us to find out exactly what we wanted, and then explaining what he was doing each day every step of the way. It wasn’t a straight forward loft boarding job due to still having the old and very large water tank still up there but honestly it’s amazing what he has done. The transformation blows us away. Nothing was too much trouble, fixing and replacing things along the way that were not part of the job. Punctual, Tidy, Trustworthy, Superb quality of workmanship, and a real pleasure to have around.
