Paul was punctual, neat, considerate and thorough. He and his team of tradesmen have done wonders for our kitchen. We highly recommend Paul and will have no hesitation in using his services for future projects!

We are exceptionally grateful for the works undertaken by Paul at our property. Paul is definitely a quality craftsman with an eye for detail. Paul built a frame and erected new sliding doors for our recently installed ensuitean and installed new spindles, handrails and caps on our staircase. It was the little features like returns which was so impressive! Nothing appeared too much trouble for Paul with his aim to fully satisfy the customer. We have already commissioned Paul to undertake further works at our property. Paul more than justifies his 5* rating.

The following review is quite long and detailed, but it's worth a read since this time last year I had never met or heard of Paul and between then and now he completed a large project for me across the second half of 2024 and I could not be happier with his work! I bought a detached 3-bed house in May 2024 that was a real "fixer-upper", built in the 1980s. The plan was to start work ASAP, take 6 months or so to renovate the property and move in with my family by Christmas. There were many challenges along the way, but ultimately this happened on budget and on time and we were able to host our first Christmas in our new family home! This was achieved due to Paul's technical skills, project management ability, his incredible work ethic (absolute grafter), his punctuality and reliability, his loyalty (detailed below) and ultimately his sheer motivation to deliver quality and value to his customer. Paul quoted for the job which involved the following: * Fully gutting and renovating a 3 bed detached house (removing walls, replacing all floorboards etc) * A complex double garage conversion into living space, a utility room and bathroom * Fitting a new kitchen * another new bathroom and plenty more. Paul came highly recommended to me by my Electrician who also worked on the project. He is multi-skilled and can take on pretty much any task, but he is also an excellent project manager and delegator to skilled tradesmen. Throughout the project, Paul brought on board his trusted labourers as and when required, as well as a plumber, tiler, plasterer and some niche contractors too, all of whom I met and could see had a high level of skill and a solid work ethic. Paul also worked effectively with a kitchen design consultancy that I had brought on board due to the awkward shape and specific requirements. As with any project, there were plenty of challenges - some that were outside of our control and one or two due to frustrating attitudes from people I had brought on board who failed to live up to expectations (I will not name and shame, but I will not use again or recommend them). Paul stuck with me through a period of frustrating delays due to others and persevered through this challenging period of the project where others would simply have looked out for themselves and up and left. I was kept in the loop daily and we met on site once or twice most week when I could get there. I recommend Paul with zero hesitation for any large project or small job and I will certainly be using his services again!

Probably the most organised person I’ve met, knows exactly what’s happening and when. A delight to work with and did a massive kitchen transition first for us 2 years ago (this is a photo of the kitchen 2 years on) and then installed recently a beautiful fitted wardrobe. We love the result. Has a great team to help with the other bits too (particularly Alan and Mark). For the kitchen we were swapping our kitchen and dining rooms over. Had a lot of ‘old house’ hiccups along the way which he handled brilliantly. Highly, highly recommend.

Dave was excellent - he came to our house and provided expert insight/recommendations followed by a quote. Shortly after he refitted our kitchen cupboards and loft hatch to an extremely high standard at a competitive price. I would absolutely recommend him and use him again for carpenter services.

Nick is an honourable, conscientious and diligent tradesman who runs a family business. His passion, reliability and commitment was always evident. His warmth and work ethos made Nick a real pleasure to work with. Nick and his team erected a sipps panel garden studio for us. They secured the shell robustly to concrete foundations and ensured that it was well sealed. They installed doors, windows and cladding. The guttering was neatly and discreetly put together at the rear of the structure. Much like an artist, the finish of Nick's work appeared simply seamless. We commissioned Adam and his team to make a built in cupboard and some floating shelves for our living room. Our experience was good and the whole process from first speaking with Vicky to installation was less than 3 weeks. They were professional, friendly, timely and the carpentry was high quality. I'd be sure to contact them again for future jobs.

Jay recently built a cupboard in our stairwell void to encompass an air con unit and created a linen cupboard accessed from the landing. He understood exactly what was needed and did a fantastic job. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Great shop great choice

David has done a lovely job for us building new wardrobe doors and making shelves for our cupboard. He fitted new skirting and architrave around a free standing wardrobe making it look like a built in wardrobe. We love it!

We had an alcove cabinet and floating shelves built - very reasonable pricing and great quality. They look amazing and are exactly what we wanted. David was really friendly and also cleaned up everything after he had finished. Wouldn’t hesitate to call for future jobs and highly recommend!

David initially came round to fit some doors and did a great job I ended up getting him to do stud work on an extension too. He is very professional and his work is consistently good quality. Competitively priced and leaves everything clean and tidy. David is friendly and a pleasure to have around. Some complex studwork was handled with ease and to perfection, exactly as I needed. I would not hesitate to recommend and will be using again.
