Matt was really helpful with trying to diagnose the fault on our boiler, all sorted now. Elis from Home Comfort Assured is an outstanding Plumber. We had several complicated heating issues that Elis attended to and resolved quickly and efficiently. He took time to explain why various things had failed in our heating system and presented clear and understandable options on how to proceed. Not only is he an excellent and knowledgeable heating engineer, but he really cared about ensuring that we were happy with what he was doing, and he spent all the time that was necessary to resolve some complicated problems so that we were not left without hot water or heating. He stayed quite late to fix things but did not charge us for all his time, caring more about customer service than profit - so rare these days. He is my go-to plumber from now on, as I have not come across anyone better in over 40 years and I can recommend him highly to anyone who wants a great plumber/heating engineer that can be trusted to do a great job quickly and efficiently.

Elis has done a great job with a variety of plumbing jobs three times for us in St Albans. Fixing taps, installing a new gravity-fed shower, sorting a leaking external pipe - he's been great and we've always been pleased with his service. I've used this shop many times over the years privately and for my now-retired business. I used it again today where they saved me somewhere in the region of £80 by sorting a problem for me on a kitchen sink set of taps which couldn't be unscrewed. I've sent lots of people here over the years and I will continue to do so because their service is consistently so good. Can't recommend them enough.

Went in looking for a kitchen mixer tap. Staff were helpful, informed, had a good range to offer, and also suggested fittings that we would need. The one we selected was the last one so the man gave us a good price for it too. Very pleased - recommended. The have a small car park too so don't think you can't park in Whippendell Road to give them a try!

This shop is a real life saver as far as tools etc goes, I thought it was just a plumbing shop but on a recent visit while waiting to be served I took a look around and I was shocked to see the vast range of items they stock, not just plumbing stuff but tools for every occasion, a lot of things that I bought online when I could have just gone there and picked the thing up. Metal drill bits, for example, I ordered some and they have a wealth of diff bits in there. I'll be making this my first stop for all things DIY from now on, before I look online.
