What an absolutely fabulous shop. Alladins cave of hardware, Refill pantry, and all sorts. The lady serving was SO friendly and regaled us with the tales of the old furniture - WW2 ammunition boxes and a Rothschild dresser - and the stores history and 10 generation owned! We need to preserve this heritage!

Jason fitted a replacement shower and resealed our bath. Excellent job turned up bang on time and tidy job. Quote was very reasonable and although the fitting was more complicated than originally anticipated he did not charge extra for this. Highly recommended.

Rang zebra plumbing this morning as boiler had a flashing light . No heating or hot water. Phone picked up quickly problem explained. Within two hours boiler up and running Extreme weather conditions caused this issue. A very quick reasonable professional service given.

We called Matt and got a response right away, he was at our house within an hour and sorted our problem on a bank holiday Monday! He was there for an hour and explained everything to us. Very pleased to have found a trustworthy local plumber. Having just moved I needed an issue with the CH pump resolved and someone willing to talk me through the system I had just inherited. Matt identified a wiring fault and returned to rewire. He was also more than happy to take the time to explain my system to me and provide advice. Great communication and reliable.

Great service! Asked to deal with a leak we found on a Bank Holiday Monday, and he kept in touch and gave an arrival time. Found the leak and managed to stop any further damage being done. Charged a very fair call-out fee, and provided great advice on my options for what to do next. Very highly recommended!

I left a message and was immediately called back and put in touch with Jez. We discussed the problem and Jez juggled a few things to enable one of his colleagues to attend to deal with our emergency. Gary arrived and was able to offer invaluable advice and deal with one of the major issues. Further investigation revealed a bigger problem that involved having to contact Thames Water. Following on from this Jez has agreed to assist further with some more repair work. This is my first experience with this company and I am very impressed with the level of communication and professional service. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to others.

Fixed a gas leak. They were fully booked for 3 days, due to having no gas or hot water they squeezed us in and fixed the issued in under an hour. And GENUINELY within 90mins of me calling they had been and gone. Brilliant service. Will be saving their number for future use.

We are absolutely delighted with the job that Jay has done. I was able to get booked in within two days of calling and Jay arrived promptly and did a brilliant job within the hour replacing a sink unit in our en suite. I was recommended to call Acorn by a friend who is a plumber. I figured that if a plumber recommended them, they must be good! And they were. We needed a boiler service, during which Alex identified a couple of issues which needed attention. Instead of charging an arm and a leg to repair a fairly old boiler, they came up with some innovative solutions that saved us a tonne of cash and which were very effective. Acorn's responsiveness - when other plumbers wouldn't even answer their phones - was amazing (it was winter, the heating and hot water supply had stopped working - we needed a plumber quickly!) They also have great back office support - giving swift advice. Would highly recommend.

Acorn have serviced my boiler for a few years. My 15 year old boiler finally gave up so Lewis came today and installed a new boiler system. He was very thorough and professional and with the help of Killian had the system up and running again in no time and left my home clean and tidy. I needed a new boiler and got 3 quotes. Acorn were the cheapest by far. One factor was the kW of the boiler being lower than the other companies. After much discussion (Alex was knowledgeable and very patient). Went with Acorn who did a faultless install. This was last November. The boiler has functioned well and heated the house very adequately even though it is a lower kW. So a cheaper install and lower ongoing costs. Thanks to Acorn for a superb job!

We needed a new tap in the kitchen, the shower bar was up for replacement and the pipework under the kitchen sink needed to be replaced. We are very pleased with the results. The tap and shower are of good quality and the workmanship professional. We would certainly use them again.

I woke up to find our toilet leaking into the floor and Jamie found time in his busy day to get to us within 90 minutes. He replaced the faulty part, and upgraded others too. An excellent service and a great guy, would 100% recommend to anyone.

Jamie & co took on a painful and complex-looking whole-house refurbishment and recommissioning job, complete with two new boilers, all new rads, underfloor heating etc.. Not the cheapest quote, but a long way from being the most expensive. On time, efficient, did what he said he would do, great advice and excellent work. I’d hire him again in a heartbeat…

Was recommended Lee by a friend to fit a new boiler. He was very professional from start to finish and when he was finished left everything very tidy. Couldn’t recommend him enough and will definitely use him again for anything plumbing related.

Highly recommended gas safe engineer, competitive in price, reliable and very honest. Lee gave us great advice prior to carrying out the work to move our combi boiler to a more convenient location to make more space in our kitchen. Fantastic service
