Acorn have serviced my boiler for a few years. My 15 year old boiler finally gave up so Lewis came today and installed a new boiler system. He was very thorough and professional and with the help of Killian had the system up and running again in no time and left my home clean and tidy. Acorn plumbing have been our plumbers for over a decade since Alex fitted our new boiler over 13 years ago. The boiler has performed faultlessly since that time. Acorn plumbing have helped us countless times over the last decade. Most recently in the last few years, during the pandemic, when our water tank in the loft developed a crack and started leaking they moved heaven and earth to help us in what was very difficult circumstances. When we developed a leak in our kitchen roof, they were able to quickly trace the source and fix the problem. When we had a friend in her late 80’s came to stay with us after her pacemaker was fitted and our radiator in her room stopped working, Alex made time in a frantically busy day to repair the radiator. Most recently, when our heating stopped working, Catherine calmly talked us through what we needed to check and enabled us to swiftly figure out that the gas supply to our house had been switched off and we were able to immediately contact our gas supplier. In a world where it’s rare to be able to phone and speak to a real human who also has the resources to try and help you or point you the right direction they’re an absolute god-send. They turn up when they say they will, they’re clean, tidy, polite and a pleasure to have in the house. I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough. They are busy with good reason. All the locals and their customers know how good they are.

I needed a new boiler and got 3 quotes. Acorn were the cheapest by far. One factor was the kW of the boiler being lower than the other companies. After much discussion (Alex was knowledgeable and very patient). Went with Acorn who did a faultless install. This was last November. The boiler has functioned well and heated the house very adequately even though it is a lower kW. So a cheaper install and lower ongoing costs. Thanks to Acorn for a superb job!

What an absolutely fabulous shop. Alladins cave of hardware, Refill pantry, and all sorts. The lady serving was SO friendly and regaled us with the tales of the old furniture - WW2 ammunition boxes and a Rothschild dresser - and the stores history and 10 generation owned! We need to preserve this heritage!

Brilliant!!!!! I have used the same company for 20 years but they have sadly let me down. I have now found these guys who have restored my faith in workmen and fair charging. Not only that but really knowledgeable and neat work. I can not recommend them highly enough. I will definitely use them again…… well next week actually.

We needed a new tap in the kitchen, the shower bar was up for replacement and the pipework under the kitchen sink needed to be replaced. We are very pleased with the results. The tap and shower are of good quality and the workmanship professional. We would certainly use them again.

Jamie & co took on a painful and complex-looking whole-house refurbishment and recommissioning job, complete with two new boilers, all new rads, underfloor heating etc.. Not the cheapest quote, but a long way from being the most expensive. On time, efficient, did what he said he would do, great advice and excellent work. I’d hire him again in a heartbeat…

Rang zebra plumbing this morning as boiler had a flashing light . No heating or hot water. Phone picked up quickly problem explained. Within two hours boiler up and running Extreme weather conditions caused this issue. A very quick reasonable professional service given.

Jason fitted a replacement shower and resealed our bath. Excellent job turned up bang on time and tidy job. Quote was very reasonable and although the fitting was more complicated than originally anticipated he did not charge extra for this. Highly recommended.

Fixed a gas leak. They were fully booked for 3 days, due to having no gas or hot water they squeezed us in and fixed the issued in under an hour. And GENUINELY within 90mins of me calling they had been and gone. Brilliant service. Will be saving their number for future use.

Brilliant company. Had engineer called Petre come over to do my boiler service. Service was really prompt and great value. We also had an overall discussion about our boiler and stuff to make sure it was running smoothly going forward.

We used JR Plumbing & Heating Solutions recently and the works took approximately 2 weeks. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them! The whole team from the ladies in the office to the team who carried out the works made the whole process effortless. We are absolutely delighted with the job that Jay has done. I was able to get booked in within two days of calling and Jay arrived promptly and did a brilliant job within the hour replacing a sink unit in our en suite. Very pleased to have found a trustworthy local plumber. Having just moved I needed an issue with the CH pump resolved and someone willing to talk me through the system I had just inherited. Matt identified a wiring fault and returned to rewire. He was also more than happy to take the time to explain my system to me and provide advice. Great communication and reliable.
