I recently had to have my dog put to sleep. When I arrived at the vets, there was a notice and lit candle on reception to say if the candle is lit someone is upset as they are having there dog put to sleep. This is such a lovely thing to do. The vet and nurse were amazing, very sympathic.

We have taken our pets to WHVC for years. Recently they helped us to send our 20 year old pet baby to heaven; this is never easy, but Anna and her assistant were amazing, helping us through a very difficult time, and making it pain free and peaceful for our pet. We are very grateful indeed. They have always been professional and helpful throughout.

I called the surgery out of hours for an emergency regarding my dog and Jo was excellent assisting me followed by her colleague who removed a stuck toy from my dogs mouth. Kind, friendly and understanding. Highly impressed and greatly appreciative. Thank you!

The best veterinary surgery I have used, very glad I found them. They have taken amazing care of all my cats, some of which have some health problems and I could not be happier with springwell's care. Even through a time where i had to let one of them go due to illness, the staff showed such compassion from start to finish. You are all greatly appreciated by our community. After dealing with a major vet chain, Springwell is amazing. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Service is night and day to others. Take it from someone experienced, with multiple monthly vet visits over the past few years with several different practices.

Lovely & compassionate staff. We had to use them recently for our bulldog who’s experiencing some eye problems. The service we received here was amazing and you can tell how much they care for your animal. Such a wonderful practice. All staff are so welcoming and compassionate. We have had 2 dogs as ‘clients’ of theirs and you can tell they truly love animals. This is so important as they always have their best interests in mind in all that they do!

My precious Tyger was referred to Davies as there was a problem with one of his eyes and our own Vet had said the eye would probably be have to be removed 😞 We were treated with empathy and the staff were so caring and treated Tyger with such care and concern.The process for Tyger was explained from start to finish and concern was shown to myself too. Tyger had surgery and is now at home making a good recovery my heart felt thanks to all at Davies for the caring treatment of Tyger 😻

First class. I immediately felt complete confidence with the woman vet who treated my dog and, more importantly, he felt relaxed as he was being examined. I knew he was in safe hands. Stars off the scale.

We were extremely nervous, having not been to a referral vet before and having been with the same vet for a really long time. We shouldn't have worried at all. From only a few hours after our vet made the referral, we were offered an appointment as early as the next day. Staff were helpful and friendly, they were able to reassure us even though we were facing a potentially significant diagnosis for our cat. They were clear about the process and what the costs were likely to be initially, which gave us the opportunity to prepare before the appointment. At our appointment, Anna was just exceptional, she was so gentle and thorough when assessing our cat and her experience and expertise was clear. She went through the diagnosis (thankfully, in our case a less significant diagnosis than we had been referred as) carefully ensuring we understood treatment options and followup plan, as well as providing options for obtaining the medication we needed. The discharge letter was the most thorough I have ever seen (pet or human!). The fees are more expensive than your regular vet, but it obviously costs a huge amount to run such a specialised animal hospital. The initial consultation fee was more than our insurance would cover for specialist consultation fees, but the price was made clear to us at point of booking and we were able to plan accordingly. After the appointment, their team completed and submitted the insurance form promptly, which was appreciated. Since then, we've had regular contact with the vet that saw us, and when our regular vet needed some further advice, they were able to get it promptly from Davies - the aftercare has been exceptional and we have no hesitation in recommending them.

Excellent specialist centre with professional specialists. Detailed diagnosis given along with kindness and care to my pet Florence who is a very anxious little dog. Julian was very thorough, explained the procedure and diagnosis in detail, has followed up with us since leaving with advice and blood results. Highly recommend for complex animal health issues and specialised care.

Took the cat with some ear problems. Was dealt with brilliantly by the super friendly and efficient team. They managed the medicine so it didn’t cost too much (advised to go back next day when a smaller version that we need would be available). We mentioned that we are looking into getting a dog and the vet provided us with a fact sheet they had authored, which across 2 pages of printed A4 paper, I learned the most valuable lessons as a dog novice. I’ll include here because this is great advice that everyone should see. What a brilliant practice and amazing people! Thank you.

Took our 1 year old cat Newt here for his vaccines. The vet who did them was so lovely and friendly and really good with him (he is a nervous one!). Easy to book over the phone. This is my first experience of the vets as a new pet owner but was really easy and they were so good with him (and me)! Lovely staff and was seen for both our appointments promptly.

First class service. Super friendly staff and most importantly...you can be confident they will do their best for your dog...always.

Took our new puppy there after bringing him home at 8 weeks. Every interaction I have had with Hope Vets has been excellent. As a first time dog owner, the team at Hope Vets have been so helpful, and provided reassurance and guidance when needed. No question is too silly or unimportant to them. I can't underline how nice it is to be dealing with such people. Our pup is very young and was invited to Hope Vets free puppy socialisation classes. The format of the classes is quite informal, which makes for a nice and chilled atmosphere. Three sessions are provided, taking between 30-60 mins depending on the energy levels of the pups. This was an excellent opportunity to help our puppy get used to meeting other dogs in a safe environment. Gentle encouragement, toys and even some yummy treats were provided. It was also an opportunity to meet with owner puppy owners to exchange stories and advice. Quick shout out to Lizzy who was running the classes, we found them very useful! I cannot fault the facilities or services provided. Aside from the socialisation classes, our pup's first check up was also stress free and informative. On site you can find ample parking. Inside, it's also possible to browse a small selection of Kong toys, lickimats, and pet food. Prices are all reasonable.

Friendly and caring vets. Make you feel confident in the care provided and don't push treatments and tests that are not necessary as happened with our previous vet. Very happy with them.

These people can't be praised enough. The staff are all friendly and professional. The location is a bit out of the way but is a lovely setting. But most of all they are proper vets more concerned about the welfare of the animals above all else. I refuse to take my pets anywhere else. So should you.

I’ve been to a number of vets throughout the years and Hope have set the bar incredibly high. We recently relocated from the UK to Dubai with our chihuahua Kobe and they were incredibly caring & supportive throughout. We worked closely with Sara during the process and she is one in a million. I can't fault them. They managed to register and fit my cat in late on a Saturday afternoon before they went in to out of hours. The vet was wonderful and explained everything including payment and claims. Etta is now with them overnight after breaking a toe (of all things lol) and they have updated me as promised. I have been looking for a good vet since moving here not too long ago. We will be staying.

Outstanding care received today for our beagle Rosie from Ella. She was absolutely brilliant with her and listened to all our concerns and worked through them methodically. She handled Rosie with kindness and compassion but also knew when it was time to get the job done. Thank you Ella for your expertise and for also making the experience warm and heartfelt. We are truly grateful.

My cat Albus was very poorly & Village Vet worked tirelessly to diagnose & treat him. He was in their hospital all weekend & the vets (Jennifer D & Anna) kept me informed of his condition throughout the weekend, and they were compassionate & kind to me (as a very distressed pet owner!) I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this vet surgery

Both my pets (cat and a dog) go here, and is the only vets I've taken them to where they don't freak out, both are always very calm going and when in there. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

we've been to many vets in the past and Barton is by far the best. pedro and the nurses take lots of time and care of my 16yr old doggo to make sure she feels safe and never treats her as an object in a factory line. we will never go anywhere else - thank you!

Super helpful and friendly. I honestly can't see how anyone could care for your pet better, and they aren't wildly expensive either. If doctors were this good, we wouldn't have an NHS crisis

We love this surgery, they care for animals big and small, from operating on our tiny hamster to helping us take care of our rescue hound. A calming waiting area with separate spaces for cats and dogs put our dog at ease on his first visit. Medivet offer a great medical subscription package which we'll be signing up for and offer high quality food and toys for pets in store.

Fabulous service as always and Edward the vet is amazing at his care for my young kitten. He explains everything in an easy to understand way and really goes the extra mile. Thank you Aston Clinton Medivet team for being so helpful during this worrying and stressful week.

One of the very few places open on a Sunday that were able to help ease a rather difficult weekend by attending to a situation that was was tough. The vet that attended to us was a straight 10/10 and we are grateful for all her support. The centre looks to be a really nice setup and the staff appear to genuinely care of the animals.
