Took my mum's dog to Pauline's to have a cancerous mass removed from his gum. Pauline explained in enough detail the operation, what was expected recovery wise and what she achieved in removing the mass. I would definitely recommend Pauline, her caring attitude and ability to perform a complex assessment and treatment for Nemo.

The best vet we've ever had. Very respectful, gentle, knowledgeable and always happy to help, even over the phone. We moved 40 minutes away but still make the trip because no other vet comes close.

We've known Pauline for over 15 years and have seen her and her colleagues fairly regularly during that time. The kindness, care and skill over the years when looking after our cats - we couldn't have wished for more. Highly recommended.

Local vet whom we have used for 11 years, located in Stansted. Good quality service, easy parking. During Covid, arrive for your appointment , park then phone and someone will come out to collect your pet. In some ways better than before Covid as you don't have the waiting room "establishing territory" altercations. Pay over the phone again a good idea as this avoids contact. Would recommend.

They are always extremely compassionate and sympathetic when you have to say goodbye to one of your pets. No fuss about the bill, it is sent a few days afterwards.

Wouldn’t trust anyone else but Chris with my dog. The nicest guy that you can tell really honestly cares deeply about the dogs he is visiting. Makes it so easy that he is mobile and comes to you. Can’t recommend more.

We honestly cannot rate Chris highly enough. He has looked after our Pugs since they were puppies. Chris always takes his time with Alfie and is happy to answer any concerns you have. We trust Chris completely with our dog! Highly recommended 5*

I took in my 12 week old puppy for her 2nd lot of inoculations. The vet also gave my puppy a complete health check and explained any concerns I had. What was nice is that the vet just took her time, no hurrying.

I am honestly touched how wonderful this practice is. We felt so welcome since the moment we walked in. Complete oppossite to our previous vet. The surgeon Susanne was so lovely and caring. We couldn't be more grateful. You can tell people working here really love animals. Our Otis was leaving with a big smile.

Having tried a couple of practices and not been happy I moved all my pets over a year ago (Labrador, cat and tortoises) to Chestnut Vets. I am really happy with the service I have received. Particularly from Chris Snow. He is caring and has a brilliant way of explaining everything so you know all your options and can make an informed decision on a plan of action (when faced with difficult decisions.) All treatment recommended has been made with the best interest of the particular pet which has not always felt this way in the past. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Got recommended this vets by a friend and we have been so impressed by them. Have been with them for almost two years and I think you would struggle to find more caring and compassionate people who work there. Receptionists are always SO helpful and informative, you get welcomed with such warm smiles, any vet or nurse we have interacted with have been absolutely fantastic and they all genuinely love and care about all animals. Great experience for both our cat and ourselves. We were all a little nervous as it was our first time at the vets since we took over his care. All staff members were welcoming, warm and proficient. Would recommend without hesitation.

Our greyhound had many teeth taken out a month ago and my husband and I were so impressed with the level of care and professionalism shown towards our dog and ourselves. We only joined the practice last Summer and we have nothing but praise for all the staff we come across. The reception staff are always accommodating either over the phone or in person and when our dog had the operation we were so impressed with Chris and Chloe. So happy to have them.

I cannot recommend this vet practice enough.From the moment I contacted them regarding having my Springer 'Bailey Boo' PTS yesterday 10.4.25.The practice manager was so compassionate and understanding,the vet nurse present while he was PTS was absolutley amazing and so caring.The vet herself when above and beyond to explain what was going to happen,asked if she could start.I have nothing but praise for these guy's.Thankyou for making an upsetting experience into a calm,peaceful experience. Excellent Vets, my previous two dogs used to come here and my current dog does spanning 20 years now. All the Vets are very caring and kind but my Staffy adores Vet Chloe, so I always ask for her. Whoever answers the phone on reception is also very helpful and polite and all the Nurses are brilliant and caring.

The service was fantastic, the cost on the other hand in my opinion was high, £70 for the consultation and £46.74 for Isaderm gel (£12.99 online) all including VAT, was really expensive. Whilst I appreciate that as a business they need to make money, but………………..

This veterinary practice is excellent. Zoe is an extremely helpful vet and brilliant at her job. Could not be happier using this practice as I have a tricky dog that is looked after so well and has gradually gotten better through the professional help from those that work at Walton Lodge.

Excellent staff who show they love animals and very happy to answer questions. We appreciated their kindness when we had to have our cat Holly put to sleep and fully trust them with the care of our current two cats.

This was our first visit to Walton Lodge, we were greeted by the vet in reception. The vet was excellent, explained in detail all of our treatment options, we asked a lot of questions and never felt like we were taking up too much time. It can be a worry when you decide to change vet's but I'm glad we did, we now have a much happier dog.

Absolutely brilliant experience we took one of our cats there on a Sunday for an emergency appointment We cannot fault them the two staff members that we dealt with absolutely brilliant first class definitely recommend them, they have on-site parking too.

I’ve been using these guys for over 20 yrs and I would highly recommend them to anyone, they have looked after our horses, cats dogs and rabbits and they have always put the animal first not money. Great vets, friendly, helpful and full of information. I had tried several veterinary practices to get our many pets registered, this place did so quickly, easily and much cheaper than Pets at Home vets. There is customer parking behind the veterinary practice itself, you have to drive around the one way system past the gym and funerary service and the car park is there, in a walled area with large black metal gate. Really helpful as there are limited spaces to park in this area unless you pay! Also - I really liked the candle idea for families who have taken their pets to be euthanised- this shows just how much care this practice has for our animal companions.
