Really lovely vets here. We had been taking our dog here since we got him 7 years ago and being a Frenchie had no end of problems. They have always been superb and accommodating and not just there to take your money. The animals best interest really are at heart. The vet we usually saw left recently but saw a guy called Antonio who helped us immensely with kindness and compassion in the awful circumstances of having to have our beloved boy put to sleep. The reception staff are very busy but always helpful and polite and happy to help. I highly recommend Companion Care. Thank you all x

Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Our girl had difficulties delivering her pups and these were incredible. Sonia was the vet on hand and if it wasn’t for her expertise and being able to work under pressure, we would have lost the pups and who knows what our girl would have gone through. She kept her calm and informed us all the way through. I can’t think the team enough. And even on check up, Sonia couldn’t be more helpful!!! Thank you

These people can't be praised enough. The staff are all friendly and professional. The location is a bit out of the way but is a lovely setting. But most of all they are proper vets more concerned about the welfare of the animals above all else. I refuse to take my pets anywhere else. So should you.

Took our new puppy there after bringing him home at 8 weeks. Every interaction I have had with Hope Vets has been excellent. As a first time dog owner, the team at Hope Vets have been so helpful, and provided reassurance and guidance when needed. No question is too silly or unimportant to them. I can't underline how nice it is to be dealing with such people. Our pup is very young and was invited to Hope Vets free puppy socialisation classes. The format of the classes is quite informal, which makes for a nice and chilled atmosphere. Three sessions are provided, taking between 30-60 mins depending on the energy levels of the pups. This was an excellent opportunity to help our puppy get used to meeting other dogs in a safe environment. Gentle encouragement, toys and even some yummy treats were provided. It was also an opportunity to meet with owner puppy owners to exchange stories and advice. Quick shout out to Lizzy who was running the classes, we found them very useful! I cannot fault the facilities or services provided. Aside from the socialisation classes, our pup's first check up was also stress free and informative. On site you can find ample parking. Inside, it's also possible to browse a small selection of Kong toys, lickimats, and pet food. Prices are all reasonable.

Friendly and caring vets. Make you feel confident in the care provided and don't push treatments and tests that are not necessary as happened with our previous vet. Very happy with them.

I’ve been to a number of vets throughout the years and Hope have set the bar incredibly high. We recently relocated from the UK to Dubai with our chihuahua Kobe and they were incredibly caring & supportive throughout. We worked closely with Sara during the process and she is one in a million. The Avenue vet has a very sound aim to give satisfactory service for both pet and their owner. The staff are really supportive and attempt to gain the best possible outcome of treatment for the animal being treated, furthermore cared for. Excellent veterinary practice.

I have been using Avenues for about 20 years for all my pets. They are so kind and even my reactive dog is happy and doesn’t react to any of the staff. Always made to welcome and they have been really helpful with insurance claims. They genuinely care and have the best advice.

I went to Medivet after a bad experience at our local independent practice. I found Nicola and Kyumi and Nicola extremely helpful and understanding and the other members of staff also very helpful at a very distressing time. I would definitely recommend this practice to my family and friends.

Ever since we moved into the area with our little Jack Russell called Ronnie, everyone at Medivet have been absolutely phenomenal. From his 6-month check-ups to his quarterly flea and worming treatments as well as any ad-hoc/emergency visits we've needed them for. All the staff are absolutely incredible from helping us process pet insurance claims as well as ensuring that Ronnie is absolutely adored even though he'd prefer to be somewhere else!

Have been with them for about a year now but today my French bulldog had her tooth out and they were so thorough and have provided me with so much information! Thank you for making Binky feel safe and for reassuring myself!

Lovely & compassionate staff. We had to use them recently for our bulldog who’s experiencing some eye problems. Fantastic vets and nurses. Our beloved Labrador received excellent care when she suffered a spinal injury recently. She is doing very well thanks to their prompt care and referral to a specialist vet. They are all friendly and provide top quality care. 100% recommend.

Vet station vet was really good with my tuxy boy recently when he needed a little check up for some flea meds; she also administered a worming tablet - which is some feat as he can be a spicy boy! With this vet (our first time seeing her), the down the throat part was over in seconds and just left my boy swishing his tail a little 😺 Match 20th 2025: Update - Marissa the vet is always lovely and yesterday seeing her again with my Tuxy boy cat and how she so easily administers his worming tablet, was a pleasure to see! She always makes time for a chat and catch up plus to check on how my cat is doing after having had x9 teeth out last year! The Vet Station are friendly kind professional and do not try to charge ‘extras’. Best vets ever ~ thank you!"

I can thoroughly recommend this practice, which we have been using for four years with our cat. The reception staff are kind and helpful and the vet and vet nursing staff are caring and thorough. It feels like a small practice in the way that the staff get to know you and your pet. The range of services and payment plans they provide are useful, and the 24 hour vet service in Watford is also fantastic. Thank you.
