I'm an inexperienced dog owner. The vets and all staff have been very understanding of that. They've given great advice, been accommodating of appointments at short notice and just generally really helpful. They send reminders of appointments, are able to rearrange when circumstances change and the fees are reasonable. I'm very pleased I have my dog registered here. I feel she's well looked after. My only comment would be parking can be difficult!

Having overcharged me , I was pleased that the manager got in touch and rectified the problem. I thought this was very good conduct.

I took my 15 year old male cat yesterday 24 th August 2022 as a Emergency appointment due to him not being well for the last 30 hours. The receptionist was very helpful, polite and caring. I got a appointment very quickly saw the vet which done tests and injections on my cat explained everything which was wrong with my cat. You can tell all the staff that work here love and really care for the animals Expensive price's but worth the money.

We had to have our little Loki put to sleep and everyone was lovely. In the lead up to this the vets did everything they could to help him

I can't recommend Max & Min Vets highly enough. Our cat, Benji, suffered a severe stomach injury that required multiple procedures and treatments. Throughout the entire process, the vets, nurses, and support team were incredibly helpful, patient, and supportive. Their modern, welcoming, and calming surgery made a stressful situation much more manageable. We're so glad we made the switch from our previous, outdated, and overpriced veterinary practice. Thank you for taking such great care of Benji. In the nicest possible way, we hope not to need your services again anytime soon! 😊 He’s very happy to be home and cone free!

I feel I must write to share my experience in taking my very elderly cat to Max and Min Vets. First impressions were how lovely and helpful the girls on the reception were. Nothing seemed too much trouble and they were all very happy to help and accommodate. On my first visit, I was greeted by Ross who was extremely helpful and completely understood the problem I had with my cat. On my visit last night I met with Bonnie. She was very friendly and absolutely lovely. She is very knowledgeable and treated my cat with so much kindness as if he were her own. I cannot recommend Max & Min vets highly enough. They are an amazing team and I will never go anywhere else. Thank you so very much to you all.

Best vet I have ever been to. The staff are all so lovely, warm and compassionate. I joke about I wish I was a patient at this Veterinary practice because the standard of care and service is exceptional. What a find!! Fantastic practice which really does care. From the friendly and efficient reception team to the knowledgeable and helpful animal nurses and the fantastic vets who give time, compassion and actually listen to your concerns. I've only been with the practice a few short weeks but during this time my dog finally has a proper diagnosis, has had corrective surgery and medication routes are planned for other issues. It's been a stressful time but they have done everything to make it as smooth as possible, including handling the insurance claim thank you so much! Brilliant team!

Excellent specialist centre with professional specialists. Detailed diagnosis given along with kindness and care to my pet Florence who is a very anxious little dog. Julian was very thorough, explained the procedure and diagnosis in detail, has followed up with us since leaving with advice and blood results. Highly recommend for complex animal health issues and specialised care.

Genuinely blown away but this outstanding facility and all the lovely happy staff that work here. Our sausage was admitted for investigative work today and the love and support received for her was amazing. Our vet Sophie was remarkable. So kind and caring but clearly very knowledgeable and excellent at her job and able to relay information in a really understandable way. For the first time ever I had no problem leaving my little sausage as I knew in my heart she was going to be so loved and looked after and she definitely was. She’s a very anxious soul and she was unusually happy at this vets and not obviously shaking and anxious like she usually would be. The reception team were also fantastic and incredibly friendly. Will definitely be recommending to everyone!

First class. I immediately felt complete confidence with the woman vet who treated my dog and, more importantly, he felt relaxed as he was being examined. I knew he was in safe hands. Stars off the scale.

We were extremely nervous, having not been to a referral vet before and having been with the same vet for a really long time. We shouldn't have worried at all. From only a few hours after our vet made the referral, we were offered an appointment as early as the next day. Staff were helpful and friendly, they were able to reassure us even though we were facing a potentially significant diagnosis for our cat. They were clear about the process and what the costs were likely to be initially, which gave us the opportunity to prepare before the appointment. At our appointment, Anna was just exceptional, she was so gentle and thorough when assessing our cat and her experience and expertise was clear. She went through the diagnosis (thankfully, in our case a less significant diagnosis than we had been referred as) carefully ensuring we understood treatment options and followup plan, as well as providing options for obtaining the medication we needed. The discharge letter was the most thorough I have ever seen (pet or human!). The fees are more expensive than your regular vet, but it obviously costs a huge amount to run such a specialised animal hospital. The initial consultation fee was more than our insurance would cover for specialist consultation fees, but the price was made clear to us at point of booking and we were able to plan accordingly. After the appointment, their team completed and submitted the insurance form promptly, which was appreciated. Since then, we've had regular contact with the vet that saw us, and when our regular vet needed some further advice, they were able to get it promptly from Davies - the aftercare has been exceptional and we have no hesitation in recommending them.

Recently moved to Bengeo and had our first visit to Walton Lodge, very happy with our experience. Friendly, welcoming and felt in good hands.

I think Walton Lodge is a wonderful vet practice. I have always had great service here

I’m not one for writing reviews but I feel I need to on this occasion! Sanjay is an absolutely fantastic vet, he has treated my English Bulldog & my kitten. So very kind, caring, professional & very reasonably priced! I would definitely recommend Oak Vets!

I want to say a huge thank you. A vet who actually cares and takes his time to check and get to the root of the problem without costing the earth. I was told to bring my dog straight down when I told him her symptoms, he gave a full examination and explained everything that was happening with her, which turned out to be some internal bleeding. She is now back to normal health after just one visit. I have 3 dogs, if I ever need a vet again, this is where I'll be taking them. Thank you.

Absolutely brilliant! So lovely and friendly. Very patient and kind. No rushing - they want the best for your pet. My old dog had to have teeth removed and the team were amazing. Kept me informed and updated and my dog was so happy and calm, when normally she’s super nervous. Even showed my 4yo daughter where the dog slept and how to take her bandage off. So sweet, I’m very grateful. Definitely recommend, what a great experience. Thank you to the whole team.

Took my recently adopted stray cat in due to a fight where he got badly injured. They made an appointment quickly and the service was fantastic. They really cared and we didn't quite realize at first how bad it was. The after care was part of the original price and was brilliant. The prices are very competitive and lower then the chain vets around. All staff are very friendly and the facilities are very clean and modern. Both vets spent time explaining everything clearly. An excellent independent vet one of the best I used.

Big thank you to reception and to the vet who came out to my emergency when sadly I had to have my sheep euthanised. Both were calm, friendly and caring during a traumatic time for me. Would throughly recommend.

We were referred to Hammond Vets by the Royal Vet College after our pet chicken suffered a prolapse earlier this week. Although it was pretty obvious that nothing could be done to help her, I honestly think the same care would have been given if she were a prized racehorse. The compassion shown to my son (who hand reared her) was wonderful and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Lauren came out to check our pony after she had been lame for sometime. Her kindness and compassion towards Rosie was extremely reassuring. Her explanation was very straightforward and unhurried. Lauren cane up with various options for us to consider. We never felt pressured, just informed. I would certainly recommend her.

Excellent, we have used Hammonds vets on multiple occasions for many of our fury children. My elderly grandmother with mobility issues called me today extremely upset that her beloved elderly chihuahua was very unwell. They attended her home quickly and with great professionalism and compassion peacefully put her dog to sleep. Thank you so much for being so kind.

Honestly, the best vet I’ve ever dealt with, Mike and the nurse that came to the house to see our unwell Pug Bruno, They managed to have a look and give him the right treatment with lots of love and care, Bruno is a rescue dog and very nervous but he soon calmed down because they were both so lovely and treated him amazing. Now that we found three bears Vets, I would never go to anyone else, Five star treatment and five stars from us for them.♥️

Really happy with how Christina looked after my French bulldog during her lump removal, they provided a very good price compared to our old vets in Ware, sent an itemised bill afterwards, explained everything that was going to be done and got her done very quickly first thing in the morning so she was ready to come home by lunch. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and have switched to their vet practise for all our vet care. Thank you Christina!

We had to say goodbye to our 15 year old Jack-chi Lolly on Friday Dr Mike And Leighanne came out prompt on 10am they spoke with empathy and compassion knowing our little baby lolly was to be released from her misery of a congenital heart disease. Three Bears are amazing I wouldn’t use any one else they are true Animals lovers unlike these chain vets thank you Mike and leighanne for helped our lolly over the rainbow bridge x

I cannot recommend this vet practice enough.From the moment I contacted them regarding having my Springer 'Bailey Boo' PTS yesterday 10.4.25.The practice manager was so compassionate and understanding,the vet nurse present while he was PTS was absolutley amazing and so caring.The vet herself when above and beyond to explain what was going to happen,asked if she could start.I have nothing but praise for these guy's.Thankyou for making an upsetting experience into a calm,peaceful experience. Excellent Vets, my previous two dogs used to come here and my current dog does spanning 20 years now. All the Vets are very caring and kind but my Staffy adores Vet Chloe, so I always ask for her. Whoever answers the phone on reception is also very helpful and polite and all the Nurses are brilliant and caring.

Muttley first went to Good companions as a pup but after that never needed a vet. He was a beautiful cockerpoo. In his 12th year he became very poorly. It happened so fast and there was nothing that could be done. Chloe was amazing. Kind caring and professional. Chloe and Harriet came to us as we didn’t want Muttley to take his final sleep anywhere else but in his home. They were so kind and caring. We were given all the information we needed and were consulted every step of the way. Muttley went to sleep peacefully with us holding him. He wagged his tail till the end. Thank you for being so careful and loving to him. The footprint, fur, forget me not seeds you sent made me cry but we will treasure them❤️ Thank you x

I have been with this vets for over 30 years. As you can imagine I’ve had a number of dogs. I recently got a new puppy, after the death of my springer. I have never considered moving vets. All the staff are friendly, supportive and professional. I can honestly say, I would 100% recommend them.

I have visited veterinary practices over many parts of England. I have to say this practice is the most caring one I have ever been to. ALL the staff are friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. The staff, the nurses, the vets all take time to explain everything in such a kind and caring manner. Thank you so much for looking after Bonnie who wasn’t even remotely afraid to return for her check up. In fact she couldn’t wait to go through the door. I cannot recommend highly enough. This team is exceptional in the way they deal with customers and more importantly their pets. I have my three Labs cared for by Chris and his team. He has carried out 2 essential ops on my young Labrador and to the highest standards. I joined after a very bad experience from my previous vet and the quality of care I now get is fantastic.
