I had hired Truly Lush Events to serve the drinks and make cocktails for my daughter’s mehdni party. Keshia is amazing, right from our first interaction till the end of the party, she was professional, polite, helpful and always smiling. During all our numerous phone calls as I really didn’t know how to plan the party Keisha was always on hand with advice and reassurance. Together with Dashey they worked hard to make sure all our guests had a drink in their hand. Several of the guests commented on the great bar staff. I would highly recommend them

From the moment I spoke to Keshia the manager of this organisation ……I was hooked. Both my husband and I (who were trying to arrange a party) we’re hugely impressed by both her professionalism and knowledge. This impression has never wavered. The weeks leading up to the event were stressful but “Made so much less so” by Keshia’s calmness, patience, professionalism and communication. Nothing was ever too much, early morning or late at night …… to put my mind at rest. Regularly Keshia summarised what we had agreed either between us all or between professionals. She liaised and fed back to us on a regular basis. On the night Keshia and her team were superb. Approachable, fun but always professional. Serving, mingling with guests, organising and at the end if the evening clearing up. We had one or two bumps in the road, however these were not foreseeable or any fault of this company, but she has continued to support us and manage these issues. We hired a 4x4 marquee with floor and carpet, flower wall, lighting and Prosecco wall for my daughter’s birthday party. The Make Your Day Team was so helpful, professional and friendly. They came out first to assess where it would go and then came 2 days before the party to fully set up and test everything. They then took everything down a day after the party. Nothing was too much trouble and they spent time explaining everything and making sure the lighting cabling was hidden etc. They even bought the plastic flutes for the Prosecco wall - which will come in handy for our next party! Thank you to the team for doing a great job. It looked fab, we got some great pics with the flower wall backdrop and we had an amazing party! Wow wow wow! If there was an option to choose 10 stars, I would! Lucie was unbelievable and that’s an understatement! Our wedding took place at Chenies Manor in Buckinghamshire and Lucie knew her way around the venue, which meant we didn’t need to worry about anything. In the run up to the wedding, Lucie was patient and understood our every need without us having to explain in depth. She gave us the reassurance we needed, to know our day would be perfect! On our wedding day, she took control of everything and even our guests were so complimentary of her! I had forgotten to write my name cards for the seating plan and told Lucie. She asked for all the names and the next minute, she’s printed them all out and placed them in the seats - always one step ahead! I was very nervous as my bridal entrance was approaching, but Lucie’s calm nature and warm personality completely relaxed me. She sorted out the trail of my dress without me even realising and guided me as I began my walk down the aisle, without even being seen by the guests. Honestly, I cannot recommend Lucy enough, you’d be lucky to have her! Aside from a fantastic wedding coordinator, Lucy was just a joy to have at our wedding!

Lucie is amazing! We had Lucie as our on the day coordinator for our wedding in June 2024, and she was fab from start to finish. She is such a lovely person, and nothing is ever too much. She was so helpful, and just a joy to have around on our wedding day. In the run up to the wedding, Lucie was so organised and gave some really useful suggestions - particularly on timings, and ideas for various parts of our day. On the day, Lucie worked so hard to make everything run seamlessly, and our day was perfect because of that. I dread to think what she was dealing with behind the scenes whilst trying to keep us all on time and in the right place, but from our perspective everything was perfect and I know she worked so hard to make sure that was the case. From managing our suppliers, to driving my dog down to the church in my Dad's car(!!), and keeping my MC brother running to time, Lucie was beyond great, and our day would not have been the same (or as fantastic) without her. We were so lucky to have Lucie's help on our wedding day, and I can't recommend her enough. xx

Oh my goodness. Where to start! Daniel and I were recommended Lucy by Chenies Manor House in Bucks. We had grand plans, a lot of excitement, growing ambitions and a sand counter showing us exactly how quickly time was moving on. Our wedding was dry hire, but we had no ambitions for a crafting wedding . Neither my husband or I had the time or the desire to be up making table decorations into the night, every night. For those that do, you have my complete admiration! Dry hire sounds great, until you realise the enormous task ahead of not only selecting and engaging suppliers, but actually responding to what feels like endless emails- quite overwhelming. We set about working with Lucy to find some outstanding suppliers, many of which I have remained in contact with, simply because they became part of our team. The idea of creating a team of suppliers that feels like your own as a bride is truly wonderful. On our day and well before; the trust we had in each individual member was through the roof. It was our privilege to feel on that day, and in the days of the lead up, that we were all in it together. I don’t think many brides get to experience that. Lucy was at the forefront of building and supporting those supplier relationships. Lucy coordinated the comms with the supply team, ensuring they had everything they needed, nothing was over looked. From the arrangements of individual deliveries, to who would be steaming the table cloths EVERYTHING was in hand. The co-ordination of the day was carried out to an expert level. I can honestly say that the day went without a hitch which suggests one of two things: either everything went to plan (which in wedding terms is somewhat unusual) or perhaps not everything did go to plan, but in any event we were none the wiser. That is entirely credit to Lucy and the wider supplier team she coordinated on our behalf. The wedding fever began long before our wedding day. Lucy was there to help start the magic we still feel to this day. If you’re getting married, for heavens sake, get yourself a Lucy. All my love Holli xxx

Where do I start!!!!! The team went above and beyond for me and my husband on our wedding day! Not only were they literally my therapists at times during the process of creating my vision for our special day!(thank you for lending an ear Jo) Nothing was a problem! Dress it Yourself were fantastic from start to finish - communication was excellent and I loved the tables and chairs we hired for our wedding, at a great price. Some of the chairs we requested became unavailable shortly before our wedding but we were offered a nicer and more expensive alternative at the same price, which I was pleased with. My only slight disappointment was that the smaller decorations are kept in a different location to the larger furniture, so after paying £150 for delivery of the furniture, I would have had to pay another £150 for delivery of a few additional small items we wanted for decorative purposes - so I ended up buying these from elsewhere to sell on after. Overall though would definitely use again and recommend to others. Thank you!!

I had my wedding last weekend and honestly cannot recommend Dress It Yourself any higher! My wedding decor was everything I dreamed of and more! The first time I met Jo and went to the warehouse, I was blown away by the quality and choice of all they had. Jo was full of ideas and energy and I left feeling so excited! They were very quick to respond any time I emailed and i made quite a few last minute changes and nothing seemed to be a problem. On the day, I arrived to find that they had thought of everything! The tables were beautiful! The ceremony space was stunning! They had sorted all of the extra bits that I had bought (fans, kids packs, table plan, welcome signs etc) and it was all absolutely amazing! We had to use the same chairs for the ceremony as for the wedding breakfast and had planned to ask guests to bring their chairs back (it was about a 3 min walk across grass), but then the Dress It Yourself guys turned up with their van and moved them all for us. Don’t think twice, these guys are fantastic!

As a florist, Dress it Yourself is an absolute must for anything unusual or quirky that your bride may request, or just extra vases that you have no room to store - they have everything from vases, all sizes, Perspex columns, foliage pillars, if you haven’t got it they will!! - And they are the most dedicated, knowledgeable, friendly and kind people-their team work above and beyond to ensure you have the equipment you need for every event! PERFECT. The food was fresh and tasted great. We arranged for the items to be delivered while we were at my Mum's Life Celebration Ceremony. They delivered the food and prepared it all for us ready for our return. There was so much food and it was of great quality. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Thank you Roger & team. We booked The Chefs Table for our wedding day in June at the Gardens at Polehanger - Roger had been highly recommended. We really appreciated the great communication with Roger via email and phone when requesting quotes and different options for our day. We knew we wanted a delicious, relaxed, informal wedding breakfast and we had just that! We decided on a BBQ wedding breakfast, which included 3 protein options and 5 side salads (all crockery, cutlery and service included). Our guests absolutely raved about the food which is such a compliment when it’s an important part of a wedding day. The staff were super attentive, food was at the tables fast and they moved any empty plates and bowls to keep tables clear. We also opted for the Wood Fired Pizza Bar for our evening food - the pizzas were enjoyed by all guests. We were so grateful for you effortlessly catering for our guests with specific dietary requirements too - it put us at ease. We hope we have another event where we can book Roger and his team again. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!!! Roger and his team were absolutely amazing from start to finish. After we were introduced to Roger, he was very prompt in arranging a tasting session. Everything tasted amazing! In fact we stopped rating each meal because each meal was incredible! The food on the wedding day was sensational. All our guests have been raving about the food even till this day! Not only did Roger and his team provide an amazing food service, they effectively managed the entire day! And solved any problems we encountered outside food. They interacted with all our guests, and was such a pleasure to work with. Nothing was too much for this team! They even suggested things my husband and I had not thought of to ensure the day went completely smooth. We cannot thank them enough. They were amazing and the ultimate standout of the day!

We recently got married in Place House Hall. Ann and her team were a pleasure to work with. Her quick, calm and efficient communication was always generous, clear and informative. The hall looked stunning and our day went very smoothly. We had fizz served in the garden and hall after the ceremony. It is a charming, relaxed and intimate place.
