Lovely course, recommend a visit. Barely a flat lie all round, one suspect hole, maybe 14th. Lunch food was really nice too.

We had a brilliant experience and it was the best decision to hold our daughter’s wedding reception at Whitehills. Amanda and the team were amazing, attentive, organised & made the day completely stress free for us all. The room, the setting, service, planning were all perfect and very reasonably priced. The DJ they recommend (Wayn)was the best, he played exactly what we asked & the dance floor was full from start to finish. Highly recommend it for any function. Bob and Gael

A hidden gem of a golf course. I played Whitehill as part of a society day. On arrival it looks as though you are driving into very well maintained converted farm. However, you soon discover on the parking area that there is a small well functioning range and that the buildings themselves are focused mainly towards the golf course, which I guess is as it should be. The pro shop staff were very welcoming and there was a good selection of beer and beverages available from the bar. I didn't have any food however the guys playing with me spoke highly of what they had ordered as snacks. Sitting down on the patio area by the practice green, you could see that the area was of a really high quality with some great brakes on the practice slope. The green looked as though it had been very well manicured and upon using it prior to my round found it gave a very even and consistent role, I was highly impressed. The course itself is a meandering parkland course and is very well situated with some slopes and hills that offer a real challenge. The fairways are tree lined with a lot of mature trees so the course had obviously been there for a while. The fairways were well cut and the rough was generally speaking fairly favourable. The second cut off the fairway was to a couple of inches and whilst it would trap the ball it did not mean that you lost many balls as part of your round. The greens were like the practice area and gave a fantastic roll with some lovely looking approach shots to them. The only real challenge was playing a number of blind tee / approach shots and having to use the well placed marker posts in order to find your line However a lovely detail for the course was that on every hole was a picture board with the layout of the hole you were playing with a separate picture showing the green and an indication of where the slopes were. The only thing the boards lacked were distance marker points on the picture but then that might make things a little too easy. The course had ball washers and bins at every tee which is something that I find has been withdrawn more and more from other courses and is something that I like. The 14th hole when i played was undergoing maintenance to the tees and was being played as a par 3 from halfway down the fairway but there was still a marker board giving the distance to the green. Having looked at the green fees on their website they are currently under £45 for a midweek prime time round which for the course is great value. I really enjoyed my round there and it is definitely a course i would recommend and visit again. Well done folks.

I went for a mendi party. Place was easy to find, and there was plenty of parking available. Light food and drinks were served in the various function rooms.

Had a fantastic time playing the High Course. The fairways and greens were in decent condition and the pace of play was smooth. Big thanks to Ben who went above and beyond - my last minute booking was handled efficiently and he also gave me a tour of the beautiful clubhouse. Looking forward to coming back to play the West Course next time.

We celebrated a work do here, and it was truly unforgettable. The manicured grounds are nothing short of spectacular—perfect for photos or a leisurely stroll between events. Inside, the interior is elegant and thoughtfully designed, striking the ideal balance between grandeur and warmth. And the food was simply outstanding: each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Overall, Moor Park delivered an exceptional experience from start to finish.

Course is in great condition at the moment. It's a long walk, but some nice holes. Service in the bar can be a bit hit and miss.

Great Golf Treat The course was in good conditions considering the time of year, a bit boggy in-between the holes but in general the fairways were well drained, the real treat were the greens, very receptive and rolled true. I will definitely be back in the summertime as the layout looked fantastic.

Very nice well kept course. A bit of a walk between some holes. Good Pro shop well stocked with all types of golf accessories. Friendly staff throughout and although went for the golf are now planning a stay at the very lavish Marriott Hotel and Spa attached. Beware breakfast stops at 11am and main menu starts at 12 midday. Leaving an hour when only bacon or sausage baps available. Good menus if you time it right 😊. Changing rooms and shower area bit small but looks nice and very nicely kept. Towels provided. Defiantly playing here again and timing the breakfast better!

We recently held a lunch party here with the carvery, fantastic food and service. All our guests loved it.

We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary at Aldwickbury Golf Club last week. The room was a good size for our group of 28 people. The seating was comfortable and the tables laid beautifully. The organisation from the time when we first made an enquiry to the day of the event was excellent. The three course meal was delicious. The staff were welcoming and the service was excellent. We would thoroughly recommend Aldwickbury for a party of this kind.

Had my 60th birthday celebrations here, and it was an unforgettable experience. Facilities and food excellent, the staff attentive without being intrusive. Would happily have another landmark occasion here!

Fantastic food and service today. Table of 7 celebrating Mother's day. Venue is lovely, great setting and great suite layout and decor. Table layout was fab, with gifts for the Mums etc. We will be back :) Staff very friendly and attentive. No rush to vacate. Fantastic time all round. Well done to everyone.

Clearly a course that is going through a lot of changes right now, huge bunkering project that is half way done. You can see some of the ones that have been done and they look immense. Front 9 is relatively straight forward with a few good scoring opportunities, back 9 becomes a bit tougher and more strategic. Would love to come back in summer and see it in full bloom

Nice course with very challenging greens! Tee boxes and fairways were in great condition. Every hole was different and unique, there was only one bland hole. Greens needed a little TLC. Club house was nice and the food was great.

Brilliant course, best in the region. Really friendly staff. Greg Smith made me feel very welcome in the pro shop and always seems keen to be helpful. Great greens, which seem to improve every year I go.

This is a mature and well maintained course. It's a good challenge for most players. The pro-shop is well stocked and the staff here are most helpful. The club house has good changing facilities on the ground floor and a smart bar and restaurant can be found on the first floor. The restaurant has a large balcony/terrace overlooking the course, giving users a most pleasant experience whilst they dine. There is a large car park and easy access directly off the A10.

We held a small family party (low key) at Brickendon Grange. It is a lovely building in well kept grounds. The staff were very efficient and attentive. They decorated the table for us beautifully and clearly had spent some time doing this. We were in the Oak Room, which was very suitable for 19 of us to be seated comfortably. The food was lovely (vegetarians catered for). Cannot fault it .

I played this course as part of an away fixture. The first time that I've played the course and was really pleasantly surprised. The club house is an extended manor house with a very modern dining and patio area behind the main entrance. The practice area is pretty good with separate nets, putting green, chipping area and grass range. The only down side was, that because it is corporate owned i presume, that there was a function going on which meant the place was packed and we had to park adjacent to the grass range, leaving numerous cars in danger of an errant golf ball from there. The course itself is a tree lined parkland course with some really nice holes. There is enough elevation throughout the course to make for some great views but it does mean that you are playing a couple of blind approach shots. The course was in great condition. The fairways had really good coverage, the greens were of a good standard with a consistent roll and had enough slope on them to make for some challenging putts. The trees around the course provide some testing drives but with plenty of space further out for longer hitters. A couple of nice dog leg holes require accurate tee shots with challenging approaches. The final hole is a good looking par 3 up hill, with a view into the patio area. The members were friendly and the food was good. There were parts of the course that were still a little damp but there is a fair amount of water in the way of pond or streams to add further challenges into your round so not that surprising. Overall well worth a visit but it definitely should be played off the back tees to get the most out of your time there.

We used Brickendon Grange Golf Club for my dad’s 90th birthday party. It was fabulous! The room was light and airy with lovely views, the hot fork buffet was delicious and all the staff were really helpful. Parking was easy too. Everyone said what a lovely time they’d had.

Very nice golf , perfect green, nice pro-shop.

I was really quite surprised with the location of this course. I traveled through a really busy Watford town center, turned a couple of corners and then find the course tucked behind a residential estate. However having arrived at the clubhouse it feels miles from anywhere, and was really quiet to play on. The club house was really clean and well maintained. Following the path around behind the club towards the pro shop and first tee you pass a really expansive putting green and a smaller chipping area. I played using a discount voucher so thought it great value but I'm not sure if the standard pay and play fee is such a good deal. I arrived a bit late so didn't have time to use the practice range but managed to hit a few balls in the practice nets before having a quick putt. The putting green gave a good indication of the greens in general and although they were a bit slower than I'm used to they were true with and in good condition providing a consistent roll. The course itself is a friendly parkland course with pretty much all the holes playing as you see them with not too many challenges. The whole course is tree lined with some scrub in places causing the odd lost ball. The fairways are actually all pretty wide and were in a great condition (and just for a change i managed to hit most of them!). As for the greens they were all fairly friendly with not too many challenging pin placements or horrible breaks to contend with. The best hole for me was the short par 4 8th which runs down hill towards a dip on the left with trees on the right. Not being a big hitter it gave me a nice lay up approach wood for a pitch onto the green. The only hole to let the course down was the 16th which is a par 3 playing a blind shot down to a cratered green over a well placed marker. It has a very generous landing area and despite having shot my approach well right of target, I was still left with a greenside pitch onto the putting surface having expected to be in the rough. Overall a very nice course not overly challenging. Probably the best thing was at the end of the day having finished and being able to see the members and juniors making the most of the practice area. Clearly a family friendly club with good facilities and a course that would suit most golfers and as of this moment in great condition.

A fantastic course. Impeccable greens, well kept fairways with decent tees, plus nice sand in the bunkers. A nice setup for all the holes with good challenges, but nothing too difficult. So great for most level of golfers. I wouldn't recommend getting buggies though as they must remain on the cart path. In some ways that's good as it keeps the fairways in good nick, however, there can be more walking and time spent to get the right club. The service was brilliant from conversations with Tom who dealt with all my groups needs and making it perfect for the day, with Alice who looked after all of us brilliantly. There was a lot of nice little touches - with individual gold name tags for our bags, a lovely pouch with The Grove tees and pitch repair. Alice made sure my cakes were cut up and ready at the halfway house before hole 10, and took a load of nice pictures of us on the first tee. Really impressed with the overall experience with a big Thank You to Tom and Alice who made my 50th really unforgettable.

One of the best kept course I have visited and played. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the entire course was fantastic. The greens were perfect, the rough wasn’t too rough and the fairways in better condition than a lot of other courses putting greens! Sausage bap was top notch as well. Highly recommend

Nice open course, not too difficult, greens are fast, course is beautifully kept. Not too many hazards, and generally open fairways. Great facilities at the club. Very expensive to play though

It's a must. The staff were fantastic the reception I got was out of this world from start to finish. Other than the 22 mile per hour winds we had to play in. The course was fantastic. Also after your game. They're clean your clubs shoes. Various other things it was just amazing. Thank you to the Grove and all the staff it was amazing experience. And we'll definitely. Will be coming. again.

Ran a society day, from start to finish from Ben and the team were amazing and so accommodating. Food was amazing (steak and ale pie) as was the course and hospitality. Would 100% recommend to Societies

Played there today as part of an organisers day. Played many times before but this day was outstanding. Couldn’t have been welcomed more and nothing was too much trouble. The course was in excellent condition considering we’d have days of rain. It’s a challenging play and enough to keep you interested. The staff looked after us exceedingly well (especially Ben) from start to end, whereby we had a delicious dinner to finish. Very positive experience. Give it a go 👍🏻

Had a wonderful experience at Redbourn on Saturday having not been there for years. The range is amazing now! The guys in the shop were so kind and lent my 5 year old some clubs to use. Paula in the resteraunt still there and lovely as I remember! I can’t wait to return a lot more regularly!
