Great charity event host. Course in great condition.

This is a mature and well maintained course. It's a good challenge for most players. The pro-shop is well stocked and the staff here are most helpful. The club house has good changing facilities on the ground floor and a smart bar and restaurant can be found on the first floor. The restaurant has a large balcony/terrace overlooking the course, giving users a most pleasant experience whilst they dine. There is a large car park and easy access directly off the A10.

Brilliant course, best in the region. Really friendly staff. Greg Smith made me feel very welcome in the pro shop and always seems keen to be helpful. Great greens, which seem to improve every year I go.

We played here on a day when it rained until 11am. The 18th green was mostly a large puddle at 10.30 and yet when we teed off at 12.30 everything was decently playable. Amazing drainage! The course is one of the best in the area. Food and service are great too. Well worth a visit.

Played in the Mixed Foursomes event for the second time. The course is in great condition and the club's hospitality and food outstanding. Hope to be back next year.

Magnificent fairways and greens. Picturesque location. Great hospitality. Just go and enjoy yourself. The view as you tee off the 18th is stunning, just aim for the steeple.

Only came here for an evening event rather than golf. Very good venue Staff were really friendly and bar prices decent. £4 a pint.

Very good practice facilities and nice quality course. Some short par 5s and some tight fairways. Friendly staff and good value for money especially with county card.

A lovely course. Great facilities and shop. Slightly noisy due to being under the flightpath, and next to M11 in parts. "Old guard" members not the most welcoming on occasion.

We went to the restaurant for Mother’s Day as a family, what a great experience- good food (great portion sizes!), good live singer and all at a fantastic price. We’ve had quite a stressful time as a family of late, this was a perfect day for us all. Thank you.

It was a pleasure to play this course at this time of year. Considering the weather that we have had over the last couple of months the course is in excellent condition. My compliments to all the green keeping staff as I spoke to them while playing were very helpful and extremely polite as was the starter and in house staff they made it a very enjoyable day.

What a fantastic course, challenging and unforgiving in parts. But with a few easier holes dotted around. I will 100% be back.

Enjoyed a round of golf here, the grounds are very well kept and the people are very friendly. There is a nice shop, driving range and practice green. With a 19th hole at the end it’s a great value for money! Recommended

First time at the club today. Taken here by my 82 year old neighbour, who is a member here. Ain't played for 20 years lol Tried driving range, putting green, was welcomed by, professional, friendly staff, had a cup of tea at the bar, watched Olympics, lovely place to be. Definitely going back, will review food and try a round of golf ⛳️ Easy parking, disabled access, beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend so far, update ASAP.

The Hertfordshire is a course set around a converted country estate and for which from speaking to members some course changes are in the plans. It has a driving range and practice putting area with some nice slopes across the putting green to test your green reading. It is reasonably well maintained with some very pleasant looking holes playing across water. The biggest challenge however is its tests of driving accuracy being cut amongst some very well established tree lines giving what appears to be from the tee, some very tight angles. When i played it, it was in good condition even though i understand that the club has recently lost its head green keeper. The fairways had good coverage and the greens were consistent which as a weekend golfer is all I'm really after. There doesn't appear to be much in the way of fairway sprinklers though as when i played it was drying out as can be seen in the pictures. It does look a bit tatty around some of the tees as there were no tee or rubbish bins meaning that there were a lot of broken tees lying around. Also there were no ball washers which to my mind shows a more corporate rather than golfer friendly mindset. However this didn't affect the playability of the course and some of my balls enjoyed a good soaking in the water hazards anyway. Whilst I really liked the aesthetics of the course it is quite challenging hence the slope rating with very tight drives and punishing rough. It's a course I'd very happily play again which is ultimately all that matters.

So, it was the venue we used for a surprise party for a childhood friend. The venue was recommended by one of us who had visited before and enjoyed her experience there. Initially getting to book the room, tie down the date and time as well as make payment was a little struggle. They were unavailable to answer our queries due to staffing issues. At the time, someone was off sick and they were short-staffed. Once this was resolved it was smooth sailing all the way. We booked the date, time, room, and then made payments. Got confirmation of the booking. Sorted out the menu options for our guests, the layout of the room and decorations and colour scheme and that was it really! We did not need to do anything they took care of it. On the day, we arrived to see a beautifully decorated room. The staff went over and beyond our expectations. They were courteous and professional, and so helpful, we were all blown away! The surprise was a success and we had so much fun! The end was lovely. They cleared up after us and helped us pack our stuff into the cars. My friends and I were impressed with the exceptional service we received. The food was so lovely, we all enjoyed it. Even though we were running late,(it was difficult to get the celebrant out of the house 😅) the chef and staff were very understanding and accommodating. The meal time was pushed back 30 minutes and then forward 15 minutes because of the surprise time and the celebrant! They accommodated us effortlessly! Amazing 👏 service. I have a wedding planner friend whom I will be bringing back to this venue so she can add them to her list of lovely venues for parties and weddings in London. Thank you to all the team who worked brilliantly to make our friend's 50th birthday surprise party memorable. We are so grateful to have used this place. I am definitely going back there again!

This was my 2nd time booking venue room for function and Jo and her team were amazing. Everything from start to finish was on point the food was sooo good (we had the platinum buffet) and they were able to meet everyone's dietary requirements as well as making me a chocolate brownie tower as my 40th birthday cake. Staff were attentive, had the room beautifully decorated and ensured guests were happy

We visited at 8am on a Sunday morning and until the last hole there was no one else there. It was a great crazy-golf course. It was tidy and didn't feel tired or dated.

We organised a Christmas Lunch at the Stansted Golf World. We were very pleased to choose such an elegant place and lovely staff. We were very well attended by everyone. We chose the buffet and unlimited golf balls to play after lunch. If you are considering going somewhere, you have to go there. You won't regret it. You will love it. Thank you guys for hosting us.

What a gem of a golf course. The course is well maintained with a good variety of holes. Perfect for the long hitter, the course makes good use of the vast amount of undulating land it is situated on. It has very wide accommodating fairways, some water hazards, mature trees and rustic bunkers. There is a quaint clubhouse with clean and well-kept facilities. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and with a weekday green fee of £20 it is difficult for me to remember a better package. For what was us chancing our arm at getting a tee off with no booking, we feel that we have stumbled upon a real diamond in the rough.
