Had my 60th birthday celebrations here, and it was an unforgettable experience. Facilities and food excellent, the staff attentive without being intrusive. Would happily have another landmark occasion here!

We recently held a lunch party here with the carvery, fantastic food and service. All our guests loved it.

We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary at Aldwickbury Golf Club last week. The room was a good size for our group of 28 people. The seating was comfortable and the tables laid beautifully. The organisation from the time when we first made an enquiry to the day of the event was excellent. The three course meal was delicious. The staff were welcoming and the service was excellent. We would thoroughly recommend Aldwickbury for a party of this kind.

Attended a Wedding Fayre. Offered a set of 4 packages to choose from. Event planner was knowledgeable, professional and helpful. Grounds looked nice and well kept. Good choice of areas on site for wedding photos. Location is quite remote, but fairly easy to find.

Amazing little golf course, better condition greens than some 18 hole courses. As for the 10th hole it is absolutely fantastic, smash burger and chips it’s a 10 out of 10, pizza 9,3/4 out of 10, chicken wrap gets a 9. Just got to have Bacon and maple pancakes and the ice cream and toffee sauce ones. Also 9 hole bacon roll and a pint =£20, Footgolf and Discgolf as well on site Well worth a visit

Great little golf club, went a couple Sundays back and the owner was kind enough to give us some free pizza. Well kept, fun course

Had some fantastic pizzas in the sunshine today. Sat in peaceful surroundings. Available Wednesday to Sunday. Highly recommend this local gem.

First time playing since new ownership. Really friendly reception and the great addition of a bar. It’s a great course for a relaxed round of golf at a reasonable price. A good range of food is offered in the cafe.

My first time at the Shire. Super helpful and friendly at the Pro Shop. Really enjoyed playing the Masters Course - great design by Seve! So pleased to have discovered this nearby gem. Will certainly be back soon. Thank you.

Challenging course for the first 6 holes with plenty of water to break your heart 😜.... Picturesque, but currently some of the greens are no better than an average public course 😔 Wonderful people and a great atmosphere about the clubhouse with good facilities and food.

Great course. Very challenging with lots of water hazards and narrow fairways. Make sure you have a good few extra balls! Greens are superb whole course is very well looked after. Club house is very nice and modern. Good selection of beers and spirits. Good choice of food, very nice and well presented. Definitely be playing here again.

Great course for all playing abilities. It’s well run and the course is always in great condition. Played as a junior member and still come back to visit and play.

Lovely course. Very well kept fairways beautifully manicured. Greens are fantastic, well looked after and run true. Lovely scenery as you make your way round the course. Quite hilly but lots of buggies on offer. Very friendly and helpful staff in the pro shop. Bar staff are very welcoming, a good choice of beers and spirits. Decent food menue. Looking forward to coming back again in the near future.

Great course! Good layout. Except the 3rd hole maybe. Half way house was very reasonable and good quality. Had a good time!

We booked in here today for the Easter Roast ( 5 adults and 3 babies) and we all agreed it was the best roast dinner we've had out for a very long time. Not only was the food outstanding, the friendly service, the setting and value for money was exceptional. Thank you so much for our Easter Chocolates. We will be going back soon and can highly recommend this restaurant.

Ran a society day, from start to finish from Ben and the team were amazing and so accommodating. Food was amazing (steak and ale pie) as was the course and hospitality. Would 100% recommend to Societies

Had a wonderful experience at Redbourn on Saturday having not been there for years. The range is amazing now! The guys in the shop were so kind and lent my 5 year old some clubs to use. Paula in the resteraunt still there and lovely as I remember! I can’t wait to return a lot more regularly!

I went for a mendi party. Place was easy to find, and there was plenty of parking available. Light food and drinks were served in the various function rooms.

We celebrated a work do here, and it was truly unforgettable. The manicured grounds are nothing short of spectacular—perfect for photos or a leisurely stroll between events. Inside, the interior is elegant and thoughtfully designed, striking the ideal balance between grandeur and warmth. And the food was simply outstanding: each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Overall, Moor Park delivered an exceptional experience from start to finish.

We were delighted to capture a wedding at the stunning Moor Park recently and in terms of wedding venues in and around London, this is the place to get married. Had a fantastic time playing the High Course. The fairways and greens were in decent condition and the pace of play was smooth. Big thanks to Ben who went above and beyond - my last minute booking was handled efficiently and he also gave me a tour of the beautiful clubhouse. Looking forward to coming back to play the West Course next time.

Went to the lady's night. What a fantastic meal and the entertainment was brilliant. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful evening.

I was really quite surprised with the location of this course. I traveled through a really busy Watford town center, turned a couple of corners and then find the course tucked behind a residential estate. However having arrived at the clubhouse it feels miles from anywhere, and was really quiet to play on. The club house was really clean and well maintained. Following the path around behind the club towards the pro shop and first tee you pass a really expansive putting green and a smaller chipping area. I played using a discount voucher so thought it great value but I'm not sure if the standard pay and play fee is such a good deal. I arrived a bit late so didn't have time to use the practice range but managed to hit a few balls in the practice nets before having a quick putt. The putting green gave a good indication of the greens in general and although they were a bit slower than I'm used to they were true with and in good condition providing a consistent roll. The course itself is a friendly parkland course with pretty much all the holes playing as you see them with not too many challenges. The whole course is tree lined with some scrub in places causing the odd lost ball. The fairways are actually all pretty wide and were in a great condition (and just for a change i managed to hit most of them!). As for the greens they were all fairly friendly with not too many challenging pin placements or horrible breaks to contend with. The best hole for me was the short par 4 8th which runs down hill towards a dip on the left with trees on the right. Not being a big hitter it gave me a nice lay up approach wood for a pitch onto the green. The only hole to let the course down was the 16th which is a par 3 playing a blind shot down to a cratered green over a well placed marker. It has a very generous landing area and despite having shot my approach well right of target, I was still left with a greenside pitch onto the putting surface having expected to be in the rough. Overall a very nice course not overly challenging. Probably the best thing was at the end of the day having finished and being able to see the members and juniors making the most of the practice area. Clearly a family friendly club with good facilities and a course that would suit most golfers and as of this moment in great condition.

Outstanding Food & Service : Wedding : Porters Park Golf Club was the venue for our daughters wedding. Absolutely 5* service, food, staff, bar, venue. We're still getting comments from guests about the food and staff. Amazing venue for a wedding or other function. Would recommend to everyone. Massive thank you to everyone for an outstanding event.

Truly lovely course, the staff are extremely friendly and kind. The food is very good and so are the drinks. Nothing is too expensive and they are good prices. I would highly recommend it to people that want to join a new golf club.

It is a beautiful course that is challenging with many tree lined holes. The greens are excellent. Highly recommend a visit.

Another Foxes league match against Brookmans Park Golf Club, we lost the match 3 - 1. A traditional club lots of nostalgia everywhere in the club house, our hosts welcomed us to their club in a really friendly way. It's a parkland course with several long challenging par 4's, 5 x par 3's and 4 x par 5's, from the white tees it measures 6,487 yards. All tee boxes, greens and fairways are good quality playing surfaces. Today it played a bit longer as the ground was dead from recent wet weather, so it was a bit tough. Afterwards at the meal we had a Yorkshire pudding filled with roasted veg, mash and sausages, check out the picture of the food, delicious! I will return had a great day, on an old fashioned parkland mature course.

Brilliant course we'll maintained friendly staff and a well stocked half way house ran by Julie who makes incredible brownies 😋, will definitely go back next year. The club house is very welcoming and the three course meal we had was excellent.

A beautiful course with lots of interesting Holes. The Fairways are wide and well kept as are all the greens. Some of the greens are difficult to read as they have slopes and undulations. I really enjoyed playing the course on the 1st of July

One of the best kept course I have visited and played. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the entire course was fantastic. The greens were perfect, the rough wasn’t too rough and the fairways in better condition than a lot of other courses putting greens! Sausage bap was top notch as well. Highly recommend

I played there yesterday with the Building Alliance Golfing Society. Staff were excellent was was the reception we received and the food we were served. Course looked great considering that we are not yet in summer. No negative comments from all 58 of us. The greens were good and I suspect frighteningly faster in the summer. Great bunkers with really good fair sand, great viciously raked. It’s difficult to loose a ball as the rough is kept in control. Very enjoyable experience.

It's a must. The staff were fantastic the reception I got was out of this world from start to finish. Other than the 22 mile per hour winds we had to play in. The course was fantastic. Also after your game. They're clean your clubs shoes. Various other things it was just amazing. Thank you to the Grove and all the staff it was amazing experience. And we'll definitely. Will be coming. again.

A fantastic course. Impeccable greens, well kept fairways with decent tees, plus nice sand in the bunkers. A nice setup for all the holes with good challenges, but nothing too difficult. So great for most level of golfers. I wouldn't recommend getting buggies though as they must remain on the cart path. In some ways that's good as it keeps the fairways in good nick, however, there can be more walking and time spent to get the right club. The service was brilliant from conversations with Tom who dealt with all my groups needs and making it perfect for the day, with Alice who looked after all of us brilliantly. There was a lot of nice little touches - with individual gold name tags for our bags, a lovely pouch with The Grove tees and pitch repair. Alice made sure my cakes were cut up and ready at the halfway house before hole 10, and took a load of nice pictures of us on the first tee. Really impressed with the overall experience with a big Thank You to Tom and Alice who made my 50th really unforgettable.
