“Dear Stephen and the Team at Brickendon Golf Club, I am writing to express my sincere gratitude on behalf of all the members from Abridge Golf Club for hosting my Captain's Away Day yesterday. We had an absolutely fantastic day, and I received overwhelmingly positive feedback from everyone who played. The course was in excellent condition, a true credit to your greens staff. The hospitality was superb, and the food was delicious – everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Thank you for making us feel so incredibly welcome at your club. Your efforts truly made the day a memorable one for us all. Kind regards, Menashy Cohen”

“Brilliant course, best in the region. Really friendly staff. Greg Smith made me feel very welcome in the pro shop and always seems keen to be helpful. Great greens, which seem to improve every year I go.”

“I joined the club back in April and after two months I can confidently say that I look forward to being a member for many many years to come. The courses are both incredible, really well laid out and very well kept. The courses are both quite challenging but really quite beautiful to walk around and there is always plenty of wildlife to spot! The clubhouse is a lovely building that's rather spacious and seating inside and outside is plentiful. The food is great, the chips are literally perfect (real crispy and golden on the outside but still fluffy in the middle!) and the JOG burger is a great all rounder. Pints are pretty cheap compared to other bars/pubs in the area too (none of this £5 a pint nonsense). The management are very helpful and send out weekly updates on competitions, how the club is developing and it's great to be able to see the continuous improvements made over the last months (and with more in the works). Would happily recommend to anyone! PS: Try the dirty fries!”

“We celebrated a work do here, and it was truly unforgettable. The manicured grounds are nothing short of spectacular—perfect for photos or a leisurely stroll between events. Inside, the interior is elegant and thoughtfully designed, striking the ideal balance between grandeur and warmth. And the food was simply outstanding: each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Overall, Moor Park delivered an exceptional experience from start to finish.”

“We had a brilliant experience and it was the best decision to hold our daughter’s wedding reception at Whitehills. Amanda and the team were amazing, attentive, organised & made the day completely stress free for us all. The room, the setting, service, planning were all perfect and very reasonably priced. The DJ they recommend (Wayn)was the best, he played exactly what we asked & the dance floor was full from start to finish. Highly recommend it for any function. Bob and Gael”

“My first time at the venue. Having left a nearby crematorium we head d here to cel beaten the death of a good family friend. Greeted at a h door by a young lady we were warmly welcomed. Hot coffee followed by some good food. For such an occasion this is wonderful venue. A golf course with wonderful food. There is also a good restaurant on site that we will visit in the future.”

“Played there today as part of an organisers day. Played many times before but this day was outstanding. Couldn’t have been welcomed more and nothing was too much trouble. The course was in excellent condition considering we’d have days of rain. It’s a challenging play and enough to keep you interested. The staff looked after us exceedingly well (especially Ben) from start to end, whereby we had a delicious dinner to finish. Very positive experience. Give it a go 👍🏻”

“I played there yesterday with the Building Alliance Golfing Society. Staff were excellent was was the reception we received and the food we were served. Course looked great considering that we are not yet in summer. No negative comments from all 58 of us. The greens were good and I suspect frighteningly faster in the summer. Great bunkers with really good fair sand, great viciously raked. It’s difficult to loose a ball as the rough is kept in control. Very enjoyable experience.”

“A very special golf course set in a National Trust area of outstanding beauty. If you like driving the ball it's great for that, the greens are generous in size but don't be fooled if you are a long way away from the pin, good putting is a premium. The members are so friendly, everyone I met or spoke with were so proud of the course and club. Well worth a visit to this English top 100 golf course.”
