We got crepes after the pantomime I promised my daughter them as a treat and they did not disappoint infact they were so lovely my daughter said she couldn't wait for the next time she could have them. Very quick service very reasonably priced and such a lovely treat.

Cute dessert spot. Well priced. Open later than others and good for a late night treat! Was delivered promptly. was well presented and hot - even for being delivered. 😉 would order from again. Would love some simple crepes though!!

Hands down the most delicious waffles and crepes we’ve ever had - and an absolute steal for the price. Extremely friendly service, choosing custom toppings. Hot, gooey, and gorgeous- what more could you ask for?

I ordered the Kinder King Crepe, it was amazing! Quick and friendly service and very good value for money! The ingredients were all fresh and very good quality - 10/10 I will definitely be going back!!

This Cafe is a hidden gem. I have eaten in a lot places over the years and I can honestly say this is the best place I’ve come across. The environment is beautiful and clean. The food is of high quality, cooked and presented perfectly. But without the staff it would just be a building, they are friendly, polite and welcoming. I couldn’t praise them enough. Absolute Gem of a find... I wish I lived closer as this is in my top 3 of all time places to have breakfast! Everything is perfect, the decor, the ambience, the staff. Plus the food is 10/10 top notch! It was nice to tuck away into a quiet corner. But there is also lots of outside seating and other areas. Tip - the cafe is literally in the industrial estate opposite burger King, you initially think your in the wrong spot, then you see it.

Nice little soft play centre. Separate area for under 2s and bigger toddlers. Makes excellent use of limited space, although some might find it a little cramped. Very decent and reasonably priced selection of food and drink.

A lovely little place. Kind staff who are very good with the kids. Lots to do for little ones. They need a bigger venue but other than that pretty perfect !

I have been visiting with my son almost every week for over the past two years!! It’s a great soft play, perfect for children to have fun and even more perfect for adults, since it’s a smaller venue you can actually sit and relax without being overstimulated and searching for your child like in typical soft plays. My toddler loves the frame, ball pit and slide, they even have a great selection of toys to play with. Great food options for both littles and adults. & the owners make it all the more special that we keep coming back.

Amaz-Ballz is a fantastic soft play center where kids can have a blast while parents enjoy some downtime. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The highlight is the café, serving some of the best coffee I've ever had. It's the perfect spot for a fun family outing. Highly recommended!

Best breakfast baguette still available. That's a great way to start the day. Pixies is 3 years old. Happy birthday. Good coffee, excellent staff and the best bacon sausage breakfast in the county!

Nice cafe, food was excellent. Had a flat white and coffee and walnut cake. Nice location as well, especially on a sunny day. It's off the street a bit with a grass area and seating out the front. There's indoor seating too. Service was decent despite being quite busy, waited just under 10 minutes.

Good vegan options clearly listed on the menu with VE. We had vegan sausage roll and jacket potato with vegetarian chili (VE), smashed avocado, humus and vegan cheese. It came with side salad too. Very yummy. Decaf coffee and dairy alternative milks available. They do mention on the menu vegan cakes however we did not have the time for it this time round so will add an update when we do try them. Nice seating area both indoors and outdoors. Good service and great atmosphere too. Baby changing facility also available.

What a fabulous find. I have never seen such a delicious and extensive range of GF/SF/NF/DF/vegan cakes. The coffee and lunch were delicious. Another huge plus for us was the child insert and stool for the toilet. I don’t know why more places don’t include child inserts in their facilities - kids need to use the loo too!!

Great breakfast stop. Reasonable price and food top notch. Eat outside and enjoy the view. Highly recommended.

Fantastic little cafe, breakfast was amazing

Had a quarter pounder with cheese and bacon with chips for lunch. Takeaway. It was good. The burger was good meat and tasted great. Chips were decent too. Friendly staff and good atmosphere inside. Will go back again.

Love this place. Great food, great service, friendly place with a great buzz. My band come here for a pre rehearsal brunch and we love it. Quality ingredients, good value and the team even remember our drinks and bring them to us without even having to ask.

Ordered takeaway for the entire office, and it was great! The convenience and deliciousness of the meal were well-appreciated by everyone. Definitely a go-to option for our future office meals. 5 stars!

Visited for the first time. Sat downstairs as took dogs, limited seating if taking dogs, more seating upstairs but dogs not allowed. Coffee was hot, food was ok but bagel was dry. Hosts very friendly and served promptly. Unfortunately we were the only ones downstairs so lacking in atmosphere.

Great food with plenty of options, coffee was good too. Clearly a lot of thought and effort has gone into the menu and overall presentation. Ingredients are fresh and a must for anyone who takes training / health seriously. Very welcoming and great service. Thanks again and look forward to returning.

Stuart and Gemma are very welcoming. Great food, lots of choice. Easy to pop in there after the gym and get a freshly made protein shake. I've also being following a meal plan which has been tailored to me. 2 weeks in and nearly half a stone down. Easy to follow, not hungry and feeling great 👍

Nice little local pub with friendly staff and people. Not very lively but very welcoming.

Nice friendly atmosphere. Barstaff knew how to have banter with the customers. Ale wasn't the best for choice or quality but I would definitely pay them another visit.

A wonderful evening's live music with 9 acts providing 4 hours of quality entertainment enjoyed by all. An open mic night which left everyone looking forward to the next one on 1st February 2019. There is live music every Sunday afternoon from a variety of top bands, well worth popping in to check it out over a pint or two.

Had a wonderful Aternoon Tea today. The service was spot on and the food was delicious. The savoury selection was pleasantly different and tasty. Mini quiches where the pastry melted in your mouth, whilst having that nice cheesy tang about them. The cheese scones were gorgeous! The sweet selection was equally as good. Very tasty and moist mini carrot cakes. Macaroons that whilst were very sweet had flavours that their colour represented (Yellow = Lemon) Fruit and plain scones were so good! Asked for extra cream and that was no problem Drinks were plentiful and of good quality Tapps must be your 'go to' place for Afternoon Tea Thank you for your amazing food and service

Just dropped in for tea and cake but this was a lovely cafe. Large selection, friendly staff, good value and very chilled atmosphere. Will happily return.

I visited with my son. We wanted something to eat primarily. It was Sunday. I was hoping for a roast dinner. It is best to book or reserve a Sunday lunch beforehand as we couldn't get a full Sunday roast. However, the staff offered roasted beef and pork sandwiches which were served with roast potatoes and gravy. It was delicious. The young lady behind the bar was very helpful and the service was excellent. It's well worth a visit, although I would suggest to book a Sunday lunch.

Proper OBH. Very friendly and I gather the food is good too. The beer garden has heating for the cooler days and plenty of seating. Situated on the High Street, opposite a greedy Supermarket, there is plenty of parking. Maybe not the cheapest Lager but plenty of offers for Ale drinkers. A really nice local boozer!

The Cock is a lovely pub with outside space, good real ales. It is one of the more expensive pubs in Baldock though

So I promised the ladies that I’d write a review if the vegan sausage roll were better than a well known mass producing bakery. And true to my word here’s my review. Absolutely lovely … Herby and full of flavour the filling isn’t trying to be fake meat but a stand out for what it is. The pastry was flaky and makes just the right amount of mess to say you’ve enjoyed it. My wife had the cheese and onion pastry and she was super impressed. As for service. The staff were super friendly, polite land really helpful. Defiantly returning to try what else they have when I’m next in the area.

Popped in here this morning, never been in before. Plenty of friendly staff, the place is very clean and the counters are full of great looking good. Bought a sausage roll and a bacon & cheese turnover - delicious 😋 Thoroughly recommend 👍🏻
