Never been for an afternoon tea before so took my Mum, who also has never been to one, to The Kitchen. The staff were so lovely and welcoming and the food was amazing. So much choice, we even had cakes to spare so took them home in a box. The cakes were so good. Highly recommend for lunch, afternoon tea or just a coffee, which was also really good.

Booked for the valentines afternoon tea. First time going after wanting to go for months (just struggle to find time). But my god the food was excellent. Lovely warm welcome and all round great service. Will definitely be booking in future and popping in when can. Highly recommend.

Had some time to kill in the neighborhood so paid The Kitchen a visit. Lovely coffee and cake, and a beautiful atmosphere. Had a great chat with the owner and staff and cannot recommend this café enough. Will definitely be back!!

My mum and sister were invited to enjoy an afternoon tea and absolutely loved it. My mum has had the opportunity to try afternoon teas in many fancy places, however, she stated that this was one of the best experiences she has ever had. Linda made them feel incredibly welcome, as did the two staff members, Lily and Lil, who served them. Every single item on the table was locally sourced and freshly made each day at the venue. Something you can taste when eating the cakes, scones and sandwiches, which are simply delicious. Leaving with boxes filled with leftovers, I know it won’t be long before they go back for more, as they were so impressed by it all. Linda should be incredibly proud of everything she has created. It is truly fantastic and we couldn’t recommend it enough.

Perch & Co. near Croxley station is an absolute gem! The rustic vibe of the café immediately makes you feel at home, with its warm, cozy atmosphere and charming decor. The food is exceptional, made with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. Their menu offers a great variety, catering to all tastes, from hearty breakfast options to delicious lunch specials. The staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely care about their customers. Whether you're stopping by for a quick coffee or settling in for a leisurely meal, Perch & Co. never disappoints. Cute little place! Dog friendly, service lovely. Great cup of tea will come back for that!!! I ordered the bliss bowl which was awesome - the coleslaw should be served as a side too! Amazing. Will come try the quesadilla

Our family love Perch & Co! The staff are always so warm and welcoming. The food is consistently great and the coffee and smoothies are top-notch. It’s also a great spot if you’ve got little ones or a pup with you, very baby and dog friendly. A local gem!

Wow, what a find this was firstly the staff Jo and Oliva hats off for managing such a busy little venture the coffee was the best I've ever had anywhere i thought i might of needed some brown sugar but once I sipped some it was like a velvet texture and so tasty the breakfast was top notch too the first impression was I've paid £14 for a coffee and breakie but it was just enough and cooked fantastically well and full of flavour the coffee was that good I had to have another and took it away to the building site I was working on overall 10 out of 10 worth the money hands down will recommend to everyone

I work in New Road pharmacy and come here regularly for my coffee and lunch. Their flat white is one of the best I have had and their toasties are consistently very good.

This is a favourite local or ours and even though they were super busy today, the service is always 5* and nothing is too much for them. Service with a smile - always. This place also does the best coffees. Thank you again

Amici have reopened with new owners and a completely new offering. Much as I loved the old cafe, this is an Italian restaurant with proper restaurant quality food served on Friday and Saturday evenings 6-10pm. The food was excellent - we had pizza (crispy base, tasty sauce and toppings) and one of the veal dishes with rosemary potatoes - superbly cooked - a proper taste of Italy. The tiramisu and wine were also excellent. With ZaZa gone from Ricky, it would be fabulous if local people supported this new venture as the food is excellent. We will be back on our next free weekend!

Delicious food. Highly recommend if you want a really reasonably priced delicious Italian lunch. Go for pasta!! It’s a super simple little side street cafe, parking right outside, the pasta is awesome, large portions, full of flavour and this huge bowl of carbonara is gluten free penne!! They can swap out most pasta dishes for gluten free penne!!

We were recommended this place by some friends. Upon arrival there was a very calming atmosphere, because the pub is built right in the middle of quiet country road & is not full of the usual traffic and noise. Inside the pub, there is a vast array of beers on draught, not to mention a very nice menu with lots of food to choose from. We sat inside the function room out back & decided to order the beer battered fish and chips. It was absolutely delicious! Our waitress Olivia went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. She had a great manner & was very knowledgeable about the food on the menu. She was polite, calm, caring and helpful towards us despite being under extreme pressure as the pub was quite busy! Very highly recommended & well worth a visit 10/10

Great stuff! Jumped in for a little full English and it was bang on! Nothing to complain about but don’t expect the moon either. Is it worth you getting out of your way to go, probably not. Will you enjoy it? Most definitely! Also friendly staff and great value for money!

Well stocked clean & modern inside. Got the apple danish, apple was a bit sour but the pastry was perfect. Will be back to try more things, so four stars for the danish at the moment.

Simmonds brown, seared and sour bread is of superb quality, taste and consistency. Staff in my local branch are delightful. Only reason not 5/5 is all the cakes are just packed with sugar with little taste and sadly a sign of commercialism and must add to people’s weight gains ……. More quality ingredients and less sugar ???!

Great bakery and the staff is always friendly but super busy at lunch times. You can easily stand for 30 minutes during lunchtime waiting whilst staff prepare sandwiches etc. to order. Needs a second till/queue and staff member for people who want to grab a quick sausage roll/pie or something already prepared during busy periods. I'm not standing in line for 30 min for a sausage roll, I've left the queue on 2 occasions and gotten lunch elsewhere due the the super long wait.

The food is excellent but the service was terrible 😫, the one in st albans is much better, stood there for 15 minutes and the staff where out the back chatting and when they came out hardly anything was left

A "country pub" in Croxley Green. No need to drive for miles (unless you don't live in Croxley Green) to find a a quaint pub in the countryside. The pub sits on the longest village green in England with views to match. Cheerful service and a fair display of beers. Remember to use or lose you local pub.

A lovely friendly pub. Very popular with the locals of Croxley Green but you’re made to feel very welcome on arrival. Seating outside front garden & also out the back garden which is nice, but over looks the car park. The car park can get full at peak times but not normally a problem to find somewhere local to park. Dogs are allowed both inside & outside and on the few occasions we have visited there has always been many dogs here. The vibe seems really chill & relaxed. Food is good, I always go for the superfood salad as it’s simply the most amazing thing which sounds strange for a salad but it’s amazing!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Harvester Croxley Green, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! Emily truly made our visit special with her outstanding service. She was incredibly attentive, super friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, all with a warm and genuine smile. The food was delicious, with a great variety and fantastic flavors, but it was Emily's exceptional service that really stood out. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience that I highly recommend to everyone. Can't wait to visit again! 🎉🍽️

I booked for my daughters 7th birthday on the 1st October for 25 people. the service was excellent we had a fantastic waitress. she was very patient with us they made my daughters birthday go smoothly food was delicious I couldn't praise them enough. excellent place to eat
