The Base One Café is a great place to start your day with a lovely coffee, they have freshly baked goodies and always a warm welcome, it’s also equally great to grab a bite to eat as the food is made with the homely goodness…their butternut soup and milkshakes are my favourite.

Tucked away in the corner of Bovingdon Airfield Studios is base one cafe and Maria is the girl of my dreams. This is all down to the most amazing welcome and food I’ve experienced over the first week of working on site. The coffee is exceptional with a great selection of cold drinks and smoothies. Everything food-wise is homemade. The breakfasts will set you up for the day and the the cheese burger with homemade slaw, fresh salad and fries was fantastic. If you’re visiting bovingdon, do yourself a favour and pop in.
