My very long - 160 feet - and very neglected garden needed a great deal of work doing to it and I contacted Oakland Gardens about undertaking the task. From the initial contact right through to completion I found the team beyond reproach. The lads who came to do the work were, every single one, very pleasant, polite, eager to please and extremely hard working. I couldn't recommend Oakland Gardens enough.

Great bunch of guys who do an amazing job looking after our garden. Not only do they do all the jobs asked of them but they go out of their way to find extra jobs to do if they have time left over at the end of their visit. Polite, reliable and always turn up when they say they will. Highly recommend.

I have been using the services of Oaklands Gardens for about five years and it was the best decision I could have made. The lads are very knowledgable about plants and what will grow best in my garden and are more than happy to advise me. I have never known gardeners work so hard and take such care with their work. It's true that you can get gardeners who charge less but if you want someone who can tell weeds from your precious plants, help with planting schemes and work your garden as if it was their own, then Oaklands can do it all and more besides. I highly recommend them.

Trustworthy, reliable and keenly priced

Caroline came to help us clear plants from our allotment and rehome them in our garden today. She arrived on time and didn’t stop working from the minute she arrived until she was done. The garden has never looked better, we can’t wait for the summer to see it in full flower. Her knowledge was excellent and advice invaluable. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Luke from LB Garden Services came to the rescue with a rapid response to my dilemma. With his skills and abundance of ideas himself and his team dived in with full force. Jamie and his team were nothing short of amazing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From the very beginning we were offered samples to pick colours/styles and Jamie was always available to help with our hundreds of repetitive questions. The team were on time every single day and remained professional, knowledgeable and tidy throughout the week they were with us. Nothing was too much trouble despite us being extremely fussy, we felt supported through every step with them able to offer their expertise. Rear garden landscaping & driveway Jamie and his team completed a new front driveway with grey tegula block paving, demolished a raised patio area and replaced it with a new grey porcelain patio and garden path. They also replaced a second patio on a higher level, again with porcelain tiles bordered with railway sleepers. They replaced sandstone dry stone retaining walls throughout with railway sleepers and erected a 6-foot fence to one side of the garden and a new garden gate. Our garden is quite steeply sloping, and it certainly wasn’t an easy job. Jamie was very knowledgeable and helpful during the planning stage and came round to discuss our options a couple of times to make sure that we were happy with the plan. He suggested changes we would never have thought of which proved to be very effective. Once the job was finished, he came to check everything and make sure all the snagging was completed properly. He followed up a couple of weeks later with a phone call to make sure we were still happy with everything. Which of course we were. The team were very skilful, professional, and polite. We couldn’t fault any of their work and they answered all our questions as they went along when we were unsure of anything. Nothing was too much trouble, and every part of the job was completed to perfection. We would have no hesitation in recommending Jamie and his team. We will definitely use him again if we have any future projects and have recommended him to all our friends and family.

You get what you pay for: Jamie and his team delivered beyond expectations in terms of speed and finish with our patio, excavation and turfing job. We now have a garden we’re proud to show off and one that our three-year-old can grow into! I would recommend JW without hesitation.
