This is the second time I’ve used Dave The Gardener & Son. Once again they did a great job. I needed some fencing work and had a new patio put in. The communication was good throughout and the quality of the job was excellent.

Darren and his team have done a fantastic job on our new build weed infested garden. Had other quotes twice what he did it for. He only wanted a deposit upfront to buy the materials then rest on completion. Turned up on time Would recommend them .

Darren and his colleagues totally transformed our garden including totally digging up the old grass and demolishing a couple of paths that were underneath it. Then, laid new soil, turf, a patio, a path and a sun lounger area as well as adding some edging around my garden office, railway sleepers for raised beds, some much needed fencing work and adding some screens. After having a few quotes, ranging from being ghosted to 75k, Dan showed up and was the only one who listened to what we had planned. We had just bought a house and didn’t have a massive budget but we really needed to get the garden safe for the kids. Dan worked with our plans and we agreed to have the garden levelled and re-turfed. The pricing was clearly laid out so I knew exactly where the money was going. Dan and John were so lovely to have round. They talked us through everything they were doing, pleasant to chat with and hard working. Attention to detail was excellent. The job was done in 5 days and we are so happy with the work. The lawn is amazing! (Even if we can’t go on it yet) This is definitely the beginning of a large project but we’re so happy to have Dan behind it. Work in progress and here’s to the next steps! Would 100% recommend!

Went with Dan based on a referral from a friend I trusted. Discussed with Dan my vision and he was able to provide guidance and amendments based on his knowledge and skills in the trade. Some examples were around colour schemes, accent boards around the trim and actual design of seating. We agreed to a date, Dan and John turned up 8am on morning 1 with all the stuff they needed. They quoted 5 days. The job ended up taking 7 days, which they did consecutively and without any issue at all, the primary focus being getting the job done, and maintaining the high standard or workmanship. Over all on this job, I am absolutely stoked with the outcome and the workmanship of the boys. Really pumped for summers to come. 100 percent recommend these boys and their work.

We are so happy with our new garden and garden office! Dan and Jon were helpful and responsive every step of the process from design to build, taking care of every detail and doing little extras to make sure everything was perfect, and they made it as stress free as possible e.g. working late to lay resin while we were away so it didn’t limit where we could walk. We’ve got more space that we imagined possible from the efficient design - a place to work, places to sit and eat, places to grow flowers and vegetables, and so much more room for our children to play that one of their friends called our garden the park! Absolutely brilliant work from Dan and his team. Prepared an area in our garden to then build a dwarf brick wall for a Victorian greenhouse with very tight tolerances. The work was absolutely spot on, super precise, extremely neat and tidy - really cannot fault anything! Would 100% recommend!

A very professional company. Justin is so passionate about artificial grass there is nothing he doesn't know. He viewed my garden and gave me a price there and then. I have a male dog so he suggested a particular type of grass which is more suitable for dogs and children. The guys arrived on time and carefully prepared my garden covering our tiles to avoid any damage. They were efficient and very pleasant. After a hard days work, they cleared and cleaned everything up and returned the next day to complete the amazing transformation. I also bought a sanitiser from them to add to water after my dog has been to the toilet and they offer an aftercare service to keep the lawn at its best which I will definitely be using. I cannot recommend this company enough and they did an amazing job.

Justin and his team did an outstanding job from transforming our garden from normal grass to artificial grass, Justin went through every step that the team would do and it was followed to the T. He took the time to discuss my needs thoroughly, especially considering I have three dogs. He recommended a specific type of grass and was very helpful in explaining how regular maintenance would ensure it lasts longer and stays in top condition. The installation team was fantastic! I contacted PAG on the 2nd Jan to see if the area in our garden could be relaid with artificial grass as it all blew up during a storm over Christmas. After sending some details over and videos, Justin came over on 7th Jan to take some measurements and have a closer inspection. Justin was a pleasure to deal with and an absolute Gentleman. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about his industry, which is evident from the various accreditations he and the company hold. Before he left he even said that if I decided to go with another company I could give him a call whenever for some free advice to make sure what I was being told was true. Justin was honest from the start and gave different options, and said he wouldn’t be able to just re-lay the grass because the previously laid grass was not of a high quality (it was two different cuts and shades) and not done particularly well, (being laid over sharp sand on patio slabs, and stuck down with cartridge glue around the edges on some premixed concrete) which is why it ripped up in the storm. Justin explained to do it properly it would require the slabs breaking down, the ground levelling, a sub base laying down, compacted, levelled and then a fine granite dust compacted, screeded and floated in for a proper finish, along with layers of membrane and finally using a proper composite edging to secure the grass down. Justin produced a full quote on the 9th Jan, which was well priced for the exceptional quality of work and attention to detail. After accept accepting the quote, the work started on Wed 15th. The workmen, Colin and Paul, were everything you can ask for; courtesy, diligent, skilled, displayed great attention to detail and clean and tidy. All the concrete and rubble was cleared away each evening and the work was completed by Monday 20th lunchtime. When all the work was done, the garden was hosed down from concrete dust, the grass was power brushed, cleaned and all the outside area hoovered to pick up stands of the grass fibre and the outside area was left immaculate. Justin also took a time lapse video of the installation to show the transformation. We now have a beautiful garden and our artificial grassed area looks absolutely immaculate and will last indefinitely (well over 20 years + in the UK climate as the grass is certified with a 10 year UV warranty in scorching hot climates) as it’s been done properly using the best top quality materials….and will never blow up again in a storm! All in all, I would have no hesitation in recommending PAG, Justin, Colin, Paul and the rest of the team. Excellent workmanship, the best of the best for artificial grass, and an excellent experience from start to finish.
