NumberWorks'n Words is a lovely and supportive team for my son. He is now 11 and more than ready for secondary school. The way they work with children is amazing, my son feels so confident and his efforts and results are always very appreciated. I totally recommend. My son does English and maths always and sometimes we had to change the dates of the week, so he has seen most of the tutors, and he always comes back home with a smile on his face, talking about his accomplishments. Signed my teenager (who is autistic and has ADHD) up for tutoring at Numberworks. First of all, Catherine is so accommodating and welcoming. All his needs were understood and catered for. He has managed to attend, make progress and actually really enjoy learning. I couldn’t recommend Numberworks enough.

Sarah has been amazing throughout the whole of lockdown. I have recieved all work needed ahead of time and had lots of feedback through texts and calls where needed. My son has continued to make progress alongside the odd phone lesson when a new topic arose. We have had constant updates about when and how classes will re opening and have felt very confident in Sarahs decisions along the way. Overall we are extremely pleased being apart of Kumon Stevenage South and applaud Sarah for her hard efforts made for all the children and families in this very different and challenging time.

My son and daughter are 6 and 4, they have both been attending here for approx 6 months - the progress is absolutely astonishing, my son was struggling with phonics and reading, he is now in line with where he should be for his age in such a short space of time. He has also progressed vastly with his mathematics and speed of completing maths work. My daughter is now blending sounds into words and is able to read short sentences. Kumon has given them both so much confidence. I am just so grateful to Sarah and her amazing team. Kumon is worth it’s weight in gold.

I have a 14 and a 9 year and to be fair i am so useless at maths that i cant help either if them. But Stefanie and her team can. Just what we needed. Stef was there during covid doing on line lessons, keeping them up to date. The classroom is friendly and welcoming with easy to understand homework that actually makes it fun. Parents evenings/afternoons, newsletters and a number of different ways to get in touch if there are any concerns. I'm so pleased that my son is studying Maths and Physics A Level at YoungEducation Stevenage. It's only been possible as he trusts and really 'clicks' with his tutors, both of whom have a great knowledge of their subjects - and can convey that knowledge to Ewan (the tricky part!).

Young education have got alternative provision spot on! My son is learning so much, and has that social interaction with peers there too. The staff and teachers are so friendly and completely understanding of neurodiversity. My son’s confidence shot up when he started here (following a really awful time at a previous school). The perfect blend of education and social interaction was just what he needed to transition him into starting a new school following his time here. I can’t thank them enough!

My Son is really enjoying his Saturday mornings at Genie Tutors and is learning fast and becoming must better at Maths ! He has said he is learning more in one hour than his whole week at school!!!

My son has been working with his Tutor for about 3 years now and has come on leaps and bounds in his confidence. He is now so calm when discussing maths problems with anyone and his maths grades have improved significantly. He says that she explains things so clearly and breaks it down into understandable chunks so that he finds it easier to remember principles. She took him back to basics and has explained everything so that he understands why you work problems out the way you do not just the method. So his understanding and breaking down the maths problem is so much easier. He really has grown in his belief in himself and I believe her assistance in his maths teachings are a fundamental part of this. So far I've been enjoying the lessons the teachers are very interactive and have helped me a lot when I am stuck. I would like to rate higher but I haven't had many lessons with them - would highly recommend.

I joined First Class Learning just after the Christmas break before my GCSE exams. In just 5 months Raj helped me to raise my grade in Maths from a 3/4 (D/C) to a 7 (A).
