Hedy is fantastic and my 5 year old son has been enjoying learning and practising the worksheets at Kumon and at home. It’s a huge help to always have contact when I have questions about the app and to learn about his progress each week after his session at Kumon. It’s really helped to build his confidence and keep him a step ahead.

In November of last year, my daughter enrolled in the Kumon program with the hope of improving her skills in math and English. I feel incredibly grateful to have Hedy and her team at our side throughout this journey. Their unwavering support and determination have been truly remarkable. In just a few months, my daughter has made tremendous progress, and I attribute much of this success to the hard work and dedication of the Kumon team. Not only has her academic performance improved, but she has also become more confident and independent in completing her work. Kumon is a great program for building math and reading skills. It promotes independence but requires daily commitment and may feel repetitive for some. Overall, it’s a structured and effective option for academic support.

Highly recommend the Elstree Kumon centre run by lovely Hedy. The attention she gives my children is second to none, even going the extra mile by visiting us in our home when help is needed. She treats the kids like her own, and takes real pride in excelling the knowledge of the children. Super highly recommended!

Emma has been able to find very quickly the perfect tutor for my eldest daughter who was struggling in Maths and needed a push. He is also gently preparing her to be at her best to start her UK boarding school in september (organisation, planification, anticipation etc). Bespoke are so professional to deal with and they have matched my kids up with a perfect tutor. Ella is able to adjust the lessons according to the different ages of my kids. I have now used this agency on two occasions to find tutors for my son. The first time Emma found an absolutely ideal general tutor for him while he was off school due to asthma after the pandemic. We were presented with a range of excellent CVs and were able to pick the most promising one for a trial, which worked out brilliantly. More recently this year, when looking for a computer science tutor for my 15-year-old, Emma found us a great range of candidates to choose from. We picked Amardeep who has proved to be outstanding with a wonderful laid back rapport. My son is not a school enthusiast but actively enjoys learning in his tutor sessions. Bespoke is not the cheapest agency but they really are outstanding and the ability to chat through specific needs, look at CV details and go for a trial lesson first is so helpful. It's not a production line but offers a really personal service. If you are concerned your child needs something a bit different or specific, I can't recommend Bespoke enough.

My daughter has used explore learning for a number of years, they are great at tailoring the learning sessions through all age groups. Since Covid my daughter has done 1:1 tutoring at home, the support was still the same as in the centre. Over the last few months she has had amazing support from Ciaran going over specific areas of concern in maths and English tailoring the tutorials as needed.

After de-registering my twins due to lack of support from local schools, even with one child having an EHCP, I decided to start my journey of Elective Home Education. I started with text books, but wanted to make sure they were receiving the full education for English & Maths. To start with the twins attended a trial session in the centre, they enjoyed the fun way of learning. We were going to proceed with in centre sessions, which were amazing, but because of my twin who is diagnosed Autistic and ADHD she got nervous and would not go in......but, she still wanted to do the learning. We now do our sessions a few times a week at home with a one to one tutor online. It is amazing!! The twins have learnt more in a few weeks than they have in one year at school.....it is very personal and they love getting ready for online tutoring with Laura. They work through assignments, if they get stuck they click on the person with their hand up icon, Laura appears on their screen and she asks what they are stuck on and how to work it out.....one thing also with this, my autistic twin did not understand one method of working out maths, unlike school, where they are rigid in which teaching method is used, Laura adapted a different method and straight away it clicked and my twin flew through the questions. Being able to access their account and do independent learning whenever they want is also amazing. The tutor will see this and how they got on. You can monitor their progress and this is inline with what Year they would be doing this at school - so some areas they could be years ahead, whereas other weaker areas could show them in a lower year to their age. This is precise and a proper visual breakdown, showing exactly where they are at in each area of the subject. I highly recommend Explore Learning. If you attend in centre sessions, these can be claimed back as childcare (for example through Universal Credit) if you are eligible as they are Ofsted and registered. My only regret is I didn't do this sooner for my twins, best thing I have ever done and they are so so happy and keen to learn! Amazing, thank you Explore Learning!!

Such a friendly and supportive tutor company. We have used a few of the tutor sessions 1-1 and group over the last 2 years, Maths and Sciences. Georgina is very hands on. My daughter was not keen on having a tutor but we agreed to give it a try for a few sessions. A year later she is now sad that her weekly meet ups with Georgina for GCSE Maths have ended. My son has been with First class learning and Sudakar since September, we contacted him as I was desperate to find a tutor for 11+ entrance exams at a very late stage. After being told by other tutors that it was too difficult for them to tutor him for the exams at such a late stage I spoke to Sudakar.He was willing to take him on and immediately devised a one to one plan for him to ensure all topics were covered in a short space of time. We enrolled our son to 11plus coaching with FCL and can see a massive progress in maths and VR. His school progress also improved very well. The guidance and mentoring provided by Sudhakar was excellent and he has great knowledge on the topics and way of approach for 11plus. I would recommend to anyone for 11 plus coaching.

My daughter was tutored by Jo for GCSE Combined Science (Higher Paper). Lessons took place on Zoom which was very convenient. Jo is friendly and approachable and is able to cater for the student’s specific needs. The sessions always provided the clarity and explanation my daughter needed and really helped her to have confidence in sitting her exams. The helpful (and colourful!) notes that Jo provided at the end of each session were a fantastic resource for revision too. I would highly recommend Jo without hesitation.
