“After de-registering my twins due to lack of support from local schools, even with one child having an EHCP, I decided to start my journey of Elective Home Education. I started with text books, but wanted to make sure they were receiving the full education for English & Maths. To start with the twins attended a trial session in the centre, they enjoyed the fun way of learning. We were going to proceed with in centre sessions, which were amazing, but because of my twin who is diagnosed Autistic and ADHD she got nervous and would not go in......but, she still wanted to do the learning. We now do our sessions a few times a week at home with a one to one tutor online. It is amazing!! The twins have learnt more in a few weeks than they have in one year at school.....it is very personal and they love getting ready for online tutoring with Laura. They work through assignments, if they get stuck they click on the person with their hand up icon, Laura appears on their screen and she asks what they are stuck on and how to work it out.....one thing also with this, my autistic twin did not understand one method of working out maths, unlike school, where they are rigid in which teaching method is used, Laura adapted a different method and straight away it clicked and my twin flew through the questions. Being able to access their account and do independent learning whenever they want is also amazing. The tutor will see this and how they got on. You can monitor their progress and this is inline with what Year they would be doing this at school - so some areas they could be years ahead, whereas other weaker areas could show them in a lower year to their age. This is precise and a proper visual breakdown, showing exactly where they are at in each area of the subject. I highly recommend Explore Learning. If you attend in centre sessions, these can be claimed back as childcare (for example through Universal Credit) if you are eligible as they are Ofsted and registered. My only regret is I didn't do this sooner for my twins, best thing I have ever done and they are so so happy and keen to learn! Amazing, thank you Explore Learning!!”

“My son has been with First class learning and Sudakar since September, we contacted him as I was desperate to find a tutor for 11+ entrance exams at a very late stage. After being told by other tutors that it was too difficult for them to tutor him for the exams at such a late stage I spoke to Sudakar.He was willing to take him on and immediately devised a one to one plan for him to ensure all topics were covered in a short space of time. Lessons and plans were made and he ensured that my son was fully prepared in time. He has gone above and beyond to tutor my son and is the most dedicated and knowledgeable tutors we have worked with. “I couldn’t recommend Belle enough. When I started with her in September, I was really nervous and apprehensive about getting a tutor but decided to at least try one session - it’s safe to say she immediately made me feel at ease. She helped me so much with confidence, approach to different questions, general attitude and the maths itself. Both the 1-1 and group sessions were a perfect balance of having a laugh and chatting, and also head down working, which made the sessions so much more enjoyable and motivating. Belle really offered a listening ear whenever I was struggling, and couldn’t have been more accommodating with my learning difficulties. Another amazing thing about Belle was that if I didn’t understand something, she would approach it from a different angle and explain it in a different way which was something I’d never had from a teacher before as feel that usually a teacher would just explain it in the same way again, but Belle was different in this sense which really helped me learn certain concepts in a lot more depth and faster.
