James and his team are fantastic! Highly skilled and able to solve all problems with quick easy solutions. Their craftsmanship is second to none. They have recently redecorated our house, re-plastered, carpentry throughout, built shelf units, cladded the outside, restored windows, and have done a fabulous job. Extremely hardworking and pleasant I would highly recommend.

Florin and his team did a splendid job for us. We encountered some issues during the project, but he handled them very professionally. He wasn’t the cheapest, but we made a good choice in working with him, and we would certainly use him again.

Florin + team repaired our sunken driveway and installed a new 15m aco channel along our garage block. We’re very pleased with the quality of the work done and the communication before/during the work. The workers were considerate and did the job within the estimated time frame.

Excellent service from John and Del, highly recommended and will certainly use again. Great for someone like myself: I’m not particularly great at DIY and didn’t want to invest in tools and materials that would end up languishing in a cupboard. In that regard this service is great value. I also had some extensive fencing replaced and a tricky front gate to fit, all done efficiently and to a great standard.

Herts Handyman Squad were recommended to my parents who wanted to have the doors, woodwork, hall, stairs and landing painted. John, Marion and Andrew worked extremely hard, we’re very professional and lovely. I’ve used Herts Handyman Services 3 times now to decorate my whole home. I’ve always been impressed with the care and attention both John and Rob take with their work, resulting in a great finish which has transformed the rooms and my home. Aside from that they always very punctual and leave the areas they are decorating clean and tidy when the finish for the day. Both very friendly, professional and easy to work with. I’ve also used their handy man services post decoration to hang pictures, change light fittings, tv brackets etc. I would thoroughly recommend using their services.

Andy is very hard working, reliable and has a great personality. I would highly recommend him. Andy transformed my scruffy unattractive garden into a fabulous outdoor space. He initially presented me with a visual to scale proposing a circular patio with planting around the outside. I’m delighted with the end result; he has transformed the garden and given it a real focal point for outdoor dining.

Andy's skills at repairing fencing problems are outstanding. He is also a great "all round" handyman unphased by list of jobs presented. Is professional, affable and courteous offering very fair and reasonable rates and have no hesitation in recommending his services.

Such a great service! Careful, trustworthy, skilled, efficient and reasonable costs. Not only skilled craftsman, Andy has imagination and creativity too. Andy has replaced fencing with trellis, removing a large tree root too - it looks fantastic - and he worked very quickly. He's great with garden work, and has imagination to help resolve problems around the house. We have also used Andy for painting and decoration, putting up blinds, and numerous 'odd jobs'. Highly recommended.

Well what can I say….. this amazing company literally saved the day when my key was completely jammed in my front door and I didn’t no what to do, they was working on a house opposite and very kindly offered to help me they was amazing, offering to fit me a new lock and spending time trying to get the key out! but most of all what lovely honest guys, they come back the next day I was thinking to fit a new lock but instead they told me I didn’t need a new lock they had looked in to it and it just needed realignment and should work perfectly, and he would do it for me with no charge! As not a big job, not many honest people around these days but I can’t recommend this company enough really helped a lady in distress, friendly efficient honest reliable guys! SAS carried out the bathroom and bedroom renovation for us, the team worked professionally and efficiently, they completed all the work within a week. We are so appreciated what they have done and will use their service again in the near future.

We had Scott booked in for a job to replace our flooring on our ground floor. He showed up on the day agreed and done a magnificent job. He also came across some damp within our living room to which he repaired at a fair price. He had his son working alongside him who was also very keen and knowledgeable, both were polite and friendly. 10/10 service, will defiantly use again.

We had SAS carry out an extension for us in Harpenden, him and his team carried out an outstanding job from start to finish. We took a chance on Oliver and his team in our first foray into renovating major parts of our home. Oliver and team reworked the kitchen, shower room from top to bottom, joinery under the stairs, flooring, including tiling the porch, laminate flooring hallway to the kitchen, took one wall down and put another one up; all under just one month. Their standard of work is extremely high, they were professional and efficient in every aspect of the job. Anything that needed to be changed from the original plan, Oliver communicated clearly and problem solved quickly. Oliver and Chris did a brilliant job of completely refurbishing our kitchen. They were efficient, on time and had great attention to detail. We were away when the work was being done, but Oliver kept us in the loop on all the work happening and checked in with us every step of the way. Would highly recommend!

Oliver turned our old garage into a garden office space. The price was very good, he did an excellent job and it was really great working with him. He really cares about doing the work to the highest quality, and it really shows in the end result as you’ll see in the images below. He throws in extra things for free and is very generous with his time, so you always feel that he cares about the job. The site was very tidy at the end of the day and he was on schedule. I couldn’t recommend him more highly.
