Well what can I say….. this amazing company literally saved the day when my key was completely jammed in my front door and I didn’t no what to do, they was working on a house opposite and very kindly offered to help me they was amazing, offering to fit me a new lock and spending time trying to get the key out! but most of all what lovely honest guys, they come back the next day I was thinking to fit a new lock but instead they told me I didn’t need a new lock they had looked in to it and it just needed realignment and should work perfectly, and he would do it for me with no charge! As not a big job, not many honest people around these days but I can’t recommend this company enough really helped a lady in distress, friendly efficient honest reliable guys! I don’t really know where to begin with thanking John and his team for all they have done. After taking on a “project” house with my late husband, I was nervous and overwhelmed with all the work that needed to be done. Then I found John! He put my mind at rest right from the start and I knew I could trust him. He always kept me in the loop with what was going on and would explain things to me in a way I could understand! Nothing was too much trouble and John and Brandon always went above and beyond. The standard of work as you can see from the photos was second to none. You can tell that John and Brandon love what they do and care about what they are doing. Not only were John and Brandon amazing, but also the people that John provided too. Another thing that is important to mention is that John and Brandon always made sure to tidy up after themselves and leave the house clean, which hasn’t always been my experience with builders so I really appreciated that too. Forever grateful. My kids and dog are going to miss them too!

Ginge has been a godsend to us since we moved into our new home in Letchworth. We had a tight timescale to renovate our house and he went out of his way to make it possible for us. Since then he has been our go-to for any jobs we need doing. He has given us great advice and is always honest about what he can't do - the great thing is when he can't do it he knows someone competent who can. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Keith has undertaken many jobs for us over the last 8 years including, painting and decorating, repairing skirting boards and coving, hanging pictures, fixing floorboards, adjusting doors etc. Keiths work is to an incredibly high standard and he's always friendly, professional and reliable. I have used Keith for various tasks over the past years from putting up shelves, sorting door handles and putting in wall fittings. Matt lead the conversion of our conservatory quite brilliantly during Easter of 23. the workmanship was to an excellent standard and kept us updated with every changed. We had Vines Construction completely refurbish our living room last year, which included knocking down an old chimney. They created a stunning media wall, modernised with LED lights and a huge fireplace – the result was absolutely amazing! The work was carried out to an extremely high professional standard, and the team made sure everything was spotless before leaving. Since then, we’ve had them back for some additional decorating work, and yet again, their service was faultless. No job was too small for them, and they approached everything with the same level of care and professionalism. A special shoutout to Luke the decorator, whose attention to detail was impeccable, and Matt the director, who ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Matt and his team have been a dream to work with. We worked with Vine Construction to turn our empty garage to a garage we can be proud of! From the very first call to discuss the what we wanted, Matt was very understanding of our needs and budget. We worked up a plan of action and got to work almost straight away! We used Vines for our kitchen renovation which included removing a load bearing wall to open up the space. Matt kept in constant contact before and throughout the process and answered any of our questions. Matt and Dean completed the work to an extremely high standard, we were impressed with how clean the space was left at the end of each day. They helped organise everything from plumbing, flooring and electrician. We couldn’t be more pleased with our new kitchen!

We had just bought a house in the Hatfield area, we engaged Abbey Building Services & Maintenance for a quote and instantly from that initial conversation with Richard, it led to us going ahead to utilising them for a full house refurbishment along with a rear ground floor extension. Unlike some other builders we had engaged, with Abbey Building Services we felt an instant rapport and as we also shared some common interests it made it a no brainer for us to utilise them. Richard was brilliant. We chose Abbey due to Richard's responsiveness and his attention to detail. Abbey completed a side and rear extension for us in 2018/2019, and we are so happy with it. We trusted Richard to make decisions on our behalf or guide us through things that we knew little about. His team were lovely people to have in the house and worked to a high standard.
