Such a great service! Careful, trustworthy, skilled, efficient and reasonable costs. Not only skilled craftsman, Andy has imagination and creativity too. Andy has replaced fencing with trellis, removing a large tree root too - it looks fantastic - and he worked very quickly. He's great with garden work, and has imagination to help resolve problems around the house. We have also used Andy for painting and decoration, putting up blinds, and numerous 'odd jobs'. Highly recommended.

He initially presented me with a visual to scale proposing a circular patio with planting around the outside. I’m delighted with the end result; he has transformed the garden and given it a real focal point for outdoor dining.

We had an old fence with rotting Arris rails and panels which needed completely replacing. We were very happy with the quote and agreed for Andy to undertake the work. The fence supplied is of good quality and it was erected very efficiently and tidily. The new fence looks great and has made a huge difference to the look (and security) of our garden. We we will certainly be using APS again for other jobs and would highly recommend them.

We took a chance on Oliver and his team in our first foray into renovating major parts of our home. Oliver and team reworked the kitchen, shower room from top to bottom, joinery under the stairs, flooring, including tiling the porch, laminate flooring hallway to the kitchen, took one wall down and put another one up; all under just one month. Their standard of work is extremely high, they were professional and efficient in every aspect of the job. Anything that needed to be changed from the original plan, Oliver communicated clearly and problem solved quickly. He listened and delivered on all our creative ideas and brought them to life beautifully. Both Oliver and Kris showed great workmanship in every part of our home they worked on. It's evident in the finishing that they are experienced and work very hard. I can't recommend them enough!

Oliver turned our old garage into a garden office space. The price was very good, he did an excellent job and it was really great working with him. He really cares about doing the work to the highest quality, and it really shows in the end result as you’ll see in the images below. He throws in extra things for free and is very generous with his time, so you always feel that he cares about the job. The site was very tidy at the end of the day and he was on schedule. I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Oliver and Chris did a brilliant job of completely refurbishing our kitchen. They were efficient, on time and had great attention to detail. We were away when the work was being done, but Oliver kept us in the loop on all the work happening and checked in with us every step of the way. Would highly recommend!

For us this was a relatively large scale project (a rear extension to create an open plan kitchen and living space) and we were understandably anxious about appointing a builder. After much research online we arranged to see 4 local companies. Open Plan Solutions was the last to been seen and blew the competition out of the water. From the outset it was obvious that we were talking to a company that took great pride in doing things the right way. Andrew made it very clear that communication and an upfront approach was paramount to the way Open Plan operated. On the first day of the build a WhatsApp group was set up giving us direct contact to the team along with a Google Drive account allowing access running costs, receipts and images of the work as it progressed. It became clear from the off that Andrews exacting influence runs through the entire workforce. We continued to live in the house while the work was being carried out and with me working from home the team couldn’t have been more considerate. The site was cleared as much as it could everyday and every effort was made to accommodate our daily routine. We couldn’t have been happier with the level of care and attention to detail, along with the high standard of finish and aftercare – we can’t recommend Open Plan Solutions enough. They’re a fantastic team to work with.

Single Storey Open Plan Extension From the very start of our project, everything ran so smoothly. We couldn't have been more impressed with the whole team, from Andrew the Company Director, to Charles our Project Manager and the rest of the build team, and especially Zoltán our Site Foreman. Whatever the weather, the team always arrived promptly at 8 am and stayed until 6 pm Monday - Friday and all Saturday morning, starting again at 8 am. They always cleared away any tools and the site was left as clean and tidy as possible at the end of each day. All the team were so polite, and conscientious. Nothing was too much trouble, especially as our plans evolved, their focus was always on our needs and discussing and answering any questions we had. We had a WhatsApp group set up, so we could easily contact any senior team members, which worked so well. The builders certainly didn't hang around, the project moved forward at an incredible pace, and all necessary building inspections were arranged by Open Plan with our local council. As this was a large single storey extension at the rear of our property, it involved removing most of our kitchen and putting it into storage while the work was carried out. Once we were at the stage when it was in the way, the builders moved most of our units and other furniture into storage for us. They ensured that we always had an area where we could continue to prepare food, as we remained in our home while all the work was carried out. One of our concerns was being able to let our two large dogs out into the garden securely, the builders fenced off an area which included a gate, so we could safely let them out. We can't praise their work highly enough, it was so refreshing to be able to work with such an amazing team, especially as you hear so many awful stories regarding cowboy building companies. We are delighted with the finish inside and out, and would definitely use Open Plan Solutions/HunBuild for any further projects we may have in the future. Highly recommended!

Wayne did a brilliant job repairing both our bathroom and hallway ceilings which had been affected by a leak. He also mounted a TV on our living room wall - we are so happy with the result. We will definitely be using Wayne’s service again and highly recommend!

I don’t really know where to begin with thanking John and his team for all they have done. After taking on a “project” house with my late husband, I was nervous and overwhelmed with all the work that needed to be done. Then I found John! He put my mind at rest right from the start and I knew I could trust him. He always kept me in the loop with what was going on and would explain things to me in a way I could understand! Nothing was too much trouble and John and Brandon always went above and beyond. The standard of work as you can see from the photos was second to none. You can tell that John and Brandon love what they do and care about what they are doing. Not only were John and Brandon amazing, but also the people that John provided too. Another thing that is important to mention is that John and Brandon always made sure to tidy up after themselves and leave the house clean, which hasn’t always been my experience with builders so I really appreciated that too. Forever grateful. My kids and dog are going to miss them too!
