Tomek -4 Prettyhomes creatively and professionaly approached the work on my garden which needed new fencing, a patio, plants and general maintenance. He was able to match my budget and create a lovely outdoor space. He also assisted me with other odd jobs which I am truly grateful to him for . Thomas and team are amazing! We were lucky to get them in our area as our neighbours had them do some gardening work that day. They are possibly the most efficient and hardworking gardeners we've found. We had our hedge that was infested with boxwood caterpillars removed, overgrown tree and bamboo trimmed and cleared all within an hour! Great job and thank you guys!

Thomasz cleared and levelled a large area in the back garden, laid a new patio, built flowerbeds and jet-cleaned, fixed and regrouted two old patios. Working with Thomasz was a breeze. My experience of Steve’s advice in choosing the planting scheme for our garden was simply excellent in every way. We had recently had our garden landscaped & I needed the expertise of Steve’s knowledge of what to plant & how best to group plants taking into account the soil & best site for the plants. The garden palette of ideas for planting that Steve provided & ideas of things he thought would work well in the different areas of the garden has worked perfectly. Steve & I then spent a day planting in May. We are now about to enjoy a second bloom of roses & relaxing in our lovely garden. Next year I will definitely call on Steve again when we are ready to plant out the other bed. Now we are enjoying seeing what we planted this season flourish.

I first met Steve in March 2021, at a time when my front garden had suffered neglect and was quite bare due to the felling of an enormous copper beech tree that had to be taken down because it was causing subsidence next door (see photo attached). The stump and roots had been left, and they caused additional issues to be dealt with. I didn’t have to wait long before Steve came over to discuss my requirements, which he completely took into consideration. I had a water fountain which had never worked, but this was renovated and retained as a central feature, with pathways leading off it towards two benches in the corners. Steve employed and supervised two people who did a great job of laying down topsoil, then all the hard landscaping, including the electricals. Everything was carried out reliably with attention to detail. The plants chosen and ordered for me are perennial and low maintenance; they provide colour and interest all year round and have totally transformed this small space, which fronts onto a private road and is opposite the dental surgery where my husband (deceased) had his practice for several years. I turned it into a memorial garden for him, and the benches are available for everyone at the dental surgery, whenever there is time for them to sit outside and enjoy this garden – like an outdoor waiting room for patients. The design and plants receive much admiration and praise, even from passersby. I couldn’t be happier!

Very pleased with the work Oaklands did for me today. I had several very overgrown trees (yews and Lawson’s cypresses) that needed drastic crown reductions and was afraid they would look terrible after being cut back. Oaklands shaped them very nicely so you would not know they had just been done (apart from marked improvement in light in the garden). They also arrived on time, tidied up well and were generally very helpful and professional. Would definitely use them again and recommend them to others

Alex and his team are great professionals , they came quickly to safely remove two mature trees that unfortunately fell down in the storm around new year in front of my property. Highly recommend

Alex and team did a great job removing a large multi-stemmed Ash tree from my garden. The Ash tree stemmed multiple adjoining gardens over various outbuildings. The team took great care in removing the tree. The job was finished on time and very happy with the result. Everyone was very friendly and polite and a credit to the business. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Alex and his team are utter professionals. They arrived on time, got to work immediately and didn’t stop all day. Steve visits us four times a year to treat our lawn. Each time the lawn improves and despite our efforts to ruin it, whilst laying our patio! it goes from strength to strength. Jamie and his team did a fantastic job at our home. They were hired to build a path & patio, a shed base, establish planting bed (including planting straight pleached trees) and erect a trellis at the front of the house - they did this all in just 3 days. Jamie was communicative and flexible, and where things needed to be adjusted in the plan (the plot was uneven, the access difficult and demanding neighbours) he was straightforward and easy to deal with.
