Anupam and the team’s hospitality skills deserve a 5* rating at this beautiful venue with the most incredible food and drinks pairing. I wish I had a bigger belly to try the whole menu. Portions are super generous and tastes of the food and cocktails were superb. I will definitely order the same dishes again and recommend to friends and family. I can’t wait to try their new afternoon tea menu and “The Bank” tea blend.

We had an amazing dining experience at The Bank Restaurant in Chorleywood! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and beautifully designed. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure a great evening. They even gave us a free welcome appetiser. This is what I say to my friends that if you are in hospitality business, be hospitable! And the team nailed it. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, well-prepared, and bursting with flavour. Whether you're looking for a cozy meal or a special night out, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

The most wonderful experience. Every detail of this place is exquisite. The gorgeous lavish and tasteful interior respects the history of the building whilst creating a luxury atmosphere. The service was exceptional also, every staff member was friendly, welcoming and professional. Anupam was an especially brilliant host. And last but not least the food was sublime!!! The broccoli starter, the lamb chops, the samosas, all were sensational and I left with my taste buds tingling with joy! Highly recommend.

Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant, food was tasty but not spicy. More authentic in flavour than most Indian restaurants outside of London. Hit was out server and he was very attentive just like the restaurant manager.

Celebrated Mothers Day at Prime for lunch and we had such a wonderful time. Each course was lovely and they catered to our nut allergies with no problems - they even adjusted the brownie so that we could have it. Rosa was such a warm host who made us feel very comfortable. Definitely would recommend!

We went by looking at Google comments. (.. I know it was quite risky.) From the wine recommendations to the main course and side plates, and even the desserts (🖤), it was quite delicious. As a chef, I can say that the Cream Brulle was amazing! The soft taste under that golden color! should definitely be tried. / It was Manager's suggestion and he did not regret it. We ate rib eye, they were all well cooked, although we asked for well done, they were wonderfully soft and juicy. Peppercorn sauces were too bold for one serving. My favorite side dish is cauliflower, but boy are truffle oil fries delicious too. We will definitely come again. And I think it should also be tried on cold London days. I can't wait to book the garden fireplace. Thanks to the whole Chandler's Cross s team. 🤍🤍🤍

No joke one of the best Sunday roast I have had in a long time. The beef was full of flavor and potatoes delicious. I had the rack of ribs and again delicious. Would recommend, especially with a good outdoor area for dogs

Met up with dear friends for lunch at this charming little pub, and it turned out to be a real gem. The outdoor seating area was lovely and relaxed, with a great climbing play space that kept the kids happily busy while the adults caught up. The staff were warm and attentive, and the food was well above typical pub fare, you could tell the chefs genuinely cared about what they were creating. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared. The menu was varied, including a delicious vegan sweet potato tart with a crisp side salad and, honestly, the best pub chips I’ve ever had. Two at our table had the fish special and were full of praise. From the friendly service to the evident love in the kitchen and the overall charm of the place, it was a really lovely experience, one we’ll definitely be repeating.

My wife said this was the nicest Sunday lunch she'd had eaten out in a long time. I agree. We both had roast beef topside (mine without potatoes!), cauliflower cheese, and a glass of red wine each. Cost £59.72.

Really lovely place with so much character. An amazing Sunday roast dinner was had. The meat was succulent, tender and full of flavour. The veg was cooked to perfection. Super tasty Yorkshire puds and gravy. We shared a super serving of cauliflower cheese and pigs in blankets. Sat next to a roaring fire. Bliss. Highly recommend this place 100%.

I've dined here a few times now whenever I happen to be in the area. The food is always delicious, freshly cooked and the portion sizes are great. The steak in particular is lovely and the wine list is great. The service is super friendly and it's clear the restaurant is full of regulars who love dining here, I wish I could be one! Definitely one to visit, highly recommended

Portions are huge and lovely. We ordered a variety of dishes, so I got to sample a little of everything. The pasta was scrumptious, and my taste buds were tingling for more. It was such a shame it wasn't my dish! The mussels came in a delicious sauce, and my OO happily devoured the entire bowl. I found the calamari a little bland. I'd recommend sharing it as there's only so much fried batter I can handle. If you do order this and the mussels, try dipping the calamari in the mussel sauce, it adds more to the taste. The cannelloni was rich and cheesy. It was lovely but a bit too heavy for me to finish. The pizza did the job. It was certainly nice enough, but I personally prefer other pizzas elsewhere. Next time I visit, I'm ordering the pasta!

The food here was amazing from start to finish, and the service was excellent. Some of the finest Italian food i have ever had. The spaghetti bolognese was perfect, not tart or acidic. Excellent meal, would very highly recommend. We ate there twice in one week.

One of the best restaurant in Rickmansworth. Food was amazing. Garlic Mushrooms for appetiser was flavorful. Good deal for lunch priced at £12.5 for a 2 course meal and £15.5 with desserts. Ambiance was pleasant. Waiters were friendly.

The staff is very friendly, and their food is incredibly flavorful, with a great variety of options to choose from. I would definitely visit again. Our server, Ms. Ginny, was very kind in recommending some excellent menu items and was also polite and gentle throughout our dining experience.

It would be a 6/5 for me on all. Threw our girls 1st bday part last friday and had the best experience. Everything was top notch and perfect. Staff was so warm.

Amazing restaurant... Hands down one of the best Indian restaurants I've been to. Each curry had a very distinct taste. The pani puri roulette where some were spicy, some sweet was great fun.. Very creamy butter chicken. The rojan josh was so succulent. Fresh naan. Can't recommend this place enough... 100% will be coming back.

Had a wonderful evening at Lounges yesterday! The place is absolutely beautiful and spotless, with a fantastic atmosphere perfect for a relaxed date night. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. We ordered the Chef's Special Omakase for two (sushi selection for two), and it was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Highly recommend a visit

Lovely atmosphere, delicious food, beautiful surroundings. Came here for a relaxed dinner and were a bit surprised how good it was! The serving staff could be a little bit more attentive. I know it's a lounge and relax is the key, however we had to catch a waiter few times though she kept walking passed us. Otherwise fantastic night out!

I had lunch with my husband and my parents. We had Sushi and dessert. The Sushi was beautifully presented and tasted amazing and authentic. We loved the ambience, the music was lovely, there was a harpist too! Thank you to the friendly staff for their warm welcome and excellent services.

very nice food. All are good taste. nice presentation of food. the shop environment is well decorated and good temperature, clean and happy mood. We reserved table and give us a quite comfy and private area. Staffs comes in often to check with your needs. Price reasonably. kids meals are good, mix and match to your preference. If you would try the single scoop adult ice cream £1.5, please order before 9pm. good for friends gathering and nice food.

The staff at The Coach and Horses made us very welcome for a family gathering prior to a wedding. At all times they were friendly, attentive and reliable. They quickly made significant adjustments to the seating arrangements to accommodate our group of 11 in a different area of the premises better suited to our limited mobility. The food was excellent and chef extremely attentive to complex dietary requirements within our party. We ate well, the food was very good and the customer service excellent. We will certainly return when we can all gather again from the different corners of the globe where we live, but people in Australia and Sweden can expect to hear The Coach and Horses recommended for good service and attention to allergens

I have dined at The Gate in Chorleywood somewhat infrequently over a 20 year period, but I must say it never disappoints. Last Sunday’s spur of the moment early evening Sunday dinner was simply heaven and the service from the young waiting staff was really fun and attentive. I don’t often post reviews but I felt it worthy of praise. If you’re a meat lover, I highly recommend the “Trio” Sunday lunch, definitely up there as one of the best I’ve ever had!

I would like to commend the professionalism and helpfulness of the General Manager David Stowell. I received a parking fine from euro car parks for innocently parking in the car park on my first visit and not being aware of the need to register my car inside. When David was made aware of this, he was onto it in an instant, communicated with me directly and has begun the process of having the fine cancelled. Much appreciated. We enjoyed the roast chicken and the salad dishes which were both tasty and well priced. Eventually a positive experience but do be aware of the need to register your car when parking!
