Smokey Woods in Borehamwood is an absolute gem. I stopped by recently and was really impressed. The chicken was perfectly crispy and packed with flavor, while the pizza was spot on with a generous amount of toppings and a nice, crunchy crust. What really stood out were the portion sizes—huge! And the best part? The prices are super cheap, so you get amazing value for your money. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff are friendly and quick to serve. It’s the perfect place for a casual meal with friends or family. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Amazing Food, Great host and the prices are mind blowingly Good. The Grill Burger and the Pizza is phenomenal. Didn’t leave any of the food and I was tempted into having the packaging. Easily was able to finish all the food because of the taste. Green sauce was amazing

We finally got round to trying out Smokey Woods. We had a warm friendly welcome. With some recommendations we had the Smoke & Loaded, to confirm that comes with a crispy fried chicken fillet and a Angus beef smashed patty, with all the trimmings and a Create your own double patty cheese burger and cajun fries. Well if the smell doesn’t get your juices flowing, your first bite will. Wow, just wow!! Amazing flavours with the chargrilled taste of the burger coming through on every bite. Everything cooked to perfection, fries were firm and crunchy. I think we have just found our new go to!! It won’t be long until we return!! 5*

The food is very nice and awesome. Specially Smokey special Burger. And did make different burger for me today which was just awesome.

We love coming to Sababa every time we’re in England. Great service, it’s clean, it’s quick and an extensive menu. Great value for money too. Raphael was our waiter, and he is friendly and attentive and patient and polite! Thank you Raphael and the staff at Sababa!

I had an amazing experience at Eagle Pit Bar & Grill! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was warm, welcoming, and full of character. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we felt right at home. The food was the real star of the night — everything was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the grilled ribs and their signature burgers — juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The sides were just as impressive, especially the loaded fries. Drinks were reasonably priced with a great selection of beers, cocktails, and spirits. The bar has a great energy, perfect for both a casual night out or a fun weekend gathering. Whether you’re local or just passing through, Eagle Pit is a must-visit. Can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely loved my visit to Eagle Pit.. The House Pizza was amazing - super tasty with just the right amount of crisp and loads of flavour. After that, I had some dessert (couldn’t say no) and it was honestly sooooo good. Finished off with a cappuccino that was just perfect. Really chilled vibes, super friendly staff and delicious food. Definitely coming back soon..

I have started using A1 golf range and to say that the service and the food at Eagle pit bar and Grill is phenomenal. Make sure you take a trip down here best place on a Saturday night for you boys to come and have a few beers and enjoy some golf with a great atmosphere. The food, service, the place itself & the price is everything you could ask for!! If you haven't been here before I recommend you go!!! Staff are pleasant -they made an effort to ensure we had everything we needed. We'll be back again for sure!! Highly recommend to all.

Visited a few weeks ago, we will be returning! Was a bit sceptical since the changeover from Amirah Lounge but we weren’t disappointed. It’s perfect for us, it’s not a loud, club like atmosphere which is what we avoid. But a little bit of background music won’t hurt :-) however, could be because they’re just starting out when we visited. The food… Melt in the mouth chops! I can’t wait to go back for that alone! Rest of the food was good too, we ordered something like a mixed grill. Really tasty! Don’t change the food at all! Thanks! Shisha was good too. Nothing wrong to report. Service was good - reading other reviews, I don’t think the wait was any longer than other places. No complaints from us!

Had an incredible experience at Glaze! The food was absolutely amazing — everything from the chicken and lamb to the prawns was packed with flavour. The naan was fresh and soft, perfect for soaking up all the delicious sauces. Service was top-notch — friendly, fast, and attentive, which made the whole meal even more enjoyable. One night we dined at the restaurant. We were family of five. We waited 15 minutes for our meal. But it was worth a wait. Chicken and burger meals was fresh and tasty. Service was fab. Next evening we ordered a take away delivery to near by Travelodge and they did not let us down on quality and service. Also extra portion of chips too. Thanks guys.

I had dinner here a couple of weeks ago as a request of my daughter that she what to have a meal there with her friends for her birthday. The staff , the food and the service was really good but the true star has been Ash who took care of us since the the beginning and even manage to help to have something to blow the candles preparing a Nutella pizza for us. My daughter and her friends were super happy and we had a really lovely time. They 4 girls had 4 mixed party and my partner a burger and a vegetable burger for me.

Nice Italian restaurant in Borehamwood. Busy place, which was quite noisy. We booked a table in advance for five people, but they only had one for four people available. Despite this, the food was tasty and represented good value for money. I will definitely return again for another meal.

The food was absolutely fantastic! Came here for a birthday treat while away for the night, and it didn’t disappoint. Truly one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Staff were also very friendly and welcoming, and they even kept the kitchen open late to make a banana and custard calzone - highly recommended!

Paolo’s Italian Kitchen – A Must-Visit! We had an amazing lunch at Paolo’s Italian Kitchen in Borehamwood! The food was fresh, flavourful, and authentically Italian. From the starters to main course everything was outstanding, and the dessert was the perfect sweet finish. Service was friendly and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I was walking past a bit skeptical what this place was but thought I’d give it a go. Delicious and very friendly. I had the salt and pepper chicken which was tasty. They make it fresh around the back so takes 10mins to cook

Delicious and varied menu options. This is the third time I have eaten here, had the tacos this time. Consistently good and very good value at £9 per main course. Very nice people run the business. Highly recommended.

Top service, amazing fresh tasty food, and what an amazing idea for top street food, top lunches. Today I had the best Mac ‘n’ cheese with crispy bacon lardons, and 1/2 for my evening dinner…. I’ve tried there minted lamb shank & mash, beef brisket & mash, Irish strew, and salt ‘n’ pepper chicken + basmati rice… loving my lunches to the boring standard high street lunch 👌👌👌👌👌

Tried this spot for the first time today. As someone who has eaten at almost all of the businesses on the high street over the years, this is one of the best lunches I've had in Borehamwood. Service was quick and efficient, the food was as fresh as delicious, and the customer service was also great. I'll definitely grab lunch here on my way home whenever I finish early from now on! Plus, they take pre-orders via their socials, which makes this a great spot for people who need to grab their food quickly on their lunch breaks.

Great food, staff friendly and accommodating, nice vibe!

Popped in for brunch on a Sunday morning. Food is the standout for me here. It's great quality for a very reasonable price. We had one of the breakfasts, a shake and a juice between us - sausage was amazing, eggs poached perfectly, toast well buttered and baked beans not too runny. Both the shake and the juice were exactly as advertised and we really enjoyed them. The menu as a whole is excellent and the plates on the other tables looked equally as good. Only thing i would say is that if you like your cafes on the quieter side then Sundays morning possibly not for you. Complete recommend. You won't be dissapointed.

As cafe's go, this one is different gravy. Quality bacon, cumberland sausages. If it were closer I would come here waymore often. Everything you need in a good greasy spoon. Easy parking too and friendly service. Spot on!

We were staying at Home Farm and ordered a takeaway for lunch. We had the hot salt beef sandwich, toasted ham & cheese and the chicken, mayo & sweetcorn baguette. Each sandwich came with a side salad which was very tasty. The food was incredibly delicious and so fresh! It was also packaged really well.

I have come here a few times now as I live 5 min walk from and I can't fault the food from breakfast brunch and dinner my husband loves this place as well. We also been to the one in stanmore and it is just as good. Everything is fresh. What I like the place is busy when a place is busy you know the food atmosphere is good. Thank you to all the staff.

The food was amazing. The King Prawn's reminded me my Mum dish back in Italy 🇮🇹 The portions are generous, the waitress is kind and professional, we been few times and i trying different dish all of them delicious. I definitely recommend.

Went for breakfast with the girls. I had the Barracuda Breakfast...delicious. The Mediterranean breakfast, avocado, halloumi,poached eggs etc was amazing too.

Recently reopened under a new management team, Linger & Taste is a fantastic spot for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. We went for breakfast this morning, and were greeted by a friendly team, quick and attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere. The food is well priced, ample portions and exactly what you should expect from a casual breakfast spot. They have the traditional British breakfast combinations, as well as omelettes, smoothies, and other lighter options. Value for money is perfect. I would definitely come back and would be excited to try lunch or dinner menu options.

First time visit to Taste and Linger, the owners Selim and Emine are wonderfully warm and welcoming. The restaurant has a really nice vibe to it, the food (most important) was fantastic, it was extremely fresh and tasty, we had a breakfast from the menu and tried the Baclava, which is worthy of a visit for by itself. Its rare now to find great value on high quality food, this definitely won't be our last visit. Recommended.

My family and I love to eat. We went to this breakfast place upon a recommendation. Since then, we go there almost every weekend as a family. Their food is fresh and they use quality ingredients. Their service is also very fast and very good. If you go there once, it becomes a habit. There are few good restaurants like this these days. So it can be tried.
