Mel and the nurses are fantastic..My ex feral cat has been very well looked after since his adoption thanks in great part to this veterinary surgery. He's been coming here for over 7 years for his checkups and occasional health issues. Judging by what I have seen with my cat, who still is shy, shy cats will benefit from Mel's calm and kind soft spoken manner.

We have been using Mel, Karen and all the other wonderful vets and nurses at Halian for about 14 years now with both our cat Lucky and latterly dog, Poppy. They are all super friendly, caring and knowledgable, always having the best interests of pets first. We can’t recommend them highly enough. P&C.

To everyone who ever needs the most supportive, understanding and loving vets ever ! My boy Joe has passed today at the age of 17 he has had an amazing life with out the amazing staff and vets at Halian I believe this would not have been made possible to be the best family member anyone could want !!!! Thank you Halian for giving Joe all the unconditional love you gave him !!!!!

Halian Vets are a fantastic practice. The whole team are so kind and caring. I had an emergency with my cat and everyone truly went above and beyond! Pablo was able to be seen straight away and he is now back home with us and recovering after a successful procedure today. Thank you to everyone for taking such wonderful care of him. We are so grateful!

The Marshalwicks team are professional, helpful and empathetic. They have done everything they can for our very poorly doggy over the past year. We are thankful for the care he continues to receive.

Rosie, from be greeted by her to make the treaded appointment and her taking me though the steps of what was to come. She was warm and friendly and very understanding On the day itself again she made the process so much easier, she really highlights the importance of the front of house. Very accommodating of the tailored needs of your pet! Great vet surgery. Procedure prices are a little expensive, relatively speaking.

Took the cat with some ear problems. Was dealt with brilliantly by the super friendly and efficient team. They managed the medicine so it didn’t cost too much (advised to go back next day when a smaller version that we need would be available). We mentioned that we are looking into getting a dog and the vet provided us with a fact sheet they had authored, which across 2 pages of printed A4 paper, I learned the most valuable lessons as a dog novice. I’ll include here because this is great advice that everyone should see. What a brilliant practice and amazing people! Thank you.

Could not recommend this veterinary surgery highly enough. They’ve always been kind and caring looking after my much loved cat over the years. When he was sick they really pulled out all the stops to give him the best treatment and care. Today sadly at 17 years old, he had to be put to sleep and again the team at Animalism were fantastic not just with my pet but with his blubbering mum! I can’t recommend Heath Lodge enough! The staff are really kind, they answer all your questions and are incredibly good at soothing distressed animals. We wouldn’t take our cats anywhere else.

Very happy with the service. Ronny at reception greeted us with treats and a ball to make our dog Kiwi feel welcome and comfortable on her first visit after our recent move to the area. The purpose of our visit was to get Kiwi vaccinated against rabies and plan to get her travel documents in order for our upcoming holiday. Heather the vet was really helpful, knowledgeable and a magician with keeping Kiwi distracted during the jab. She didn't even seem to notice she was getting an injection! Overall very happy with this vet.

Our first visit yesterday to Creature Comfort St Albans and wow such a beautiful place, everything has been thought out and Rex especially loved the treat wall, we saw Rebecca and she was fantastic, we told her Rex wasn’t good at the vets and she was just brilliant with him! Today we took Flossie and Lilah our Weimeraner’s for their first consultation with Charlotte at Creature Comforts. The attention to detail within the practice and from all the staff was fantastic from start to finish. The time with Charlotte the Vet was relaxed, not rushed, I felt she listened to all my concerns and was thorough in her examination of the dogs. Flossie had to stay for a procedure and the whole team were so supportive in ensuring she was well looked after and kept me informed during the afternoon. I would highly recommend Creature comforts. Flossie still hasn’t given up her free ball and loved the treats!!

Although this will be the most aesthetically pleasing vets you’ve ever been to, that isn’t even the best part. The staff are kind, knowledgeable and the appointment was thorough. We didn’t feel rushed at all, and came out with many options to resolve my dog’s condition, which was a relief. Our previous vets didn’t recommend such pathways or offer the treatment we were given. Lots of treats and lots of time shared. My dog even cried for the vet when they stepped out of the consultation room 🥲 Very happy.

My cat Albus was very poorly & Village Vet worked tirelessly to diagnose & treat him. He was in their hospital all weekend & the vets (Jennifer D & Anna) kept me informed of his condition throughout the weekend, and they were compassionate & kind to me (as a very distressed pet owner!) I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this vet surgery

Outstanding care received today for our beagle Rosie from Ella. She was absolutely brilliant with her and listened to all our concerns and worked through them methodically. She handled Rosie with kindness and compassion but also knew when it was time to get the job done. Thank you Ella for your expertise and for also making the experience warm and heartfelt. We are truly grateful.

Literally cannot thank you all enough for rescuing the hedgehog yesterday. He's released and gone back to his little life. Thank you

Great veterinary practice! They took in an injured wild hedgehog today, from a member of the public. The hedgehog had a broken hind leg, flystrike, was cold and dehydrated. They removed the flyeggs, warmed and gave her an xray. She's now been passed to us for rehabilitation (her leg will need splinting) and they have offered to do follow up xrays for her. This is a good veterinary practice who cares about wildlife, whilst sadly many vet practices would have just had her put to sleep. - London Colney Hedgehog Rescue

First class service, we have had the best for our animals everytime, they gave us the best help and advice with support for our beautiful German Shepherd Shyla all through her terminal illness to the very end..... A massive thank you to Taymar, I felt reassured leaving my little friend with her after he passed away. She made sure my wishes were fulfilled and I received even more little touches which was a lovely surprise and so heart warming 🫶🏼 the receptionist, a young lady with light hair, was so compassionate when I came to collect the ashes. Couldn’t recommend them enough 💓

Incredibly sensitive and compassionate staff. Treated our boy like their own and supported us and him through the end of his life with care and love. The team clearly care about every pet that comes through their door and provides a really personal service. The card that came a few days later really made us appreciate the care we all received. Went for an emergency appointment with my cat. Everyone was very kind and caring. Did the blood test and they allowed us to stay with my cat while we waited.

This clinic is great. Everyone that works there is very nice and answers all your questions as a pet parent (putting your mind at ease). The facility is clean and you know your pet will be in caring hands. We recently attended a Puppy party where they had a behaviorist attend as well. It was really nice to be around other puppies and gain further insight on being a better dog parent. If you're looking for a vet in the area, highly recommend!

I wish everyone was like Dr Rinat and team. The only person who loved them more was my ten year old and my cat whose life she undoubtedly saved, leaving her lunch on the table on a Saturday afternoon! Thank you so much again, I’ve changed my vet to Pawvet now. Outstanding care, professional, compassionate and just so kind and knowledgable. Even taking the time to show us X-rays so also interesting and educational. Cannot recommend enough.

We found a lost dog running around St Albans and rang this vet after the local police were unresponsive. We got a really friendly and calm response from this vet. When we bought the little dog in they were calm, friendly and informative. They let us stay there for as long as needed, till they closed. They gave us water for the dog and lent us a slip lead.

Lovely experience, the staff were so helpful and informative. I bought a fish tank and 2 fish for my daughters birthday, I'm a very happy customer. I was served by a lovely lady called Ally, who gave me all the support and advice I needed to get the most for my money and the best gift. I would definitely recommend them as they had lots of gift ideas in store.
