So lucky to be in catchment area of this wonderful vets . James came saw Finley with nurse and put me and Finley at ease . Took bloods and rechipped as couldn’t locate . Happy cat and owner . So happy to have local vet that puts pets first at very good prices

Lovely vet arrived called Mike. Really put us at ease at a very sad time. Putting our old dog of 14 years to rest in very dignified way once it was done he took her away wrapped in a blanket. No stress of waiting rooms. Really recommend for anyone having to face this to recommend this option

Really happy with how Christina looked after my French bulldog during her lump removal, they provided a very good price compared to our old vets in Ware, sent an itemised bill afterwards, explained everything that was going to be done and got her done very quickly first thing in the morning so she was ready to come home by lunch. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and have switched to their vet practise for all our vet care. Thank you Christina!

We had to say goodbye to our 15 year old Jack-chi Lolly on Friday Dr Mike And Leighanne came out prompt on 10am they spoke with empathy and compassion knowing our little baby lolly was to be released from her misery of a congenital heart disease. Three Bears are amazing I wouldn’t use any one else they are true Animals lovers unlike these chain vets thank you Mike and leighanne for helped our lolly over the rainbow bridge x

Excellent, we have used Hammonds vets on multiple occasions for many of our fury children. My elderly grandmother with mobility issues called me today extremely upset that her beloved elderly chihuahua was very unwell. They attended her home quickly and with great professionalism and compassion peacefully put her dog to sleep. Thank you so much for being so kind.

We had Cassie attend an out of hours call out and she was brilliant throughout! She explained every step of what needed to be done, she saw nothing as an obstacle and remained professional and realistic! Highly recommend and thank you for all your help!

Big thank you to reception and to the vet who came out to my emergency when sadly I had to have my sheep euthanised. Both were calm, friendly and caring during a traumatic time for me. Would throughly recommend.

Lauren came out to check our pony after she had been lame for sometime. Her kindness and compassion towards Rosie was extremely reassuring. Her explanation was very straightforward and unhurried. Our greyhound had many teeth taken out a month ago and my husband and I were so impressed with the level of care and professionalism shown towards our dog and ourselves. We only joined the practice last Summer and we have nothing but praise for all the staff we come across. The reception staff are always accommodating either over the phone or in person and when our dog had the operation we were so impressed with Chris and Chloe. So happy to have them.

Got recommended this vets by a friend and we have been so impressed by them. Have been with them for almost two years and I think you would struggle to find more caring and compassionate people who work there. Receptionists are always SO helpful and informative, you get welcomed with such warm smiles, any vet or nurse we have interacted with have been absolutely fantastic and they all genuinely love and care about all animals. Having tried a couple of practices and not been happy I moved all my pets over a year ago (Labrador, cat and tortoises) to Chestnut Vets. I am really happy with the service I have received. Particularly from Chris Snow. He is caring and has a brilliant way of explaining everything so you know all your options and can make an informed decision on a plan of action (when faced with difficult decisions.) All treatment recommended has been made with the best interest of the particular pet which has not always felt this way in the past. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
