This is a truly excellent garage. They carry out MOTs but also the full range of garage services. Dan (the manager) is super helpful and a pleasure to deal with. On top of that, they are resourceful and their prices are very reasonable indeed. They have just saved my old Vauxhall Tigra by replacing one of the window motors/regulator which is essential to seal the door after opening on this particular car because of the ridiculously over engineered folding roof. The part was not available new any more from Vauxhall (the car being 17 years old) but Dan sourced a second hand one on eBay and then fitted it for me for £200 all in (including the MOT!). I honestly can't recommend them highly enough.

I have used this garage twice now, the first time in May 2024 and the second time 1st February 2025. I am very pleased with the quality of the work and the customer service. They gave me a call regarding my front brake pads and discs, explaining fully where they were at (almost 85% worn) and gave me the choice of what to do. Being a sensible chap, I gave them the go ahead to replace them. I had a full service and the front brake pads & discs replaced at a reasonable cost, certainly much cheaper than the main dealer. The staff are friendly and give good honest advice. I would certainly recommend bringing your vehicle here for any work that needs doing on it. My car is a 2019, Skoda Superb SEL Exec and it drives like an absolute dream, like it's straight off the forecourt. Thank you to the team at Hertford Service Centre and I will see you in a fortnight, when I bring my car in for her MOT.

I’ve been using this garage for many years for all the family cars on and off and they have never failed me! Today I was reminded of this when I asked if they could check under my car after I had scraped over a high kerb stones. They quickly fitted me in first thing in the morning, checked nothing damaged, reattached a plastic cover that had come undone and reassured me all was fine! All at no charge! Danny sorted out the repair of my wheels which were pretty badly kerbed. The results look better than new, and he even tidied up & painted the hubs and callipers for no extra charge. This has been by far without a doubt the greatest mechanic I have ever been to! Their service was absolutely fantastic! My car needed several repairs. When they took it in they provided several photos of everything they were doing at all times. When they called me to say it was going to be a certain amount of money, I mentioned my MOT was due in a week and they said they would do that at the same time. I asked for a service at the same time and they did it no questions asked. They collected my car for free, returned my car to My house free and included a free clean inside and out of my car. Amazing service! 10/10, A+++, If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Excellent service from Total car care , I’m so impressed and beyond amazed at the quick fix for my car . I had my car collected on Thursday morning , and it was dropped back the following day . The work was carried out to a high and immaculate standard , and you couldn’t even tell there was a dent or damage to it. It came back to me like factory finish .Pleasantly surprised that my car was returned with a very good clean to the outside , which was a lovely touch .
