Staff are all fantastic, reception & accounts very friendly. Nursing staff are amazing, all very caring and just lovely lovely people. Can't rate them highly enough. Our dog has been well cared for and is still receiving excellent treatment with Hydrotherapy.

Came here after vet referred us for undiagnosed issue - staff was efficient and considerate, explained everything in detail. Got 2-3 update calls daily while my cat was admitted. Thank you so much for taking good care of her!

First time visit recommended by my vet..my 10 month old dog had to have an eye operation. I was very happy with the service I received and operation went well it's been just weeks and had a check up and staff was very happy with his condition and pleased his improving well. Price was very reasonable considering they basically saved his eye sight..very happy with all round treatment from start to finish. Great hospital for animals plus staff amazing. We have been going here for more years than I can remember for our dogs to donate blood. This is so important, it could save a dogs life. The nurses that take the donation are very caring and always remeber the dogs names when we visit. If you have dogs who can donate, it a good day out. My wife that is disabled always enjoys it. Please contact them, if you feel that this is something your dog and you could do.

Excellent specialist centre with professional specialists. Detailed diagnosis given along with kindness and care to my pet Florence who is a very anxious little dog. Julian was very thorough, explained the procedure and diagnosis in detail, has followed up with us since leaving with advice and blood results. Highly recommend for complex animal health issues and specialised care.

My precious Tyger was referred to Davies as there was a problem with one of his eyes and our own Vet had said the eye would probably be have to be removed 😞 We were treated with empathy and the staff were so caring and treated Tyger with such care and concern.The process for Tyger was explained from start to finish and concern was shown to myself too. Tyger had surgery and is now at home making a good recovery my heart felt thanks to all at Davies for the caring treatment of Tyger 😻

We were extremely nervous, having not been to a referral vet before and having been with the same vet for a really long time. We shouldn't have worried at all. From only a few hours after our vet made the referral, we were offered an appointment as early as the next day. Staff were helpful and friendly, they were able to reassure us even though we were facing a potentially significant diagnosis for our cat. They were clear about the process and what the costs were likely to be initially, which gave us the opportunity to prepare before the appointment. At our appointment, Anna was just exceptional, she was so gentle and thorough when assessing our cat and her experience and expertise was clear. She went through the diagnosis (thankfully, in our case a less significant diagnosis than we had been referred as) carefully ensuring we understood treatment options and followup plan, as well as providing options for obtaining the medication we needed. The discharge letter was the most thorough I have ever seen (pet or human!). The fees are more expensive than your regular vet, but it obviously costs a huge amount to run such a specialised animal hospital. The initial consultation fee was more than our insurance would cover for specialist consultation fees, but the price was made clear to us at point of booking and we were able to plan accordingly. After the appointment, their team completed and submitted the insurance form promptly, which was appreciated. Since then, we've had regular contact with the vet that saw us, and when our regular vet needed some further advice, they were able to get it promptly from Davies - the aftercare has been exceptional and we have no hesitation in recommending them.

Genuinely blown away but this outstanding facility and all the lovely happy staff that work here. Our sausage was admitted for investigative work today and the love and support received for her was amazing. Our vet Sophie was remarkable. So kind and caring but clearly very knowledgeable and excellent at her job and able to relay information in a really understandable way. For the first time ever I had no problem leaving my little sausage as I knew in my heart she was going to be so loved and looked after and she definitely was. She’s a very anxious soul and she was unusually happy at this vets and not obviously shaking and anxious like she usually would be. The reception team were also fantastic and incredibly friendly. Will definitely be recommending to everyone!

The Avenue vet has a very sound aim to give satisfactory service for both pet and their owner. The staff are really supportive and attempt to gain the best possible outcome of treatment for the animal being treated, furthermore cared for. Excellent veterinary practice.

I took my 15 year old male cat yesterday 24 th August 2022 as a Emergency appointment due to him not being well for the last 30 hours. The receptionist was very helpful, polite and caring. I got a appointment very quickly saw the vet which done tests and injections on my cat explained everything which was wrong with my cat. You can tell all the staff that work here love and really care for the animals Expensive price's but worth the money.

The staff were very sensative and caring when i took my little dog to be cremated..when i collected him , i was overwhelmed by the kind gestures that was given along with his ashes , a hand written card and some seeds to plant in his memory . The staff were very understanding and caring when i came in to collect my boy...thankyou Highfield staff .

We had to have our little Loki put to sleep and everyone was lovely. In the lead up to this the vets did everything they could to help him

I'm an inexperienced dog owner. The vets and all staff have been very understanding of that. They've given great advice, been accommodating of appointments at short notice and just generally really helpful. They send reminders of appointments, are able to rearrange when circumstances change and the fees are reasonable. I'm very pleased I have my dog registered here. I feel she's well looked after. My only comment would be parking can be difficult!

We were referred to Hammond Vets by the Royal Vet College after our pet chicken suffered a prolapse earlier this week. Although it was pretty obvious that nothing could be done to help her, I honestly think the same care would have been given if she were a prized racehorse. The compassion shown to my son (who hand reared her) was wonderful and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Lauren came out to check our pony after she had been lame for sometime. Her kindness and compassion towards Rosie was extremely reassuring. Her explanation was very straightforward and unhurried. Lauren cane up with various options for us to consider. We never felt pressured, just informed. I would certainly recommend her.

Big thank you to reception and to the vet who came out to my emergency when sadly I had to have my sheep euthanised. Both were calm, friendly and caring during a traumatic time for me. Would throughly recommend.

Excellent, we have used Hammonds vets on multiple occasions for many of our fury children. My elderly grandmother with mobility issues called me today extremely upset that her beloved elderly chihuahua was very unwell. They attended her home quickly and with great professionalism and compassion peacefully put her dog to sleep. Thank you so much for being so kind.

Highly recommend this vets. Helpful receptionists and knowledgeable vets. Richard is the go to for Greyhounds , he really knows his breed and is calm and sensible with his approach. Started using them after our local vet was bough out by Medivet. Very efficient and helpful. Been using them for a year for our new rescue German Shepherd. Usually see Emily or Mark. Both excellent.

Our greyhound had many teeth taken out a month ago and my husband and I were so impressed with the level of care and professionalism shown towards our dog and ourselves. We only joined the practice last Summer and we have nothing but praise for all the staff we come across. The reception staff are always accommodating either over the phone or in person and when our dog had the operation we were so impressed with Chris and Chloe. So happy to have them.

Having tried a couple of practices and not been happy I moved all my pets over a year ago (Labrador, cat and tortoises) to Chestnut Vets. I am really happy with the service I have received. Particularly from Chris Snow. He is caring and has a brilliant way of explaining everything so you know all your options and can make an informed decision on a plan of action (when faced with difficult decisions.) All treatment recommended has been made with the best interest of the particular pet which has not always felt this way in the past. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

This vet practice has gone above and beyond for us and our beloved dog, they've been really helpful throughout the whole process, reassuring us when we were very stressed. All the nurses, vet and receptionists have been so lovely and helpful, helping us understanding what is going on and always putting our minds at ease when we had questions and concerns. Amazing communication with us throughout it all, and even with the ongoing vet appointments, explaining everything really well when we struggled to understand what was happening. I have been with this vets for over 30 years. As you can imagine I’ve had a number of dogs. I recently got a new puppy, after the death of my springer. I have never considered moving vets. All the staff are friendly, supportive and professional. I can honestly say, I would 100% recommend them.

My dog never used to like going to the vet but he pulls us in the door now. Loves all the vet nurses and charges in the minute Paul calls him. Always comes out wagging his tail. Paul has always picked up and treated any problems straight away. Very happy.
