We cannot say enough good things about Rebecca, not only is she an absolutely fantastic wedding planner, she is a delight to be around! Little did Rebecca know when she took us on in 2019 she would end up planning three weddings for us (!), first the one that didn't happen due to COVID, then a small intimate wedding with a couple of friends during the pandemic, and finally a big celebration this year. Every detail was beautiful, she is so creative, organised, warm and professional. Nothing was too much trouble - she coordinated the most beautiful flowers and venue as well as creative extras like gift bags and a creche for children, coffee and mimosa bars - even luggage tag favours / place-cards. Sadly some beloved family could not make it at the last minute, and she helped me sort a projector for a speech recording which was so special. Above all, on the day she made everything run so smoothly that we could just relax and have a great time. It says quite a lot that when we gave thanks to our family and guests, we gave a shout out to Rebecca and everyone cheered despite them having only met her that day! Sarika and her team did an AMAZING job with my wedding. The communication was great the entire time, and Sarika was able to help with vision and expectations and helped to take some of the stress away from wedding planning. The venue looked so beautiful on the day and I loved all the small aspects of the decor that were added in to make it look exceptional. The team were timely and able to get everything set up beautifully before guests started to arrive. Kanika supplied me with some fabulous Christmas decorations (for the house) over the festive period. The service was seamless from beginning to end. Kanika took time to understand and discuss the brief, her team came in (within a few days) and made it all come to life beautifully. We made amendments along the way, again the team were beyond helpful and accommodating. Could not recommend them enough! Looking forward to working with them again soon.

What an amazing weekend we had in Cambridge for my sisters Hen Weekend. Punting was brilliant, Harry was very informative. Cocktail Making was a blast, everyone enjoyed mixing their own cocktail and playing games. The music in the venue was brilliant too!! Out Hotel was amazing and a great location close to the train station. Then only a short walk or cab/bus into the city centre. Rebecca helped me with the booking of my best friends Hen party. From start to finish her communication was clear and quick. She knew the answers to the questions I had and reassured me when I was worried about things. Excellent service, thank you Rebecca ⭐️

Focus Events were brilliant from start to finish. So we had a bit of a complicated situation for our wedding as we had hired some decorations from another company and they didn’t let us cancel once we realised their arrangements weren’t suitable for us. So to enable us to use both their decorations and also Focus Event’s own, we had to ask Focus Events to pick up the rental decorations and drop them off for us in the evening. We also asked them to remove the decorations from the wedding venue and set them up for the evening reception within the space of 3-4 hours. During the time they had to work around issues with unannounced contractors blocking the loading bay as well. This meant an extremely long and gruelling day for Fay and Jess, the dream team and they were extremely helpful throughout. Firstly they offered very generous / competitive rates so that our mistake with the other company didn’t deprive us of the wedding of our dreams. They started their actual day at around 5:30am and finished after 10:30pm on the wedding day. They arrived on time and set up a beautiful setup for the wedding day including their items and the items from the other company. They worked around all the issues they had and delivered a beautiful reception. Fay and Jess were hugely attentive throughout especially the evening part of the reception. They looked after everyone with their awesome selfie booth and regularly checked in with myself and the Bride offering to get us drinks so we could relax in the evening. At the end at 10:30 they helped deliver the hire items from the other company back to the hotel so that we could promptly return them to them the following morning. All in all an exceptional service from a lovely family company who deserve to do really well in the Wedding space. They were friendly, attentive, helpful and always offered solutions to the problems we encountered during the planning. Thanks again Fay and Jess for your help with the wedding you were both exceptional and we will never forget you.

We cannot recommend Chenai enough!! As soon as we found her website we knew she would be the perfect person to plan our wedding. The team were on top of everything the whole way through the planning process which meant that we were completely stress-free. Chenai has an amazing way of knowing what you want better than you do and brought all of our vague ideas to life! Even down to having some Ghanaian flare at our otherwise traditional, English wedding. We had the pleasure of having Chenai, Tariq and Aaron with us on our wedding day meaning that everything went off without a hitch and we knew that everything was taken care of, enabling us to relax and enjoy the day.

I contacted Chenai after my wedding had been postponed due to covid. I had lost all enthusiasm in wedding planning and needed support and advice mainly for styling! Chenai was so supportive and created a design board after listening to my ideas and making some beautiful suggestions. I fell in love with planning the wedding again, and felt confident that everything was going to look beautiful without the worry that things may not work the way I had imagined. Chenai eliminated all the stress. Our wedding was perfect. My only regret is not finishing ByChenai Events sooner.
