These guys were brilliant! I needed a new roof and the team were able to give me a very good and affordable price. At first I was debating on getting a new roof or not because of some of the quotes I had got before county roofing came along. They were very efficient, polite, and quick. It took them 4 days to take my old roof off and put my new one on and it has made my house look so much newer and tidier. The main thing is I have no more leaks and I don't have to worry about any problems with my roof for the next 15-20 years. Over the moon! Thank you guys! 😁

Whilst leaning out of a dormer window I discovered one of our very heavy slate tiles had completely detached and was likely to slide down onto the driveway below either smashing a car or worse killing someone. I immediately looked into hiring a cherry a picker to access the roof safely and using a handyman to silicon the tile into place. Half day rental was £595+vat and would be a nightmare to arrange. I decided to find a roofing company thinking maybe an expert might be the better option. I texted Radlett Roofing and immediately received a response and a much better price than the option above. Even better was the promise of completing the job the next morning - putting my mind at rest. They arrived first thing and sorted it easily. They also spotted and photographed two broken further tiles to show me, one of which was already resting in the gutter. They sorted all of it within the original quote, and were courteous and tidy. Will definitely be using them again!

I wanted the red tiles on my 3 dormers replaced with black cladding. William was helpful and professional throughout. Had a card through the door saying that Radlett Roofing would be in the area doing cleaning and repairing gutters. As it happened I needed a repair to a joint in my gutters. Called them on Thursday around 4pm. had agreed an estimate, and they were with me 9am next mromning. William looked at the work and realised it was an easir repair than I described. Work initially to rectify guttering issues but uncovered significant damage to soffit boards, so the job was immediately extended to take advantage of the scaffolding already erected. All the extra work was appropriate, confirmed by initial photos of the damage and an accompanied visit to the high working platform, then promptly completed. Upon researching them further, we did not think that some of them would be around for the next 20 years to honour their guarantees. A surveyor friend recommended TCK (who have been around since 1969 and long may they prosper!) Thomas (one of many talented and charming brothers) came along and talked me thru possible problems and the need for insulation etc. I had skylights built in and we discussed changing them to triple glazed glass. Although their quote was dearer than the others, it was worth paying the premium. Chris (another brother)- relaxed and meticulous in managing his team, some who have been with TCK for over a decade supervised the work and got stuck in as well. His team were professional, hardworking and experienced. Health & Safety was prioritised with fire extinguishers placed by the bitumen boiler etc. The job wasn’t rushed, on site problems were pointed out & remedied including spotting a TV ariel that had caused a chimney to move!. Photographs were provided to document the work and Warranty certificates provided immediately after payment. So, refreshing to experience tradecraft and courtesy in this day & age. Great service from the moment I called up to initially get a quote and to completing a full repair of my roof. Ewalina who took the call was very helpful, answered all my questions. I was then visited by Les (friendly and approachable) who took a look at the issue (ridge, loose tiles and gutter) with my roof and was able to give me a full quote (best quote I got compared to other roofering companies) and booked in the job which I did not have to wait long for the works to be carried out. We would thoroughly recommend Rooftops Watford - they have been amazing. They were reasonably priced compared to other quotes we got, they were able to schedule in the work quickly, their workmen were polite and professional and they’ve done a great job on our guttering. The owner Les also let me know that we had accidentally overpaid and returned the overpayment which we thought was incredibly honest! We would definitely use them again.
