We contacted Nayburs via Google at about 9.30pm on a Thursday night after we had water coming into a bedroom during a storm. Looking at the roof a tile had slipped leaving a gap. Got a reply almost immediately and Pat and team turned up the next day to have a look. We already knew the roof needed to be replaced in the near future but hoped to get away with a patch. Pat got me up the ladder and showed me just how bad it actually was and explained why it couldn't be patched in a manner they could guarantee. Lifting tiles showed rotten battens (crumbled to the touch), rotten, crumbling roof lining and loose ridge tiles. It was a 60 year old roof but looked unlikely to last the week let alone the coming winter. We bit the bullet and agreed on a new roof. I'd normally get a number of quotes for this type of thing but was quoted a fair price. Nayburs had the gap covered and secured, and scaffolding, skip and materials ordered the same afternoon. And started work the next day. All through the process Pat and the team were professional, tidy, on-time and sent videos of all the work they had done each day. Any question were answered immediately, day or night. We're very happy with the result and would heartily recommend Nayburs to anyone and, in fact, have already done so!

I have found AGL Roofing Ltd online and had the pleasure meeting Alan and his work colleague. He has responded my call straight away which was great. We had a lot of overgrown green on the top of our flat roof that needed to be checked and removed. Alan kindly offered a free physical check and quotation so he come out to do this promptly as arranged with him. Luckily there was no damage to the roof from the green that can often grow underneath the felt roof so we agreed on a day to come and clean it and they did a great job. Showed us photos before and after. He also cut back the overflow pipes which were causing the dampness on the roof and also fitted in a new fascia board and a new gutter on the side of the wall near the roof as the old gutter was far too close to the wall and the green was growing in the old gutter as well previously. On this day I asked Alan to check the other flat roof which was an old flat roof above our bathroom as it looked well old cracked and he has recommended to get a full replacement roof with new gutters also offered to put fascia cover on the existing fascia boards. Following the affordable quotes and agreed date he promptly turned up with his colleague and they spent a day and completed the replacement. They also taken away all of the old materials for recycling. They both were very friendly and polite all the way through and did an excellent job! I have to mention that unfortunately I was tested positive for Covid on this day and let Alan know that morning if he preferred to come out another day but he was very kind and agreed to do the job and we both kept far distance from each other and I was in quarantine inside my home while they complicated the roofing work outside of our house. Almost 2.5 years on the new roof is staying strong no leaking or any problem and we all know time can only tell with roofing if a job is well done. I would be more than to recommend Alan and his work colleague if you would like a friendly reliable and affordable service! We are very happy with AGL Roofing Ltd service and complicated job and would be happy to contact Alan again in the future if a roofing job is required. Before and after photos are attached. Alan (AGL Roofing) recently completed a project for us replacing a damaged roof in North Watford . He was reasonably priced and came recommended by family members so we knew he would do a good job. He communicated every step of the way and sent regular updates and photos ( as we do not live at the property). Alan and the team completed the job in a timely fashion and to a high standard. If we have any roofing issues in the future we will definitely use him again.

I have called Alan back a number of times for various roofing projects, including flat roofs. I recently called him back again to do a complete re-roof. AGL did an outstanding job, which was to a high standard. He always goes the extra mile to ensure that the job is done to a high specification.

Water was coming in through the roof and as I used AGL many years ago I contacted them again. Alan came round and quickly identified the problem. He temporarily sealed the area around the soil pipe. The job was then scheduled. The area around the soil pipe was stripped out, defective felt removed and new felt battened in place. A new soil pipe cover which was made by Alan was installed and tiled into place. Alan kept me informed all through the process, from first contact and even after the job was completed. Alan and Wes did a great job and I would thoroughly recommend AGL Roofing.

Although Oliver the owner could not be present his dad Mark and his team carried out the work that was agreed with professionalism and have completed a superb job, and left the property in a clean condition and disposed of all of the rubbish, couldn’t be happier with the service that they showed and given from start to finish. Nicky was great to liaise with to get an estimate and then arrange the job (we had to wait a couple of months but took that as a good sign); she kept us in the loop throughout. The quote set out a clear description of the works (unlike some of the others I received). Oliver was very good at communicating when they would arrive, was courteous throughout when making arrangements, and the team of five were on time, worked through the day with real commitment and focus, and did a very good job. Upon researching them further, we did not think that some of them would be around for the next 20 years to honour their guarantees. A surveyor friend recommended TCK (who have been around since 1969 and long may they prosper!) Thomas (one of many talented and charming brothers) came along and talked me thru possible problems and the need for insulation etc. I had skylights built in and we discussed changing them to triple glazed glass. Work initially to rectify guttering issues but uncovered significant damage to soffit boards, so the job was immediately extended to take advantage of the scaffolding already erected. All the extra work was appropriate, confirmed by initial photos of the damage and an accompanied visit to the high working platform, then promptly completed. Had a card through the door saying that Radlett Roofing would be in the area doing cleaning and repairing gutters. As it happened I needed a repair to a joint in my gutters. Called them on Thursday around 4pm. had agreed an estimate, and they were with me 9am next mromning. William looked at the work and realised it was an easir repair than I described.
