Alan (AGL Roofing) recently completed a project for us replacing a damaged roof in North Watford . He was reasonably priced and came recommended by family members so we knew he would do a good job. He communicated every step of the way and sent regular updates and photos ( as we do not live at the property). Alan and the team completed the job in a timely fashion and to a high standard. If we have any roofing issues in the future we will definitely use him again.

I have found AGL Roofing Ltd online and had the pleasure meeting Alan and his work colleague. He has responded my call straight away which was great. We had a lot of overgrown green on the top of our flat roof that needed to be checked and removed. Alan kindly offered a free physical check and quotation so he come out to do this promptly as arranged with him. Luckily there was no damage to the roof from the green that can often grow underneath the felt roof so we agreed on a day to come and clean it and they did a great job. Showed us photos before and after. He also cut back the overflow pipes which were causing the dampness on the roof and also fitted in a new fascia board and a new gutter on the side of the wall near the roof as the old gutter was far too close to the wall and the green was growing in the old gutter as well previously. On this day I asked Alan to check the other flat roof which was an old flat roof above our bathroom as it looked well old cracked and he has recommended to get a full replacement roof with new gutters also offered to put fascia cover on the existing fascia boards. Following the affordable quotes and agreed date he promptly turned up with his colleague and they spent a day and completed the replacement. They also taken away all of the old materials for recycling. They both were very friendly and polite all the way through and did an excellent job! I have to mention that unfortunately I was tested positive for Covid on this day and let Alan know that morning if he preferred to come out another day but he was very kind and agreed to do the job and we both kept far distance from each other and I was in quarantine inside my home while they complicated the roofing work outside of our house. Almost 2.5 years on the new roof is staying strong no leaking or any problem and we all know time can only tell with roofing if a job is well done. I would be more than to recommend Alan and his work colleague if you would like a friendly reliable and affordable service! We are very happy with AGL Roofing Ltd service and complicated job and would be happy to contact Alan again in the future if a roofing job is required. Before and after photos are attached. Water was coming in through the roof and as I used AGL many years ago I contacted them again. Alan came round and quickly identified the problem. He temporarily sealed the area around the soil pipe. The job was then scheduled. The area around the soil pipe was stripped out, defective felt removed and new felt battened in place. A new soil pipe cover which was made by Alan was installed and tiled into place. Alan kept me informed all through the process, from first contact and even after the job was completed. Alan and Wes did a great job and I would thoroughly recommend AGL Roofing.

I have called Alan back a number of times for various roofing projects, including flat roofs. I recently called him back again to do a complete re-roof. AGL did an outstanding job, which was to a high standard. He always goes the extra mile to ensure that the job is done to a high specification.
