“I have to say that I am astounded at how good my new staircase is. Wyvern quoted competitively, took lots of measurements and because I was asking for an open string staircase (a bit specialist and not a production line item) to match an existing Edwardian staircase, they went through the details of what they'd do thoroughly before producing the contract. Once the staircase was made, they turned up on time, cracked on with the work at an impressive pace, cleaned up after themselves every evening (much appreciated), and the end product is a thing of great beauty. They worked really hard to accommodate the uneven walls of my house so that all the custom turned newel posts lined up perfectly, they built a half landing that feels really solid and secure and managed to produce spindles that were identical to the originals so that, once painted, the new staircase will look like it has always been in the house. I feel like I got very lucky with finding Wyvern Joinery and couldn't have asked for a better outcome - highly recommended.”
