We were planning an outdoors wedding and Georgi at Scarlett Rose Events was extremely accommodating when we only wanted to hire sashes for our chairs. Georgi was so friendly to talk to when we were organising it and I felt like that part of our wedding decor was in safe hands. When the British weather decided to give us rain on our wedding day, Georgi stepped in last minute and allowed us to move our wedding inside and provided the most beautiful wedding arch dressed for our ceremony. It looked amazing and can only thank Georgi for coming to our rescue and creating such a beautiful wedding space. I would 100% recommend Georgi if you are after decor and set up for your event. The only reason why we didn’t hire more items from Georgi is because we just didn’t need it but her stock looks beautiful.

We live in California and my daughter got engaged to a man in Somerset. How does one plan a wedding from across the Pond?? You call Georgi at Scarlett Rose Events that's how! We stumbled upon her website and instantly felt safe and comfortable entrusting her with my daughter's most important day. Georgi helped us find wonderful vendors, guided us through British wedding customs and legal considerations, spent hours on Facetime getting to know our vision and even helped us plan a Hen do and rehearsal dinner. She took care of all the details and made sure the wedding day itself went flawlessly. We know we never could have accomplished what we did without her gentle guidance and amazing spreadsheets. We had the pleasure of Vickie style our wedding on 6th July 2022 at Prestwold Hall, a venue she knows extremely well! From the initial point of confirming our date and decor, Vickie was absolutely fantastic, her communication was brilliant. We then got an invite to her showroom which is absolutely amazing, Vickie had our table dressed up to what we had ordered however I wasn’t happy with it due to myself making it look rather bland so after a couple of suggestions and decor being placed on and off the table, we got some lovely looking tables! Vickie has lots of stunning items and has so much knowledge and advice to offer! On the day of the wedding Vickie set everything up and I didn’t even know she was there, her work is stunning and she is so sleek, she works alongside the venue so you don’t have to arrange times for her to set up she does everything! After the ceremony, I had to have a peek into the reception room and it looked absolutely beautiful! A huge thank you to Vickie and her team for making our tables gorgeous, we and everyone else loved them and complimented how perfect everything was! Vickie also styled our isle with a stunning ivory carpet and 6 shepherd's crooks with hanging jars of fresh gypsophila which was perfect!

I visited Vickie yesterday with so many ideas in my head needing help to bring them to life. Even from walking through the door I knew I was going to be able to find exactly what I needed. Being able to see exactly what you want in front of you is so reassuring and along with all of Vickies experience she guided me to make slight changes playing with different ideas. By the end I had everything I had ever imagined and more and left feeling very happy and confident that this was going to definitely be who I have help me with my wedding. We booked sage and Belle Styling for our wedding at Orchardleigh House on 01.09.24. Since we met Vickie she completely understood our vision for the styling of our wedding and took care of everything from our signage, to our centrepieces, cake table and present table. She made everything look beautiful and we are so glad we used her. The process was easy and I am so glad we used her as we arent left with excess bits of styling that we would have to sell or store. She went above and beyond and made sure to put our colour schemed pattern on our menus and made us reserved signs for our seats. We can't thank her enough and would highly recommend her! Where to begin?! We found Roger The Wedding Guy at a Wedding Fair back in early 2020. We were impressed by his friendly and fun personality and the range of services he had on offer. Initially we decided to book him as just our DJ for the evening but he offered the Toastmaster and iSmile photo services too at a reasonable price which we also decided to go for. On the day Roger turned up promptly and entertained some of our guests, so I have heard. He also played our ceremony music with only one very tiny hitch, which we all laughed about after and had no bearing on the joy of the day. He helped rally our guests for our confetti throw, garden games and photos and gathered everyone to come for the reception meal. He also provided background music while we had canapes and photos taken and very kindly played my favourite and unusual Kermit the Frog song, It's Not Easy Being Green! Roger was very amenable to all our unusual requests such as 3 first dance songs instead of just one! He was also incredibly professional throughout the day. When I was too warm, he magically produced a little white hand fan from his pocket to lend to me, which I thought was a nice touch! Everyone was impressed with his attention to detail. Perhaps not so much my husband though, who will now hilariously always been known as "Knobby" since Roger overheard my affectionate nickname for him and announced it several times throughout the day. :D Overall, I cannot recommend Roger The Wedding Guy enough! He was a fantastic addition to our wedding day and we can't thank him enough for all the help he provided. Cheers!!

When my husband and I initially met with Georgia at MatthewOliver Weddings, there was an instant connection. After a few weeks of initial planning, we had some unforseen circumstances arise and had to stop with proceeding on our planning. When we were ready to resume the wedding plans, Georgia was able to work us back into her schedule. We spent the next year and half planning our dream European adventure. Georgia was the perfect planner for us. She took all of our initial requirements (location, airport proximity, historical property, handicap accessibility) and found the perfect venue. Georgia managed every detail and vendor throughout the entire process, culminating in the best weekend of our lives. The strength of the Matthew Oliver team is their relationships, which when it comes to weddings, is one of the most important qualities for a wedding planner. Because of their close ties with everyone in the industry, we were able to pull off an incredible destination wedding with ease and in budget. They were extremely resourceful when it came to all of our wild requests— they found a way each time to execute our vision. Lastly, what you find is that you spend most of your time with your wedding planners and vendors during the wedding and planning process. You definitely want to like these people during such an important moment. We are lucky to still call Matthew, Bertie and team our friends and they will definitely be in our lives forever!

We booked our wedding plans well in advance of the current pandemic for 2021 and found Sweet Forrest to provide us with decoration for the venue. Unfortunately, due the pandemic we had to rethink our big day and Sarah at Sweet Forrest was absolutely marvellous to us. She made the whole process very easy, has been very supportive to us and completely professional. When cancelling our plans, Sarah offered us a refund without any hesitation and processed this instantly. We both agreed, that hiring Stacey was hands down one of the best investments we made for our wedding. On the day of the wedding, Stacey and Ali went above and beyond. They handled everything seamlessly, allowing us to relax and enjoy our special day literally zero stress. Everything was considered and organised so well, from our quick-fire family photos to Stacey’s genius plan of doing a receiving line on the way out of the drinks reception to make sure our guests started to make their way to their seats on time. We received so many compliments from our guests about Stacey and Ali and how brilliant they were. The fact that we are still WhatsApp-ing 2 months after the wedding tells you all you need to know – Stacey genuinely cares about the couples she works with. I’m really not sure where to begin with the review. I will start by saying, 5 stars is nowhere near enough for the exceptional service Stacey has provided us since the end of 2022. After getting engaged in Sep 2022, I knew I wanted a wedding planner to help my dream wedding become a reality. My fiancé and I had a few calls with planners, but when I had my call with Stacey, I knew she was the one I needed. We hired Stacey as our full wedding planner and trust me - how worth it Stacey is. Stacey has a fun, charismatic and charming nature which instantly made us feel at ease. My mum and I always love a dance, so the fact Stacey had the ‘Spice Girls’ in her insta bio - we knew she was the one for us. Stacey has worked tirelessly since then, coordinating with suppliers, replying to emails and making my stress melt away as a bride. The thing I find really unique about Stacey is she is genuinely ALWAYS on hand. She is only a message, or phone-call away and will never let you go to bed feeling stressed or upset about the wedding. Stacey has been to venue visits with us, we have had numerous calls and zoom calls with her and the service Stacey has provided is faultless, I have been truly gobsmacked with how efficient Stacey is. Whenever there has been issues, Stacey has dealt with them. Stacey has offered me advice, and I feel as though we have been a dream team together in this wedding. Stacey valued my opinion, but also knew when her professional judgement was best. She understood our needs to a T and recommended suppliers who fitted our vision and budget. The past 18 months has been an easy, fun ride due to Stacey and I feel genuinely said this part of the wedding process has come to an end. I will miss our whatsapps, voice notes and all that happened in between. You are an angel Stacey. Now if we thought the lead up was enough, the on the day service was MIND BLOWING. Stacey and her 2 coordinators, Jess and Kelly made our day memorable and all round perfect. Stacey arrived and came to check on me, she calmed me down and reassured me everything was going well. Stacey and her team took control of everything which meant I could, and also my family/bridesmaids could relax. They set up the card table, easels and most importantly the ceremony room decor which I was most nervous about. They welcomed guests, they moved decor around during the day and the most important job of them all - looked after my handbag!!!! They genuinely made sure all guests had the best day ever and were always on hand to help. Stacey and her team also ensured guests got on the coach safely which was a massive help, as we did not need to worry. Stacey and her team are fab. I cannot even put into words how much we love Stacey. She is a credit to her profession and genuinely, one of the most caring, efficient and lovely people we have ever met. We have already had so many people tell us this was the best wedding they’ve ever been to due to how well-planned it was, and some asking for Staceys number!!!! Staceys biggest achievement here is winning over my Dad! See below: “I know i told you this at the end of the evening, I was sceptical when Jhanvi and George decided to hire a wedding planner. Typical dad..."why do you want to spend that money on something we can do ourselves?" I am also not afraid to say I was wrong!!!!! Hearing about your involvement in the build up to the wedding (early days of venue selection, caterers etc etc right through to the Thursday before - even though it took 2 hours to get to Somerley) and then seeing you and your team in action on the day..........wow, wow, wow. Thank you so so much for helping make the day even more special than it was. The simple fact is we did not need to worry about anything behind the scenes and we could focus on our guests, enjoying the day/venue and of course the bride and groom.” All I can now say is - Stacey you are my FRIEND, not my PLANNER anymore. We will never forget Hope Farm for making us feel so special, and for making our wedding celebration extra special too. When we first met Sue, we knew that Hope Farm was the venue we wanted to get married in. The animals, the landscape and the warm welcome we received told us that we simply had to get married here. Having had our wedding there last weekend (31st August) I can honestly say that this is BY FAR the best venue around. Sue, Nigel, Matt and Georgia worked tirelessly to ensure the day ran smoothly alongside our caterers. Nothing was too much of an ask. Wonderful venue, beautiful decor already in place and really not needing much additional decor to be provided by ourselves, it was the most perfect day.

Nicky was very accommodating with the items i required. She send me photo's of what i wanted, to give me an idea on what i was hiring along with making the whole process nice and straightforward. Once the items were collected (by my dad) and bought to the venue i could certainly see Nicky looks after her props as the quality of the items were really good. I would thoroughly recommend Nicky and her business to anyone conducting any number of events not just weddings. We are beyond grateful to Melanie for the incredible work and dedication she put into planning our wedding at Came House earlier this year. From our introductory call until our wedding, Melanie went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly on the day. Melanie’s attention to detail is unmatched. To give one of many examples: without request from us, Melanie remembered my sensitivity to mosquito bites from an earlier conversation and arranged mosquito plugs to be placed in the bridal suite. This small but incredibly thoughtful touch meant so much. It’s this thoughtfulness and pre-empting of potential issues that really sets Melanie apart. Melanie always responded promptly to our questions/emails, often late at night or over weekends. She was incredibly patient and always put us at ease. We feel very lucky to have had Melanie and the Came House team for our wedding. Thanks to their hard work and care, we were able to enjoy the day without stressing about the details. Katie is and has been an absolute dream. She took our mad ramblings and vision and turned it into absolute perfection, our wedding day was exquisite. As we were so far away this was invaluable. We knew we were in safe hands. Nothing was too much trouble, and our late night/panicked emails and messages were met with nothing but love and enthusiasm. She provided a much needed sense of calm when the inevitable wedding stress and worry took over. No words can actually do Katie's work, or how much she has meant to us over the past 18 months, justice.

Katie was recommended to us by a mutual friend, and from the moment we met for the first planning meeting, we knew we had found the perfect fit for us. Warm, encouraging and incredibly knowledgeable, Katie guided us through the entire process from start to finish, with a calm, level head, and as much as detail as we wanted. We gave Katie our ‘vision’ for the day, and when she then presented us with mood boards and ideas at our next meet-up, she had encapsulated it perfectly. We asked her to give us colour, fun, a relaxed vibe, and a ‘festival feel’, and that’s exactly what we got. Using Style & Wonder enabled us to just focus on enjoying our day, and the lead up to it; with Katie and her team keeping all of the minuate and coordination away from us, we were able to spend extra time with family and friends, and really make the most of this incredibly special weekend.
