Absolutely fantastic job from Winterborne Hire & Styling! We rented some beautiful table decorations and flower pillars that complimented our wedding venue perfectly.They have a great range of items in their showroom and Dawn was so helpful and patient in taking through what items to choose. They are very professional and coordinated directly with the venue and had a delivery option making it seamless and efficient (one less thing for me to worry about!). Highly recommend :)

We hired Winterborne Hire & Styling for our wedding in July and honestly it was the easiest, best decision we made for our big day! Dawn was so helpful and understood our vision the entire process. She really listened and ordered in pieces we needed to really bring our colour scheme and vision to light. I can’t recommend them enough!

We used Winterborne Hire & Styling for our wedding at Abbots Court and couldn’t have been happier with the service provided! From the first visit to the styling barn with Dawn right up until the wedding day itself and after the event, Dawn was on hand to help with any questions we had. We opted to set the venue decorations up ourselves the day prior to the wedding and this was made so easy as the beautiful arches were set up for us and the rest of the items we ordered came in extremely organised boxes which saved a lot of time. We were so pleased with how Dawn helped our vision come to life and thoroughly recommend Winterborne to anybody looking for a styling service. Thank you so much for making our wedding so beautiful! Winterborne Hire and Styling were incredible at making our day extra special. I visited their lovely show room a few months prior to our wedding. After discussing what we needed, they produced some spectacular arrangements to suit the theme for our wedding and to match our fresh flowers. They delivered them on time and installed them ready for the big day, so we did not need to lift a finger. We are so glad we went with them as the arrangements really elevated our ceremony area. We were gifted a tour of this wonderful vineyard by some friends and what a lovely experience it was. Andrew and Sarah who own and run the business personally delivered the tour, and their passion and expertise came across from the outset. The environment is relaxed and the setting is beautiful. The tour ended with a generous wine tasting session and we were blown away by the quality of the wine. It is exceptional, easily better than the vast majority of Champagne you’ll ever have. So much so we treated ourselves to 6 bottles of different varieties to enjoy at home. I can highly recommend both the tour and the wine, simply exceptional.

Lovely property with the vineyards literally "touching" the tasting room, magnificent views. Matched by a knowledgeable and charming host serving some exceptionally well made sparkling wines. The range of styles is precise with each having character and pose. Well what can I say?! Our wedding day was an absolute dream from start to finish. The team is absolutely incredible, with special shout outs to Emma for her impeccable organisation and to Andrew for his flawless service. We had several mobility challenged members of our party and they left this event feeling like they’d been treated like absolute queens! Nothing was too much trouble, they were always checking everyone was happy and often anticipated what we wanted before we had even realised! We were in super safe hands and could fully relax into the day and just enjoy it. We will forever treasure these special memories that were made possible by this incredible team of people.

The most perfect day at a dream venue Patrick and I had the most incredible experience getting married at Mapperton. From the moment we first visited we knew it was the perfect venue for us due to how flexible, versatile and stunning it is. Holly our amazing wedding coordinator was one of the reasons we chose the venue and is a true asset to Mapperton. She was there to take us through the whole process, being a fountain of knowledge for amazing suppliers in the South West and nothing was too big an ask. Most importantly she made sure our day ran like clockwork and we couldn't have asked for a better day. Our guests have given us so many compliments saying it is the favourite wedding they have ever been to and this is all thanks to the hard work put in by the team at Mapperton. We can't wait to pop in, take a walk around the stunning Italian gardens and visit the Mapperton family to remember our special day.

The absolute most perfect wedding venue ever! Mapperton had everything that we wanted and we absolutely fell in love with it, no venue in the area compared!! It was a complete blank canvas in the coach house which we really liked and there were many ceremony options (inside and outside) but we opted with the croquet lawn which was simply stunning. The gardens are sensational and many of our guests have said it’s the most beautiful wedding venue they have ever been to. There’s two cottages on site too so we used one for the bridal party and then one for the grooms, this was such an amazing option to have and really added to the whole weekend experience! Holly our wedding co-ordinator was incredible, so kind and understanding. No question was too big and she helped us quickly on any wedding advice / help that we needed. We really appreciated her being there through anything that we needed, she was amazing on the day and it all ran smoothly which was completely all her hard work but also leading up to the wedding too. She helped so much & we truly appreciate her! She really understood our vision. If you are thinking of booking Mapperton for your wedding then DO IT, it was simply a dream come true that we will remember for the rest of our lives!! :)

WHAT A VENUE! Having shot at venues all over Mapperton is just incredible. It has everything, and I mean everything. Multiple choices for the ceremony, STUNNING grounds, gorgeous barn. It honestly has it all. The staff are wonderful, so welcoming and really take care of their suppliers - which means they take care of their couples. It's a dream venue!

Having Rosie as part of our wedding day (and the months leading up to it) was one of the best decisions we made. She was so calm, composed and “on it” throughout the whole process that we couldn’t help but feel that way too! She is incredibly knowledgeable and just bubbling with amazing ideas. Having a marquee wedding on our family farm, we really appreciated her expert eye but also her focus on the environment and sustainability. My only regret is that we discovered Rosie about halfway through our planning - I only wish we could have worked with her from the beginning.

We first found The Orangery Suite within the few days after we got engaged in Mauritius. We emailed Becky whilst we were still abroad and viewed the venue the week after we got back to the UK and the venue looked amazing, even in the British rain! We looked at one other venue, just to say we had compared it to another place, but we knew instantly that it was the perfect venue for us. We are active people and can get bored easily, so all of the games and activities really appealed to us, along with the beautiful grounds! Becky, Scott and Louise have done the best job since taking over the venue and have really refreshed the look, including refurbishing inside the orangery suite and the outside bathrooms. Everything looked great on the day and it ran so smoothly, thanks to all of their efforts! Nothing was too much trouble for them and they helped answer and resolve any questions I had. All of our guests have commented on how perfect the venue was and what a good find it was. They all enjoyed playing all of the games, especially the mini golf, badminton, table football and basketball net! They were also so welcoming of our 2 dogs, Ted and Alfie, who also really enjoyed the day being ring bearers. There were no restrictions on how long they could stay or where they could go and it was so nice to know they were just as welcome as all of the humans! It really was the best day ever and we are so grateful to The Orangery Suite!

With lots of fabulous photo opportunities and activities for all ages, to keep guests occupied! Louise and Becky were really lovely to work with, and made sure that everything was perfect for us all. The place is super cozy, with stunning, picturesque views. I went there with my art group for a plein air painting session and absolutely loved it. The serene surroundings and well-kept beautiful garden make it a perfect spot for relaxing and getting inspired. Highly recommended!

We had my nieces tipi wedding at this stunning setting. Lord and lady Caroline made us feel so welcome. They seamlessly helped with the little bits behind the scenes to make a very perfect wedding weekend. Having already done a tipi wedding five years previously. I can only support and endorse what a great place for a wedding with such super hosts Lord and Lady Michael and Caroline Salt.

A beaming bride reviewing..... I cannot begin to thank Caroline and Michael enough for letting myself and Rufus have our wedding day at Shillingstone House, not only was the day itself so magical and joyous in their beautiful grounds, but the lead up to the day was fantastic. Caroline was extremely helpful and really took the time to understand what we wanted for the day and liaised with suppliers beforehand to help the day run smoothly. It's amazing that you can hire the grounds Friday -Sunday, it made decorating a really relaxing and enjoyable task as we had the whole day Friday to set up the site. I really loved Caroline's blog on her website as it was a great way to draw inspiration and again, I could see all the love and care she put into people's weddings days. Shillingstone House definitely doesn't feel like a wedding venue where you are on a conveyor belt and just a number- the whole day felt so personal. We are so so grateful that we got to have our wedding at Shillingstone House, our guests loved the beautiful fields and sensational flowers, there really was beauty everywhere you turned! What a pleasure it was to perform a Handfasting at the weekend in the utterly stunning setting of the grounds of Shillingstone House... one of the most beautiful venues I've seen yet - flawlessly styled and spotlessly clean, with breath taking countryside views and wonderful hosts. I’m really not sure where to begin with the review. I will start by saying, 5 stars is nowhere near enough for the exceptional service Stacey has provided us since the end of 2022. After getting engaged in Sep 2022, I knew I wanted a wedding planner to help my dream wedding become a reality. My fiancé and I had a few calls with planners, but when I had my call with Stacey, I knew she was the one I needed. We hired Stacey as our full wedding planner and trust me - how worth it Stacey is. Stacey has a fun, charismatic and charming nature which instantly made us feel at ease. My mum and I always love a dance, so the fact Stacey had the ‘Spice Girls’ in her insta bio - we knew she was the one for us. Stacey has worked tirelessly since then, coordinating with suppliers, replying to emails and making my stress melt away as a bride. The thing I find really unique about Stacey is she is genuinely ALWAYS on hand. She is only a message, or phone-call away and will never let you go to bed feeling stressed or upset about the wedding. Stacey has been to venue visits with us, we have had numerous calls and zoom calls with her and the service Stacey has provided is faultless, I have been truly gobsmacked with how efficient Stacey is. Whenever there has been issues, Stacey has dealt with them. Stacey has offered me advice, and I feel as though we have been a dream team together in this wedding. Stacey valued my opinion, but also knew when her professional judgement was best. She understood our needs to a T and recommended suppliers who fitted our vision and budget. The past 18 months has been an easy, fun ride due to Stacey and I feel genuinely said this part of the wedding process has come to an end. I will miss our whatsapps, voice notes and all that happened in between. You are an angel Stacey. Now if we thought the lead up was enough, the on the day service was MIND BLOWING. Stacey and her 2 coordinators, Jess and Kelly made our day memorable and all round perfect. Stacey arrived and came to check on me, she calmed me down and reassured me everything was going well. Stacey and her team took control of everything which meant I could, and also my family/bridesmaids could relax. They set up the card table, easels and most importantly the ceremony room decor which I was most nervous about. They welcomed guests, they moved decor around during the day and the most important job of them all - looked after my handbag!!!! They genuinely made sure all guests had the best day ever and were always on hand to help. Stacey and her team also ensured guests got on the coach safely which was a massive help, as we did not need to worry. Stacey and her team are fab. I cannot even put into words how much we love Stacey. She is a credit to her profession and genuinely, one of the most caring, efficient and lovely people we have ever met. We have already had so many people tell us this was the best wedding they’ve ever been to due to how well-planned it was, and some asking for Staceys number!!!! Staceys biggest achievement here is winning over my Dad! See below: “I know i told you this at the end of the evening, I was sceptical when Jhanvi and George decided to hire a wedding planner. Typical dad..."why do you want to spend that money on something we can do ourselves?" I am also not afraid to say I was wrong!!!!! Hearing about your involvement in the build up to the wedding (early days of venue selection, caterers etc etc right through to the Thursday before - even though it took 2 hours to get to Somerley) and then seeing you and your team in action on the day..........wow, wow, wow. Thank you so so much for helping make the day even more special than it was. The simple fact is we did not need to worry about anything behind the scenes and we could focus on our guests, enjoying the day/venue and of course the bride and groom.” All I can now say is - Stacey you are my FRIEND, not my PLANNER anymore. Katie was absolutely fantastic from start to finish with helping us plan and pull off our wedding day. She was always there if we had any questions or needed any advice during the planning stages. The styling on the actual day itself was amazing. Flowers and decorations were stunning and Katie always found clever ways to move and re-use the flowers etc to enhance every stage of the day without being wasteful! Having her coordinating on the day was so helpful, it meant we didn't have to worry about everything else going on and we could focus on getting ready and getting married! Katie is and has been an absolute dream. She took our mad ramblings and vision and turned it into absolute perfection, our wedding day was exquisite. Her talent for venue styling and floristry is utterly incredible. Our flowers, not just our bouquets but also the general venue flowers, were simply stunning, she absolutely nailed the colour theme. It was better than we could have even imagined. There were so many comments on the day about how beautiful the venue looked. Not only this but Katie provided us with wedding planning services too. As we were so far away this was invaluable. We knew we were in safe hands. Nothing was too much trouble, and our late night/panicked emails and messages were met with nothing but love and enthusiasm. She provided a much needed sense of calm when the inevitable wedding stress and worry took over. Nicky was very accommodating with the items i required. She send me photo's of what i wanted, to give me an idea on what i was hiring along with making the whole process nice and straightforward. Once the items were collected (by my dad) and bought to the venue i could certainly see Nicky looks after her props as the quality of the items were really good. I would thoroughly recommend Nicky and her business to anyone conducting any number of events not just weddings. Choosing a celebrant was a very important part of our wedding, after all this is someone who is going to stand in front of all of your family and friends and deliver one of the most memorable moments of your life and your relationship. We could not be any happier that chose Sophie! She is fun, friendly, brought the best out of both us in the run up to the wedding. I’m the louder more out there if the two of us and she was able to let me have fun but keep me in line. While my other have is the more reserved and go with the flow type, well she had him sharing memories and thoughts. This made the experience so special for us. We really valued how personal Sophie made the entire journey of working with her. Laughing our heads off on the initial intro meeting which she arranged, to the two hour session where she collected all the details she needed to put together a ceremony script that made us laugh at the same time as bring tears of joy. Exactly what we asked for. Sophie delivered the ceremony beautifully and we will never be able to thank her enough for how much she made our special day that much more special. If you’re considering a celebrant for your wedding, our vote goes with Sophie. She gave us a personalised professional service and left our wedding guests asking if she was a friend.
