Simply cannot thank Duncan enough for his recovery of my 'Blue Angel' BMW 320i Tourer that had the clutch go on it in Duck Street - Chideock, Dorset on Sunday 18th Aug; I was with my Brother and his Partner awaiting for recovery back to Wokingham -Berkshire that the AA had kindly arranged for me post my car breakdown. Duncan called me on my mobile and I immediately intuitively knew he was a fab, kind, considerate guy! He arrived Spot on time from the eta he gave me on the phone and, immediately built a great rapport with us; He was most upbeat, knew his professional stuff like the back of his his hand & great sense of humour. We laughed & chatted lots all the way sharing our stories of life. It was a great trip home. I think Duncan is an Angel on Earth sent to assist us! What a great chap! And, the most lovely and professional asset to Slades of Chard. Slates is on point!! The power steering on my Ford Focus had a malfunction, went through green flag to get a person out, he came within 30 minutes to Axminster! Got the job done easily and reassured me with everything, brilliant service. Want to give a personal thanks to the lad that did the job, he knew exactly what he was doing and got me back on the road in no time!

Popped in with shaking steering on way to Cornwall at short notice and the gentleman there kindly assessed all the wheels for me and pointed us in the right direction for a new tyre. Didn’t ask for anything for it - we had a packed car and tired kids so especially grateful - outstanding service and would highly recommend!

Jules, Steve, Matt and the two young chaps are always professional, polite and get the job done without ripping you off. I take all 3 of our cars to them for servicing, MOT's and repairs when needed and they have never let me down. If you want your car repaired with minimum fuss but maximum professionalism use BCRC.

Amazing service, had so much trouble with our Nissan. Could have easily fobbed us off and let us drive away as they were unsure on the issue. Phil and Steve went above and beyond to make sure it was sorted. Superb garage and decent guys too

This garage is fantastic. I had a nightmare scenario this morning - engine light flashing on the way to work, loss of power. RAC took 6 hours to come out and couldn’t fix it. Suggested the car would probably be a write off. I called BCRC and they said bring it in straight away (2pm Friday) despite a backlog of work they had on. They fixed the problem in under two hours and charged a very reasonable fee. Incredibly helpful and professional. I will use this garage in future.

I had my car Mot'd and serviced here, and on both occasions I felt well taken care of. Thorough job done on both and all staff I met were friendly and helpful. This will be my regular garage in future.

Called up late because my front wipers had stopped working and was told I could swing the car straight round, and they took the key and had a look at it right away and had the problem fixed within 30 minutes at a very reasonable cost and gave great advice. I just wanted to say my heartfelt thanks for helping yesterday with regards to my van MOT. I was in a complete state with my son being rushed into hospital on Monday, I wasn't sure how I would be able to get the car to you. I asked on the online chat about rearranging my mot but asked on the off chance it could be collected. Amazingly you said could collect it. It was then collected super quickly. I never expected it to be delivered back to me that same day too! Genuinely such an amazing service and I'll forever be grateful. What was already a really stressful time for me you took that pressure off, still managed to mot it so we're ready for all the subsequent hospital appointments my son needs to attend. RPM Motors were easy to book. My car went in for a diagnostic test as the car had been giving me electrical problems on my navigation, with no voice or speed cameras coming through. They worked out the drivers side front speaker had an electrical short circuit. So, they fitted a new speaker and now all is well. All of the staff I came into contact with were knowledgeable and friendly. I can recommend RPM.

car trouble whilst on holiday, camping site recommended these guys. They were very helpful and accommodating, just told me to bring it in. Really helpful! We were driving by on our way to the isle of wight. We're not from the area and our car was making a grinding noise. We stopped and asked if they could take a look and they did with no issues. Luckily car was fine, but we are very greatful for it being checked. Thank you!

Visited the garage whilst we were in the area on holiday, our car had started making a loud rattling noise when going over bumps and we were concerned about driving it around and getting home. Despite being busy, someone was able to look at the car and find the problem - a loose bolt which was quickly sorted with no charge. Very grateful for the help!

Currently away on holiday . Had abs and awd lights coming up on dash. Tried 4 different garages local in the areas to be turned away . Walked straight to reception and within 5 minutes a lovely chap came out and plugged the car in gave us some information we was after . No charge friendly and helpful. I use R&D Motors because they care. I had an engine shield fall off a Mitshibushi ASX which belonged to my 85 year old mother. Nothing critical just annoying. Not sure what it was I booked into see them. They know I know nothing about cars and went out of their way to help as usual. If you know nothing about cars and need the help of people you can trust visit the team at R&D Motors you will be happy with their customer care and service.

In all honesty, 5 stars isn’t enough. R&D have left me pretty speechless and thoroughly humbled today. I’ve always found them to be very efficient, and their quality of work and communication is and always has been exceptional. Even after I was grumpy af this morning following an unexpected mechanical failure on my car, they’ve pulled out all the stops to help me out. I genuinely can’t speak highly enough of them. I’ve had previous garages break things on my car and not tell me, say they’ve done the work and they haven’t, and many many more grievances. I am incredibly grateful to R&D for not only proving that there is integrity in motor mechanics but also showing a seriously grumpy customer that they really do care. 🙏
