Visited the garage whilst we were in the area on holiday, our car had started making a loud rattling noise when going over bumps and we were concerned about driving it around and getting home. Despite being busy, someone was able to look at the car and find the problem - a loose bolt which was quickly sorted with no charge. Very grateful for the help!

Really helpful! We were driving by on our way to the isle of wight. We're not from the area and our car was making a grinding noise. We stopped and asked if they could take a look and they did with no issues. Luckily car was fine, but we are very greatful for it being checked. Thank you!

Jim and his team go above and beyond - whacked my car midday on a Saturday and he was the only place open who could help. I drove it to the garage (top of the dirt road) and he gave an estimate of ~£800 to fix for parts (x3 body pieces & 1 new tyre), labour & loan car. I left the car with Jim Sunday night and by midday Monday the body work was all done and scheduled to be collected that evening. A good and honest garage with great contacts, morals, and work ethic. I'm thankful the car was able to be fixed so easily instead of allowing my insurance to write it off.

WOW what can I say about Jim, fantastic guy. I damaged 2 car doors on concrete bollard. Contacted Jim, who came straight round to quote. The next day my car was at the workshop. I was sent photo updates, and when I went to collect the car, I was blown away. It looks amazing. I would never know it was dented and scratched. I can't thank Jim and the team (Narla the dog) enough for the hard work. Great service and even better price

Only been in for an MOT so far after moving into the area. However first impressions (and after all that's what matters) is that it is a proper garage with people that know their stuff, aren't out to try and 'upsell' extras and repairs etc and are happy to chat about what was found etc. Definitely going to be the garage I head back to without a doubt for anything I can't sort/do and all my future MOTs

We had an issue with our car on a Saturday morning on bank holiday weekend - Pete was amazing, very reassuring and friendly, and fixed the issue within 10 minutes!

Very helpful and hopefully will resolve the issue with my car! Well it's a year on and this is an update! Following the temporary repairs to find out how much it would cost to fix, after paying for this and putting on hold these repairs as I could afford until I had taken the garage I bought the from from to court! The inspection after I had a positive outcome on the mot was to knock out some electrics that would then not pass an MOT! After a failed court case I was left with the burden of the full cost of £750..in my opinion this garage made things worse for me and my car and when ask if they could help with some of the cost they declined! So this is a second garage I would think twice about ever using again! Because they certainly didn't give a dam about the damage they caused while investigating the fault, which I paid them for!

Last Wednesday during I was attending my wife and sons grave at Caundle Marsh and unfortunately during the journey in the stormy conditions I must have hit a puddle with a pot hole and damaged my rear near side tyre hence a puncture. Being a in my mid 80's I did not relish the job of changing the tyre especially in the weather conditions, but Peter at the garage was on the job instantly and was so helpful and made me feel that he really wanted to help and i was very grateful more so as he refused any payment for the service. Always first class diagnostics and service. I have been using Hamilton Auto Tech for 7 years now for servicing my Mercedes and for one off issues and would highly recommend. Richard has great knowledge of Mercedes and is also very fair to his customers- he pointed me to the main dealer for a latent defect repair that Mercedes had to fund when I had no idea, saving me over £1500.

This was my first time using Hamilton Auto Tech Ltd but it certainly won't be the last. Richard and his team went above and beyond regarding my vehicles repair. He quickly diagnosed the issue with my VW Polo and regularly updated me with quotes prior to carrying out any of the work. He repaired my car in a timely manner using genuine VW parts and it cost less than 70% quoted by the main dealer. I was recommended Richard from a friend and I am now glad I have found a mechanic I can trust 100%. If you are searching the internet for vehicle repairs then please look no further. Took my car into Rich for its annual service this morning, first time visiting, and he was absolutely spot on. Loaned me a courtesy car while he worked on mine, completed the service very quickly and even took time to fix my number plate which was coming off. Rich provided a very professional and knowledgeable service. Very happy with the cost of the service as it was significantly more reasonable than all the other quotes I'd been given. I just wanted to thank the guys at Lovell and Barnes for your excellent work . We were on holiday in Corfe a couple of weeks ago when the clutch went ion our Passat . I phoned several garages for help with no luck . Lovell snd Barnes were really sympathetic and juggled their work to fit us in . They. also collected me and picked me up when the work was done. This could have ruined the holiday but they came to our aid and did their best. to minimise the repair costs . Thank You again I would wholeheartedly recommend this business for anyone needing their services in the future.

We needed some work done on our classic car. Most garages these days don't have a clue if the instructions aren't on their laptops. Lindsay at the garage, identified the problem and rebuilt the driveshaft in a couple of hours. All for a very reasonable cost. It's rare to find a trustworthy garage that you can have confidence in. We will definitely be using Lovell & Barnes for all our motoring needs in the future. I couldn't recommend them any more highly!

My car broke down on side of the road in crossways due to clutch and my car wouldn’t move! Phoned up in morning asked if they could come get it and fix it and was picked up in an hour or so and fixed the next day in the morning! Wasn’t expensive and the men in there are all so lovely and understanding - even checked over my car ready for its MOT would definitely recommend-thank you so much!

A1 service from the lads - sorted out my glow-plug problem in a day. Just a bit poorer now. I remember spark plugs being 5 bob each

Mini Countryman service and MOT carried out quickly and at a good price. Asked if I wanted a lift as I live the other side of town (which I didn't, but offering was nice). Friendly staff who were later happy to help (for free) with minor issue that arose in rear light casing.

Excellent service- over and above expectation in that the manager researched availability of a part at home to advise availability and cost of an issue discovered during the service of my car. Service cost very good and work completed within the day- it was a busy day for them so I was thinking it must be popular with others too.

Doug at KDS auto repairs has changed the Brakes and serviced my car also serviced my van as well. Doug was extremely helpful with doing the job at home and working amongst our crazy schedule. I would highly recommend KDS auto repairs and I would most certainly use them again the service received was extremely professional.

Doug came out and sorted my brakes in no time at all. Super professional and knowledgeable. He even spotted a problem my normal mechanic hadn’t and fixed that too! Great value and a great service. My go-to mechanic from this point!

Found myself in an urgent situation when my bumper fell off this morning, called Doug and he was with me within a couple of hours and managed to secure the bumper enabling me to not have the weekend plans ruined! When my engine blew up Doug came straight out and assisted me in getting my car back home. He sourced a replacement engine and all the necessary parts needed and I trusted him to keep the cost as low as possible without compromising safety.
