We were visiting family and travelled from quite far so we aren't familiar with the area but this place seems like it must be a local gem. The staff were amazing and so friendly, they couldn't be more helpful. The atmosphere was great and the food was so good. The price was so reasonable too for the quality of the food. Would recommend this place to everyone and will definitely visit again when back in the area. Thank you for a lovely lunch!

We visited Beaminster today for the first time. Nice church with a friendly 'Walk in Wednesday' group. Several interesting shops. We looked at several cafes before going into Dexters on the main street just almost opposite to the square. Only small with about 8 tables but with a French bistro look. Very clean. Friendly staff. They are open for breakfast, lunch and evening meals. Several people came in to book tables, so it might be worthwhile to do so on the busier days. We both had 'small breakfasts' with a pot of Clipper tea. It was enough for 2 cups each. The breakfast was piping hot and comprised of toast and butter, hash brown, beans, tomato, fried egg, sausage, mushrooms and bacon. All cooked to perfection and well presented. At only £6.50 ea. for the breakfast and £2 ea for the tea, we thought this was good value. Well worth a visit!!

Terry recently undertook the task of bringing power from our house to our external office/work space. He also wired it along with the installation of led ceiling lights and a number of sockets and switches. He also installed the associated earthing rods. In addition we asked for some help with regard to wiring our internet from the house to the new space. Terry was happy to carry out the additional work. At all times Terry was communicative, tidy and professional in the work he’s carried out for us. We were very happy with the service provided. Would use again and would happily recommend to others.

Terry did some work for us at our holiday cottage. We found him to be very accommodating and trustworthy, which was essential as he needed to be in the house alone. He also identified a fault on the electrical circuit he was originally working on and after being told that to find the fault could take anything from an hour to a day to find, we were worried about the bill we could potentially receive. The bill was very reasonable and this was another demonstration of how fair and trustworthy he is. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others.

Having never needed an electrician in Dorset before, Terry was the first and only contact I needed to make. He completed a thorough survey of the work required and subsequently provided a quote which I was more than happy with. I did not feel I had to look elsewhere. The work was carried out to my complete satisfaction in a very tidy manner. I would have no hesitation in recommending and using his services again.

Brilliant service from Chris. Always dead on time and did a prompt and tidy job. Installed a wall light and shavers only socket in a bathroom for us. He’s a very nice chap and was always very responsive. Will definitely use him again when we need electrical work completed.

Great service from Chris when I needed my lights repairing at home. Quick response to my enquiry, turned up on time and work completed swiftly. He also repaired a socket I had cracked at my business premises. Disruption to the power was minimal and work completed without any mess. I would highly recommend, have passed his details on to family and friends and I'll definitely be using his services again.

We were in the area and booked lunch with relatively short notice. Having never been before we were all very impressed and so glad we did. Great food, great service and a lovely country pub. If we lived closer, The White Horse would quickly become our regular. We even spoke about visiting the area again, simply to come back here!

We were staying in down for my birthday. I looked on Google for somewhere for a Sunday roast. Reviews looked good. Have yo say best roast I have had out. Well done to all the team who were working extremely hard to give good service and good food. Lady taking our payment said they do similar midweek. Give it a try.

The staff were very attentive , accommodating ( we have 2 toddlers) , and friendly we could not fault it . Im glad we booked as they called back to say we left a changing bag , where would we be without that!! We shared the platter for 2 and the food was insane! i could have had a whole bowl of the pork with that dirty mash it was sooo good. If youre staying anywhere within 15 miles of this place its def worth the trip if youre a foodie.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Despite Richard’s work van breaking down in the morning he could of easily postponed the installation of our EV charger for another day, but he sorted out another van keeping us informed all the time and carried out the work later on in the day. We stopped by this lovely little outdoor cafe before setting off back home after a weekend in the area, and I’m so glad we did. Lo's Coffee Shop knows how to turn a Saturday evening into something legendary. We waltzed in as the Wonky Donkeys took the stage – I mean, talk about timing! The night transformed into an epic adventure, with food that could rival any gourmet joint, a great beverage selection and an atmosphere that had me wondering if Hogwarts' enchantment spilled over to this corner. The live music by the Wonky Donkeys? Let's just say they added more magic than a wand-waving wizard. And don't even get me started on the dog-friendly vibes – these folks deserve a round of applause for that. Oh, and the staff? Superheroes in aprons, no doubt. Seating's outdoors, but thank the coffee gods for those blankets that turned into cozy capes as the evening cooled. Wonderful cafe. Lo made us very welcome which is especially appreciated as not all cafes like mountain bikers. She set aside a table for us. The cafe was wonderfully warm, while the weather outside was freezing. The food was excellent & the coffee especially good. We had a great time and we will be back

Dan is one of the electricians who works at JW Electrical Solutions. I had a few small jobs but they were important to me. Dan just got on with the work and checked that I was happy with each one as they were completed. I would definitely want JW Solutions to carry out any work that I might need in the future.

I had an issue with my electric sockets in my house which happened over night and I was having an issue to find the cause/source for the problem. After long day at work it was challenge to get some one to come around to fix. I "googled" found this SES LTD. When called spoken to Jonathan who patiently listened to my story and explanation of events and what I tried so far. He kindly gave me some further guidance and advice what else to try and after 2 more calls over the next 20 min we found the cause. Jonathan does not know me and I didn't know him, however he treated me like he is just a friend who would happily to help out when needed. He didn't even ask for money. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

I had an electrical outage. My Internet, fridge, and all appliances were out. I called for the emergency call out service and the electrician offered to help me. I sent him a photo of my mains and he was able to walk me through the issue over the phone. Great service, would definitely recommend.

This service has been run by Jonathan for 37 years now! He is courteous, helpful, and proficient. And If you call him he will endeavour to talk through with you any issues you may have, which could well save you money!! I wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending Southern Electrics!!
