My first time using this garage, after a recommendation. Very impressed with Danny and James. Quick to answer my initial call and I received a call back with the estimate in 15minutes. Despite being fully booked they understood the clutch replacement in my Hilux was of high importance to my business operations and managed to complete it within 24 hours of the vehicle being dropped in. I have previously used a main Toyota dealer for my Hilux maintenance. However after using Library Road garage, I will likely take all of our business vehicles here in the future.

I discovered this garage by chance and read all the glowing reviews! My car battery had died and recovery said Id need a new one. I called up as soon they opened to see if they can fit me in for a new battery. Danny was so lovely and told me to come along. I dropped the car off at 10.30ish and by 12.00 it was ready to be collected. Cannot fault the excellent communication and efficiency of this garage. I will defo use again! Thank you.

The team at this garage are amazing! They diagnosed the issue with my car quickly and efficiently and kept me in the loop with every decision. This is the best and most honest garage on the south coast . I had a problem while on holiday and talked to helpful young man he asked me to come back the next day and he repaired it at a very reasonable price. They don't take advantage of holiday makers.

Went in here today since I didn’t know if I would make it to London with a tyre that I could not pump with air . Felt snookered . The very patient mechanic looked hard for a locking wheel nut , I took up loads of his time with all the junk in the boot . Pumped up the tyre anyway and they wouldn’t even take any money . Top people . Will put whatever business their way when I need a job done.

These guys are the epitome of honest and professional mechanics. Visited here today, after a leaky valve on a tyre had resulted in a flat, and wanted to get it sorted before the long drive home. I was also concerned about another tyre which had lost pressure on the drive down triggering my tyre pressure warning light. They checked over the tyres thoroughly and told me they were all fine. The leak in the valve was probably caused by some grit. They then didn't charge us for their service, even though they had given us their time and valuable professional opinion. We are very grateful to them for the peace of mind they have given us for the journey home. They obviously have a lot of integrity and are a top notch and friendly team. Highly recommend.

Fabulous, friendly, honest service. Had a tyre puncture while staying near Corfe Castle. They said if the nail had been nearer the outer edge would have needed a new tyre, i wouldn’t have known that. They were able to repair our new tyre without replacing straight away. Would highly recommend and so reasonably priced,

I don't know where to start, Nick was absolutely fantastic. I'm not from the area and was only visiting for a wedding. My car started making funny noises on the way down, turned out it was the exhaust. Nick looked it over, ordered in a new exhaust and had it fitted in no time whatsoever meaning I could still carry on with my plans as normal. He even dropped me off and picked me from where I was staying. We had a good laugh too & some good convos & (whilst you don't want your exhaust to go) I came away with a massive smile on my face that stayed on my face driving home! Absolute credit to Swanage & I can't recommend them enough - I just wish they were based in Manc! 10/10.

Nick managed to eventually locate the problem in a very professional manner. All is now well and the vehicle drives as normal. So one more happy customer and once again.Thank you.

Popped into this garage unannounced as my brake and indicator lights were playing up, mechanic could not have been more helpful. He checked the lights straight away, advised on next steps and provided assurance that it would be safe to drive home with car in condition it was until permanent fix. Where do I start with these wonderful people? I just returned to London from a weekend away in Swanage. Just as I arrived in Swanage on the Friday, my car started having all sorts of problems and was constantly losing power when I was accelerating and it was jumping around whilst idling. I looked up garages in the area, found Nick's place and got in touch. Nick and his wonderful wife were actually away on holiday at the time, yet still took the time out to contact me to get as much information as they could about the issue with the car and how long I was around for. I thought it had fixed itself and was going to try to drive it home on Monday, so explained that I wouldn't bother taking it to the garage in Swanage. Of course, 5 minutes into my return Journey to London, the issues came back and this time the engine light came on. I managed to get the car back to Nick's garage. They were completely booked out for the entire week, but thanks to their years of experience of working for Vauxhall, they immediately diagnosed the issue without even needing to check the car (of course Nick then promptly checked the car to confirm this was the case and was correct), ordered the new part needed and had my car back on the road within 2.5 hours! 2.5 hours from breakdown to full part replacement, in a small town like Swanage. Incredible! My review does not do justice to how accommodating, friendly, caring and helpful they were throughout the entire process. They saved me from a huge headache and my car drove beautifully back to London without any issues. If you ever have car issues, please contact Nick Taylor's garage. Excellent service! The team at Wardie Motors helped me out of a tough patch. Our camper van gear box bearings needed seeing too and we were off to France at the end of the week. They managed to fit us in when no one else could and turned the repair work around in a few days, just in time for us to set off. Great comms, talked me through all the details of the job and what was needed, plus they kept me regularly updated on progress. I highly recommend them! Thanks guys!

Jamie and his team look after all my cars and vans and have done for the last 6 years or so. This time I had the van back for a full service and got a free carbon clean. The van runs so much better than before even after previous services, it’s quieter, smoother, more torque, and MPG has increased from 27 to over 31mpg. 5* for a 5* service.

I would put 5 stars if would be organised parkingd for customers and full responsibility of dpf cleaning. Around the corner company cleans for £180 instead £250, for non checking any faults. I choised for more money, thought it's for better quality but had damaged smoke sensor after cleaning, which might be damaged before. In my case next time I'd save £70 Thanks to company owner for suggestions where not to park overnight my vehicle to not get clamped, because I did dismantled dpf by myself, otherwise I'd had to wait for another week to get it done. And took dpf cleaning at first thing in a morning.

Couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. I had a flat tyre when staying in a nearby B&B on holiday. They were very busy but managed to send someone over to the B&B, take the car away and repair the tyre within an hour so I could get going again. Very grateful for sorting me out. Thanks again.

Picked up a puncture whilst on holiday in Corfe. These guys were really helpful. Puncture was beyond repair so they sourced a replacement tyre and had us back on the road. If I lived locally. I'd use them all the time

On holiday in the area when the car got a problem. I tried 3 other garages that said they couldn't look at it for a couple of days before someone recommended Foleys. Fantastic garage, my engine light came on while I was visiting the area, Gary sorted my car out the same day including sourcing the parts and talked me through exactly what needed doing and all the costs. Trustworthy and great service, would recommend!

I have been using Swanage Auto Centre as my local garage for a couple of years now as I live locally and have always found Gary to be approachable and reliable. As a single female I often find male dominated work environments a little daunting but have always found this garage to be very chilled and welcoming. My old car has its MOT, any work needing and general check ups done quickly and with great communication regards pricing etc. Really happy to have a local reliable service provider and happy to recommend, just as they were recommended to me.

Great service. Came down from Warwick to visit family for the weekend and upon arrival in Swanage my engine mount collapsed. Gary was on hand straight away to take a look and diagnosed the problem immediately. Work was carried out as soon as he could fit me in as he was pretty busy with it being a friday. My car is now fixed and back on the road and happy knowing it's good to drive home tomorrow. Price was what I expected and was very happy with it and the overall service. Definitely recommended.

The Swanage Auto team are very helpful and friendly. They were happy to look at my car and give me advice in advance of my MOT without any charge or knowing if I would have my MOT done there but obviously did.
