I don't always leave a review for local businesses but credit where its due. I have taken my car to Blandford Heights Twice now for Service, MOT and some emergency work to fix an issues. Both times the staff have been helpful, friendly and my car was returned with the work done without any issues. I cant say they are the cheapest, but I think you all know that with cheap comes issues. They do the work well and they do it right. If that is what you want take my word for it .. they are a good garage.

Recovered my Car here with the help of AA due to a sudden breakdown (turbo boost pipe rupture). They ordered the OEM part and managed to sort everything out in 2 working days. Also, they effectively dealt with AA parts & garage team to proceed with my repair claims so I can claim it back. Friendly & professional people. Highly recommend them. Also, they do Lanoguard underbody rust proofing treatment :)

I have owned VW vans for the last 25 years and always used main dealers for all my servicing and repairs. I found M-tech by accident and I'm so glad I did! Absolutely the best Audi VW specialist garage in the southwest of UK. I run a VW Transporter and they have carried out all types of work for me to a very high standard, on time and as cost effectively as possible. I have recieved better service at M-Tech than at a VW main service centre.

M-tec have looked after our Audi and two VW’s for several years and their personal service is second to none. Their knowledge and experience should give all nervous customers confidence and they will always find the most cost effective solution. They are the reason we keep buying German cars so that they can look after them for us. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Having recently moved to the area i was recommended Ian by a neighbour of mine as my exhaust was very noisy and had lost power from the engine, having had bad experiences in the past I was very hesitant with using a new mechanic as for years I have continued to use my existing mechanic (30 miles) away. However I have to say I was more than happy with my experience, Ian was very knowledgeable and quick to diagnose the extent of the problem and had the parts ordered and fitted very speedily, Kelly in the office also had a great telephone manor and gave great customer service, even offering to drop the car back to me. I am always for supporting local business rather than national corporate companies so am glad I wasn’t let down, keep up the good work Dave

Another great experience with I J Motors. Ian and the team never disappoint and always go to extreme measures to ensure the best service and are the biggest help to me with whatever I need. They always fit me in and get whatever work needs doing turned around extremely quickly. Ian’s team are the best mechanics around and would never consider anyone else for any mechanical issues.

After waiting 19 hours to be recovered by the RAC I opted to use their recommended mechanic in our area. The vehicle was dropped off at 2:30pm and just got delivered to my home at 6:30pm repaired! The guys here went above and beyond with the standard of the repair and dealt directly with my warranty company smoothly. Also recognising my vehicle is my work horse they were keen to get me work ready asap. I couldn't be happier with their standard of work, kindness and punctuality! My only issue is we didn't find these guys sooner!

I can't fault the service i recieved from Dave and the team. I needed a replacement radiator with some urgency and euro car repairs managed to fit me in and get the job done quickly for a very reasonable price. A great team who go the extra mile. Highly recommended.

A friend sold me his 2004 Audi TT 3.2 Quattro for a very reasonable price though on inspection, there was rather a lot wrong with it! It has turned out to be quite a project for all at J Day and I can't thank them enough for all their time and care. Hours have been spent on it - checking it thoroughly initially, advising and explaining all that was needed to get it roadworthy, giving me a rough estimate of the cost, sourcing parts and finally completing all the necessary work. It now drives beautifully and I am so thrilled to have an Audi TT again. Thank you yet again to all at J Day - you are the best!

I send all of my vehicles to J Day, despite it being 30 minutes each way. As a very picky engineer, I want mechanics who are trained from first principles rather than page turning process-slaves. The staffs and management at J Day tick the right boxes, are reasonably priced and get the job done properly. I send friends and family there too. Use them, you won’t regret it.

I had a great experience with J DAY ENGINEERING LTD when they replaced my nearside rear brake caliper. It was sticking and causing uneven wear on the pads, but they handled everything smoothly and efficiently. The booking process was straightforward, and their communication was excellent throughout, keeping me informed about the time required for the job. No hassle, just great service! Such amazing customer service at MGR. Staff are so friendly, helpful and efficient. They went to every length to make sure they could get the parts needed and to keep the cost down as far as possible. I was kept updated about the progress throughout and my car was ready much quicker than I anticipated. I will make sure that the next time I need anything done on my car I will go to them. Wow! Honestly one of the best family run garages I’ve ever been to! I had to get emergency repairs done. And we phoned them last minute and they managed to fit us in about 15 mins after we had called. This is very rare usually have to wait weeks if not months for a garage to fit you in. They did a diagnostic there and then and told us the issue. They then set about getting the work done and gave us a time frame for the work and a price. It was a lot of work and the work was costly but they were so good in making us feel at ease about it. And they offered us finance to help pay for it by spreading the cost. The work was complete in a couple of days and I’ve had no problems at all in the last few weeks since I had it done. Fantastic service! Trustworthy and friendly! Elaine and Marcos kept in touch the whole time and were amazing will definitely be getting services and repairs done there in the future. 10/10 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

He quickly diagnosed the issue with my VW Polo and regularly updated me with quotes prior to carrying out any of the work. Always first class diagnostics and service. I have been using Hamilton Auto Tech for 7 years now for servicing my Mercedes and for one off issues and would highly recommend. Richard has great knowledge of Mercedes and is also very fair to his customers- he pointed me to the main dealer for a latent defect repair that Mercedes had to fund when I had no idea, saving me over £1500.

Took my car into Rich for its annual service this morning, first time visiting, and he was absolutely spot on. Loaned me a courtesy car while he worked on mine, completed the service very quickly and even took time to fix my number plate which was coming off. I typically use a main dealer for servicing for my car, however they had recently let me down at last minute and managed to get an appointment with DCM in Shaftesbury. I entered their reception area (bright and airy) and was met by their front desk staff in a very friendly manner. I was offered a hot drink whilst I waited. When the service was complete, the engineer didn't just disappear, they actually stayed to chat about what they had completed, before handing over the the front desk staff. I will have no hesitation in using DCM in the future!

Brilliant service. I rang about getting a new battery for my daughter’s car on Monday. They called back with a price within 10 minutes. It was fitted 36 hours later, the earliest convenient time for us.

They were very busy on the Monday morning when I dropped off my car for a service and MOT, due to a lot of staff off for various reasons including illness and attending a funeral. Despite this,the receptionist kept her cool and tried to accommodate everyone. She was run off her feet between dealing with customers and answering the phone. Due to the staff shortage, and the fact the car had to be retested after a tyre change, my car was not ready until the end of the day. To my surprise,I had a discount on the invoice because I had to wait longer than anticipated to collect my car. Great service and I will be going back.
