A delightful new cafe has recently opened its doors in Wimborne, offering a charming and affordable pitstop. The menu, while concise, delivers big on flavor. The decor is another delightful surprise. Cafe by Jo is absolutely lovely! I came here with my grandad as he had recommended the place, and immediately we were greeted with a smile from Jo herself. When ordering our drinks, she already knew what my grandad would like even though he had only been there twice before which shows her dedication to customer service, as well as lovely personality. The hot chocolate and coffee we had was delicious, and the decor is modern yet sophisticated. Overall, we loved it and will be back!

I was delighted with the quality of service provided. James helped connect a new electric towel heater and install an external socket at my home. Great job, very thorough and efficient. You wouldn’t have even known he was here afterwards - super clean and tidy. Would highly recommend and definitely use again for any electrical work!

Vincent has been my Electrician of choice since I became a Landlord, helping get my properties up to NIRC. He is reliable, a local Electrician, charges competitive rates and offers a no fuss service seemingly making every job a breeze for his customer's giving him a well earned 5 stars in my book. Recent jobs 2 ceiling fan replacements including building the things, and getting the hot water to heat up again in another property very quickly to the delight of the tenants.

Vincent was brilliant from start to finish. Super speedy arrival which was the most helpful thing when our whole home went down without power. Vincent talked us through the problems and then resolved them all for us swiftly and perfectly. We can't thank him enough. The price was brilliant too. I booked an afternoon tea for 8 of us for a 50th birthday treat. Communication before the day was very good and the actual afternoon tea was amazing, very fresh with a great variety of sandwickes and cakes. The team went above and beyond to ensure we were all very well looked after, bringing us extra sandwiches and tea! I would highly recommend this lovely cafe overlooking the river for afternoon tea.

A beautiful relaxed setting tucked down the side of the Mill with a gorgeous river that created a great atmosphere. Tasty cakes and amazing sausage rolls! Well worth a visit. We will definitely return.

Outstanding experience. Super scrumptious food, excellent service, perfect atmosphere and really stylish. Homemade hummus (part of the mezze plate) was great and the pork and apple sausage roll (part of the farmers platter) was on another level. Truly wonderful. What more can one say? If you're in the area go and visit, you won't be disappointed.

This is a little gem of a place! We sat outside in the sun and ordered several items off the menu. The team were all charming and helpful and the food was fast and tasty. The farmers plate, shakshuka and brioche breakfast buns were all fabulous. The smoothies were perfectly balanced - not too sweet and the cakes are 10/10. Our new fave spot! Be sure to get there before the kitchen closes at 3!

Love this place!! Set in an oasis of green and calm situated by the river serving scrummy local food... this is the perfect...coffee/lunch/cream tea venue. Very welcoming and friendly staff...highly recommend. Check their website for details of events.

Thirsty Bird has a wonderfully eclectic decor that I find appealing and quirky. We booked to take friends for a lazy Sunday breakfast. We were met and served by the wonderful front-of-house team, who were friendly and delightful. The coffee is sublime, and we take ours black and sugar-free. You can't hide bad coffee ☕️. We ordered the Bacon Ciabatta and two Make-your-Own breakfasts. We had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, with halloumi and a side salad [a great alternative option to bread], and we had bacon and scrambled eggs, with halloumi. The food was delicious and beautifully plated, and the servings were generous. We will be back.

Lovely intimate eatery with caring hosts. Attended a private party there snd the buffet mezzo food was really good. Nice drinks too. The food menu is a little limited owing to their compact kitchen facility- but they make up for it in personal attention and ambiance.

We attended the Mexican night a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. The event was very reasonably priced at just £25. The food was amazing, freshly prepared and the portions were extremely generous with a delicious cocktail included. Couldn't have asked for a nicer evening and the staff were amazing, looking forward to the next one!

Really pleased with the work carried out to install 2 x extractors and a PIV unit. The work was much more involved than first thought, and the poor guy was working in our loft on the hottest day of the year! We brought a house with 12 solar panels just over a month ago. We knew the panels were not serviced or cleaned since installed 10 years ago (2013) We reached out to DES Ltd who completed a full service and cleaning service. I love the casual, friendly atmosphere where food & coffee are affordable & great quality. Delicious homebaked cakes, savoury pastries, & the best sausage rolls in town are a real treat. Gluten-free options are also available. Frankie & Teresa are always welcoming & friendly. I love the colourful side salads & the variety of ciabatta fillings available. Mums, solos & couples enjoy meeting up, pet lovers are clearly at home bringing their dogs along & enjoy the attention they get. Love the warm atmosphere created by the community who are regulars.

Lovely little place, I had the vegan bagel which was super tasty and fresh, and an oat milk latte which was top tier, the customer service was great and I loved the local atmosphere and all the little dogs in there, I picked a good place to stop on my journey, well worth it! Big car park right by it where you can park in too if you’re just grabbing a take away like me.

I am so glad that this place exists in Ringwood! It has such a fresh energy. Coffee beans 5 stars. Food 5 stars. The store feeling 5 stars. Staff 100 stars. It is such a nice place to have a quiet moment and do some work (there is free strong wifi) or meet up with a friend. I cannot wait to make this my regular place when I am down here. A beautiful and lovely small business that needs more recognition. The food is exceptional and homemade and one of the big selling points for me.

I visited with my daughter yesterday....this is my new favourite coffee shop! It's small but very cute. We both had French toast with berries and maple syrup, it was lovely. Lovely staff, super friendly. Dog friendly too 🐾 Will definitely return.

Just had 21 panels (split between east and west of my roof) and a large battery fitted by Russell and his team. The plan being to maximise the amount of solar I generate and combine this with a heat pump (being fitted soon by a separate national installer). I got quotes from a number of solar installers before opting for Starks electrical. Whilst their quote was competitive the thing which stood out most with this company was their knowledge and experience in fitting solar and I liked that they were a local company. I was able to make tweaks to my proposed system and get lots of free advice from Russell’s team so by the time the install went ahead I was really confident about my purchase. There was absolutely no ‘hard sell’ and I was given options for various systems at different price points which was great. The installation was very smooth. The team who did the install were great - worked really hard, were polite courteous and really nice guys who had years (decades!) of experience in solar installs. The system is now working great - even in October! I highly recommend this company.

Great service from Russell and his team. Everything was completed very neatly and within the timescale I was given. The electrician then came back separately to assist with my setting up the app so I can monitor as necessary. My electricity usage is now an average of 3p per day.
